Whether you are looking to get into USPSA or Multigun\, this session will give you the opportunity to practice basic skills.\nYou will also develop skills to become an effective range officer (running the shot timer and the scoring pad). DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range IDPA Match (Cold Range\, please make sure all firearms are empty before arriving in the store).\nOur matches are held twice a month\, (2nd and 4th Mondays). It usually consists of 3 stages depending on crowd size. Check-in is 5:30-6:15. Shooters meeting at 6:15\, Bullets downrange by 6:30 or after the match brief.\nCost: $15.75\nPCCs will be allowed this match but must have a chamber flag and be in a case.\nSign up on Practiscore.com by searching for "Sharpshooters" for the latest match opening. There will be 2 squads to sign up on\, but you may be moved to balance them out before the match starts.\nAs a new shooter\, you don't have to be an IDPA member to shoot a match\, but after 3 matches\, you will need to join IDPA to continue to participate. Click here to join: https://www.idpa.com/membership/.\nThe minimum equipment is eye and ear protection\, an IDPA-compliant firearm\, a secure holster\, mag pouch(s)\, and an outer garment that will cover them with your arms outstretched. We encourage female shooters to participate.  We always have a few females shooting regularly\, but would like more to enjoy our sport. This match is especially good for permanently disabled persons\, as it is on a smooth-level concrete floor\, and other accommodations are made for you. For moving stages\, if you are on a mobile device\, an experienced shooter can push you through the course of fire. DESCRIPTION:The Every-Day Carry Match (EDC) concept is designed for the shooter to practice with the firearm that you carry concealed on a daily basis. As a participant\, this should be the weapon\, holster\, garment etc.\, that you use every day depending on weather and season.  Your EDC firearm\, which is usually a small\, easily concealed handgun should not show or "print" through the garment used to conceal it. The courses of fire are designed to simulate situations that could occur in the real world given range limitations.\nWhen was the last time you used your EDC?  Now ask yourself\, when was the last time you used your EDC in a scenario\, timed and against others in similar classes and skill levels?  How reliable is your weapon and your gear?  Have you ever put them to the test?  This match should help you become more comfortable with your equipment and your gear. DESCRIPTION:Lewiston Pistol Club will be hosting it's monthly Steel match at the Bernie Petersen range.\nStage set up and registration begin at 9:00\, new shooter orientation begins at 9:30.  Please arrive no later than 9:30\, the match will begin promptly at 10:00.\nThe cost is $15 for LPC members and $20 for non-members. First time match attendees shoot for free. For more info\, please see http://www.lewistonpistol.org/Action.php.\nWe run a "cold range" on match days. Be sure to have all firearms unloaded and bagged when you come up to registration. This includes carry pistols. NEW SHOOTERS: Please read info at http://www.lewistonpistol.org/NewShooterInstructions.php before heading to the range.\nDue to the fire hazard\, metal piercing\, incendiary\, and/or tracer ammunition\, steel jacketed and steel-core bullets are prohibited at the Bernie Petersen Memorial Range.\nThe monthly steel match comprises four stages. Most stages have five static steel targets of various sizes at ranges varying from seven to twenty five yards. None of the shots are hard to make! This is drag racing with a gun. Each stage is composed of five strings\, the slowest of which is thrown out. Other stages may be more open ended with some movement and moving targets. On occasion we will have unusual but fun challenges. Your times for all stages are added together and that's your score.\nFollowing the match\, we often offer a pistol side match consisting of one stage with a ton of steel targets for those who just can't get enough or feel compelled to redeem themselves. In order to compete you'll need:\nEye and ear protection\nHandgun (please no hot magnum loads--they mess up the steel)\nSufficient ammo (175 rounds IF you don't miss--bring more! 200 is usually enough)\nBelt holster (that covers the trigger guard and requires only one hand for drawing and re-holstering)\nSufficient speedloaders/magazines to allow you to shoot at least 35 rounds.\nHope to see you there.

DESCRIPTION:General fun match to allow the shooter to shoot anything from a competition gun to a carry gun.  Divisions similar to USPSA.  Registration/Check in starts 1 hour before the match. Match requires gun with 3 magazines with a hard sided holster and magazine pouch with eye and ear protection.  Stages will be between 18-26 rounds with 6 stages scored as Time Plus format.
