DESCRIPTION:This is a match designed for people new to practical shooting games.  IF YOU ARE NOT A NEW SHOOTER\, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED..\nIf you watch this video it will be discussed and helpful: \n\n\n\n\n\n			\n								\n \n																			\n \nWe will go over the rules\, divisions\, and then run three to four mini stages all building on the fundamentals of practical shooting. By the end of the night\, you should posses the knowledge necessary to safely compete in your first local match.\nOn signing up\, if you don't know your division sign up as LIMITED MINOR UNCLASSIFIED (U)\nPlan on bringing your gun\, a good quality holster\, two spare magazines\, and mag pouches to hold them in. Bring 150 rounds. You won't need that many but it's always good to have them just in case. Additionally\, bring good eye and ear protection. Over the ear muffs are recommended as we are shooting indoors.\nWhen you come in\, remember to keep all guns in boxes or otherwise holstered and unloaded until you are in the safe area or directed by the Range Official.

DESCRIPTION:Setup begins around 5:30pm with a practice available until the safety brief around 6:50pm with the match start at 7:00pm.\nMetallic silhouette involves shooting at steel targets representing rams\, turkeys\, pigs\, and chickens\, seeking to knock each metal target over. In our casual club league indoor silhouette\, animal target sizes vary\, but all are set out to 25 yards.\nEach animal has 10 targets\, and shooters have 4 minutes to complete 10 shots in an attempt to knock them all down. Any .22LR rifle or pistol\, or .177 or .22 caliber air rifle\, is permitted in this match. The match will require 40 rounds\, plus any used during the practice shoot period or making up for misfires.\nOpen to members and the public.\n$5.00/gun for adult club members\n$7.00/gun for adult non-members\nThis match is capped at 3 relays for a total of 48 shooters. Once those spots fill\, a wait list will open here.\nIf we receive cancellations through the withdraw function of Practiscore\, those spaces will be filled from those on the wait list. Any available spaces created by no shows can be offered to walk-ins first come\, first serve.\nYou can add yourself to a relay - called a squad here on Practiscore - so that our younger members and those with early obligations can fill the earliest relays. DESCRIPTION:22LR Falling Steel Match at Sharpshooters Indoor Range (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete to knock down five 6"x 8" steel plates from their respective sides\, using only 22LR Rifles or Pistols\, 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5 up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 16 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 2 separate divisions\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Pistol (any sighting system). A free match pass is presented to each division winner. Sponsored shooters are not eligible. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page. Minimum Equipment: Rifle must have a safety flag\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. Pistol in a safely secured container (Holster\, Range Tray\, Range Bag\, or zippered gun rug)\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection.\nYou may sign up for 2 divisions. There will be a $5 fee for a second division.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with another 10 rds to break the tie. If all plates are knocked down in a tie\, 2 plates will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie.
