We utilize a variety of shooting positions to engage different size steel targets\, at different distances from the firing line at the 600-yard range. Multiple shooting positions\, multiple plates\, and multiple distances\, come test your skills!\nUsing current range infrastructure and equipment\, shooters will compete in a match comprised of multiple stages\, developed to test every shooters skill\, and their grit. Each stage consists of a variety of different sized steel targets\, at different distances\, shot from different shooting positions. Shooting sequence and scoring will be established by the Match Director and will be clearly explained prior to each match during the shooters meeting and by the Range Officer prior to the start of each stage (match books may be distributed at check-in to explain each stage). Match scores will be retained by the Match Director and posted on the DR&PC Facebook page. Shooter of the year will be required to compete in a minimum of four matches; three regular season and the finale in October. Top three scores from the regular season will be added to the finale match\, which is a double points qualifier match and will be used to determine “Shooter of the Year” in each division and category. Cash or CC\n0930-1000 safety briefing and Faith talk\n1000-1200 steel challenge\nWe welcome all levels of shooters. This is the perfect venue for a new shooters or a shooter who is interested in a new challenge. Junior shooters are welcome! We encourage families to shoot together! Experienced shooters will be on hand to help. A fun shooting challenge has been planned that will be achievable for the novice yet offer the experienced shooter a chance to go fast! There will be an orientation for anyone who has never shot or wants to familiarize themselves with the loaner firearms or zero.\nRegular sign in starts at 0900 with the mandatory safety briefing and a Faith talk by Guest speaker. We will recognize all division in 22LR and pistol calibers.\nInsurance cost is $10 per shooter. We will have rifles available in RFRO for anyone who needs one. 22 ammo is available for sale if needed. All targets are steel ranging from 10-40 yards with the smallest being 4” circles at 10 yards. Four stages will be shot with a total round count of 110 with no misses or makeup shots. Plan on enough rounds loaded for at least 40 rounds to be shot at a time. 5-10 round mags is best or at least 2-25 round mags. If you need mags reach out to me with what type you need.\nThis is a cold range. Do not bring any loaded guns (LTC excluded). Do not load any gun unless under the direction of a range officer (RO). Arrive with your firearm bagged please. Suppressors are welcome and encouraged! Chamber flags are required and available for guns not bagged.\nEye and ear protection are required in the shooting area. Please bring your own. We have loner sets and side plates for glasses available.\nSign up for the match is on Practiscore. It is a free account and you will be able to see scores and sign up for a squad. Participants will face new scenarios each month\, with two short-range engagement stages\, and one long range engagement stage at 100 yards. Shooters will be "scored" based on stage time plus penalties.\nShooters should bring a semi-automatic rifle and plan on firing up to 150 rounds. Up to 4 magazines may be utilized on a single stage\, and your favorite mag retention system is encouraged. We do not impose limitations on firearms or ammunition; all calibers and legal equipment is welcome. Optics are shooters choice\, iron sights\, red-dots\, and magnified optics are all welcome.
