DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bowling Pin Competition Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete in shooting 5 bowling pins off a tabletop from their respective sides\, using revolvers with 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5\, up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter's Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional divisions. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. If all pins are knocked down in a tie\, 2 pins will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. If they tie again\, an additional pin will be set up for the next tie-breaker round.

DESCRIPTION:RIMFIRE SHOOTERS ARE NOW PERMITTED!\nFolks wanting to bring their 22lr gun and shoot rimfire at a USPSA match are welcomed here as long as they follow the same safety standards as people shooting centerfire. This is intended for those who are looking to get into USPSA and don't want to shoot centerfire\, or those who have difficulties shooting centerfire. If you can and have the ability to shoot a centerfire gun\, please shoot a centerfire gun. There will be some caveats as rimfire shooters will not be able to classify in any official USPSA divisions and any steel will also have to be repainted before a rimfire shooter shoots a stage. Rimfire shooter's scores will be deleted from the match before upload\, but an email will be sent out before with all of the scores. If you want to shoot rimfire\, please choose either the (Rimfire Rifle) or (Rimfire Pistol) divisions.\nThis match will be held at the Sheridan County Sportsmen's Association Pistol Pit Complex.  Match sign-in\, match day payment\, and set-up will begin at 8:00AM\, all those wishing to help set-up are always welcomed.\nThere will be a mandatory safety briefing at 10:00AM and the match will begin\nWe will shoot 2 USPSA classifier stages.\nMinimum round count for the match is undetermined as of (5/12/26)\, please come back here in the future for a round count.\nThe match will follow USPSA Rules. SUMMARY:Pinetucky Steel Challenge September 4th-5th
DESCRIPTION:Match time is 10:00am for Friday and 10:00am Saturday. For those who have not shot a Steel Challenge match before\, arrive before 9:30 for registration and let the person doing registration know this is your first match. A separate short briefing will be held for new shooters. If paying by credit card\, arrive extra early and go up to the clubhouse to pay and bring receipt to registration.\nClub level 1 Steel Challenge match. Fun for everyone from Grandparents to Grandkids. 6 stages\, 150 rounds minimum\, but bring 250 rounds or more. Five mags per gun is nice\, but not required. If shooting a centerfire pistol\, you must have a holster.\n$20 for first gun\, $10 additional ($30 total) for second gun.\nDiscounts if applicable (only one per person\, whichever is higher):\nPinetucky Gun Club Member: $5 off\nCertified NROI USPSA RO\, CRO\, or RM: $5 off\nJuniors: First gun free ($20 off total)\nSetup Crew: First gun free ($20 off total)\, *available to the first 3 volunteers*\nShooters who help setup on Thursday afternoon will shoot for at discount ($20). Please contact Michael Brassell (706-339-9145) if willing to help setup Thursday afternoon (weather permitting). Limited number of free slot available for setup crew.\nFriday squads are available to give an option to shoot on Friday instead of Saturday. Friday and Saturday squads will start shooting around 10am. If you wish to shoot on Friday and there are no openings then register with the word Friday in the "Group" selection on the registration form along with anyone you may want to shoot with on Friday and you will be on the wait list. Same for Saturday if there are no openings.  On Friday and Saturday\, it is 20 for the first gun each day and $10 for the second gun each day. Since it is one match for both days you cannot shoot the same division twice within the match. Check-in before 9:45 or risk losing your spot.
