SUMMARY:2026 TCDSL Living Dead Match at TCGC - October 3 2026
DESCRIPTION:THE DEAD HAVE RISEN AGAIN\nThe outbreak began with scattered reports of violent attacks\, abandoned vehicles\, and emergency broadcasts warning residents to remain indoors. By nightfall\, the hospitals were overwhelmed. By sunrise\, the cities had fallen.\nNow the infection has reached Tri-County.\nThe gates are failing\, the dead are gathering\, and the last evacuation route passes directly through Bays 4–8. Ammunition is limited\, reinforcements are not coming\, and every shadow may conceal something hungry.\nSome of the infected move slowly. Others have changed into something far worse. Survivors will face swarms of the living dead\, contaminated laboratories\, abandoned streets\, and creatures produced by an experiment that should never have escaped containment.\nChoose your weapon carefully. Bring a flashlight. Conserve your ammunition. Keep moving.\nThis is an Outlaw Match using IDPA scoring. There are no rescue teams and no safe places to hide. Only competitors with previous action-shooting experience will be permitted beyond the quarantine line.\nFifty survivors will enter.\nWhether all fifty make it out remains to be seen.\nThe dead are waiting and they are hungry.\nTCGC and the Tri-County Defensive Pistol League welcome you to the 2026 Living Dead Match\, an OUTLAW match using IDPA scoring.\nTCGC HIGH MUZZLE RULE\nTCGC’s prohibition against a high muzzle will be strictly enforced throughout the match.\nThe muzzle of a loaded firearm may not be pointed above the berm.\nA firearm is considered loaded when a magazine containing any number of rounds is seated in the firearm. This includes when the magazine is seated while the slide or bolt is locked open.\nViolation of the High Muzzle Rule or any unsafe firearm handling will result in a Match Disqualification.\nSHOOTER-EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT\nThis match is not open to inexperienced or first-time competitive shooters.\nCompetitors must have prior match experience in IDPA\, USPSA\, Multi-Gun\, or another competitive shooting sport involving movement with a firearm.\nParticipation in a static shooting event or ordinary range practice does not satisfy this requirement. The Match Director reserves the right to verify a competitor’s prior match experience.\nMATCH INFORMATION\nDate: Saturday\, October 3\, 2026\nLocation: Tri-County Gun Club\, Sherwood\, Oregon\nMatch Bays: Bays 4–8\nMatch Fee: $30\,\n$15 for juniors\, paid on match day.\nShooter Limit: 50 competitors\nSCHEDULE\n7:30 a.m. — Stage setup\n10:00 a.m. — Shooter check-in\n11:00 a.m. — Match begins\n4:00 p.m. — Estimated match completion\nREGISTRATION\nRegistration opens September 12\, 2026\, at 12:00 p.m.\nRegistration closes September 27\, 2026\, at 8:00 p.m.\nOnly one registration per person.\nPayment is made the day of the match\, CASH only.\nMATCH DIVISIONS\nEquipment\nAll division other than Handgun-Open use standard holsters and mag pouches.\nRace gear (belt mounted magnets\, holsters that hold the weapon by the trigger guard and USPSA/IPSC holsters only allowed in open division\nPCC\, Braced Pistol\, or SBR\n-Pistol-caliber firearms only\n-Maximum magazine capacity: 30 rounds\n-Weapon-mounted lights permitted\n-Optics permitted\n-Lasers permitted\nHandgun — Irons\n-Maximum magazine capacity: 20 rounds\n-Iron sights only\n-Weapon-mounted lights permitted\n-Lasers permitted\n-Optics prohibited\nHandgun — Optics\n-Maximum magazine capacity: 20 rounds\n-Optics permitted (Carry Optics)\n-Weapon-mounted lights permitted\n-Lasers permitted\n-No frame mounted optics\nHandgun — Open (Race Guns and Race Equipment only division)\n-Maximum magazine capacity: 30 rounds\n-Optics permitted (frame mounted)\n-Compensators and ported barrels permitted\n-Magazine wells permitted\n-Weapon-mounted lights permitted\n-Lasers permitted\n.22 LR — Juniors Only\n.22-caliber firearms are permitted for junior competitors only.\n-Must be holstered\n-Lights and lasers approved\nCATEGORIES\nPlease select category if applicable:\nSweet Meat — Lady\nEasy Pickin’s — Age 10-11 and younger *\nHappy Meal — Junior shooters ages 12–18*\nSeasoned Citizen — Ages 50–64\nExtra Crispy — Age 65 and older\nCherry — First-time competitor at the Living Dead Match\n* Guardians must be in attendance below the age of 21 and a waiver signed\nEQUIPMENT RULES\nPistol-caliber firearms only.\nTraditional race guns and race equipment are permitted in the Handgun Open Division only.\nAll firearms must comply with the magazine-capacity limit for the competitor’s division.\nFlashlights are strongly recommended.\nIf you are uncertain whether your firearm or equipment is permitted\, contact the Match Director before match day.

SUMMARY:BRSP Steel Challenge Match - October 3
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 stage Steel Challenge match for members and non-members. This beginner-friendly speed steel shoot can be shot with .22LR pistols\, .22LR rifles\, PCCs (pistol-caliber carbines) and non-magnum\, straight wall cartridge centerfire pistols (e.g. 9mm\, .38SPL\, 10mm\, .40S&W\, .45ACP). This match requires 100 hits - we recommend shooters bring 150-200 rounds of ammunition and at least 3 double-stack or 5 single-stack magazines. Please arrive with magazines loaded and guns unloaded.\nWe shoot a split schedule. You can shoot the morning or the afternoon - or both! Morning setup will be around 8:30 with first shots immediately after setup. The afternoon start will be at 12:30. Maximum two divisions per shooter please. Pay here on Practiscore.\nWe run a cold range for the match. If you arrive carrying a loaded firearm\, please unload and clear BEFORE entering the competition bay. Use the designated safety table on the range to unbag and holster your already-unloaded firearm. Long guns must be cased\, or flagged and carried with muzzle pointing up. All other firearm handling on the range must be at the safety table\, except when shooting the stage.\nPlease note: we do not automatically paint targets between shooters. If you want steel painted before you shoot\, paint is available. Please notify the RO at the beginning of the match and coordinate painting with your squad mates ahead of time to help keep the match running efficiently.
