SUMMARY:RCLRC SEP 12 Scoped Carbine Competition 4
DESCRIPTION:RCLRC Scoped Carbine Competition\nSeptember 12\, 2026; Rain or Shine\nRacine County Line Rifle Club\, Ranges 6 & 7\nCheck-In starts 8:00 am\nSafety Brief at 8:45 am\nCompetition starts 9:00 am\nif you are not checked in and present for the Safety Brief\, you will not compete\nThe RCLRC SCC emphasizes speed & accuracy on intermediate-to full-sized targets\, from standard and non-standard shooting positions\, at intermediate/long ranges (~200-400 yards). NOTE: A bipod or a (big) front bag is a must-have (using a pack as a front bag will work).\n4 squads of 10 (8 competitors\, 1 RO\, and 1 Assistant RO per squad)\nEIGHT stages: 1 stage at 75 yards\, 6 stages at ~200-450 yards\, 1 stage at 535 yards\nAll targets 3MOA or larger. Most stages require multiple positions. Must get required hits to move to subsequent positions/targets in each stage. Stages timed with 180 second pars.\nScoring: Time + Misses (+5 second penalty for each hit not made by par time)\nScoped gas guns only; no magnifiers. Fixed magnification scopes of 3x or greater acceptable. Recommend you have access to at least 4x magnification.\nSlings encouraged\, suppressors encouraged\nCompetitors must use the same rifle throughout the competition\nNOTE: Neither bipods nor tripods may be ‘deployed’ (legs down/spread) before start of a stage\, unless stage description explicitly allows it\nAllowed calibers: 5.45x39 minimum\, .308/7.62x51 maximum (no exceptions)\nCHANGE FROM 2025: The two divisions are now “Small Frame” (AR15)\, and “Large Frame” (AR10) If using a non-AR-pattern rifle\, your division is determined by which AR frame your cartridge could be used in:\n--Small Frame = 5.45x39 (smallest allowed)\, 5.56\, 6mm ARC\, 6.5 Grendel\, 6.8 SPC\, 7.62x39\n--Large Frame = 6.5 Creedmoor\, .277 Fury\, .308\, 7.62x51 (largest allowed)\nAwards for Top 3 in each division; prize support items distributed by raffle (must be present)\nCost $40; pay on-site; cash preferred\nRegistration via Practiscore opens Friday\, July 31\, 2026\, at 7:00 p.m. CST\nWith respect to sidearms\, this event will be COLD. Rifles will be flagged and grounded in designated areas unless competitor is On Deck or under RO supervision.\nSend questions to: RCLRCscopedcarbine@gmail.com\nCommon Questions:\nWhy Hit-To-Move? Why can’t we ‘skip’ targets?\n--Unnecessarily complicates scoring and score-keeping\n--Introduces potential for ‘gaming’ stages\n--Reduces the degree to which stages are ‘instructive’ for a competitor: Missing something so many times that you par out clearly and undeniably indicates skill and/or equipment issues.\nWhy aren’t targets re-painted during the day?\n--Re-painting makes the day longer because it eats up more time than would be gained back by having them be ‘easy’ to locate while on the clock; targets will be painted gray to start\, so they're all the same\n--Targets that may be particularly difficult to locate are indicated with landscaping flags or other means

SUMMARY:Capital City Shooters September 2026 USPSA
DESCRIPTION:**Cancelled** sorry everyone but September USPSA match is cancelled along with all future matches for USPSA at Otto road range. Capital City Shooters USPSA at Otto range will no longer occur. A compromise with the range owner was unable to be met when it came to making the match better & needing to make improvements. Money to be spent on the match was restricted & could only go to the range owner. The owner refused to understand how USPSA matches need to be run & wanted to control all actions match directors made. Accusations were also made against the match directors regarding stealing money. Which was approached wrong & was a simple receipt error. I’m sorry but we can no longer put matches on at this location. I’m thankful for everyone who showed up to our matches & we had lots of fun. I wish I could’ve continued. Again thank you all for your support.
