DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the ASC USPSA MAY 2026\nMatch will be a minimum of 6 up to 8 field courses\, up to 200 rounds. Expect a minimum of 2 long\, 2 medium\, and 2 short field courses.\nCheck-in opens at 8:00 until 8:30 in the east range building. Stages will be built the morning of the match\, all shooters are required to help with setup\, if you can arrive earlier to help please do so. There is an access drive between the 100 yard and 200 yard ranges that will take you to the east side ranges. If you can't find them\, ask a club member or RSO and they can guide you back to the ranges.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Central Carolina Gun Club\,Inc. LONG GONG. Long Gong is a 300 Yard Challenge for the .22LR rifle. The Targets are AR400 steel Gongs with a diameter of 8”\, 6”\, 4”. Scoring is 1 point for impacts on the 8”\, 2 points for the 6”\, and finally\, 3 points for the 4”. This match is shot off of a bench with a ten round limit for 5 sets. That’s 50 rounds per match. Bags & bipods only. There is a three MINUTE time limit per stage. Order of fire is 8” first and an IMPACT is required to move on to the next target\, than 6”\, last the 4”. If you miss a target you have to fall back to the last target impacted and continue from there. On the other hand if you hit a target you can choose to remain hitting said target you will be accumulating that targets point value.  Score will be totaled after each round with hight score being 27.  This is a Fun & Challenging game of precision for all ages and levels marksmanship. So come out and enjoy a little friendly competition while making some new life long friends. SUMMARY:OSA NEW Service Rifle Practice - 17 May 2026
DESCRIPTION:OSA's NEW Service Rifle is our version of traditional service rifle\, but modified to reflect current legal restrictions. Like 2016 NSCC\, but MilCun-style.\nOSA members\, affiliates and guests are welcome to participate in service rifle practices.\nThere are 16 matches in four stages\, fired at 200\, 300\, 400\, and 500 meters. Each stage includes a deliberate\, a snap\, a rapid\, and a fire-and-movement match. Only deliberate matches will have sighters. Targets are military Figures. Practices will focus on a limited set of stages or distances so that we can do "work ups". Due to range limitations\, all 100-meter matches will be modified for 150 meters.\nClasses (if we have enough participants) will be:\n- Modern - any rifle\, any sight\, total weight less than 5 kg\, trigger weight minimum of 1 kg;\n- Vintage - any rifle that was on general issue to regular infantry from any army;\n- Sniper - rifle  and equipment as per OSA MOS rules\, shot from the prone position.\nYou can download detailed rules and the course of fire from the osacanada.ca website (Events page).\nAmmunition must be proven safe in your rifle; you must have previously fired at least 50 rounds of this load in this rifle. If the ammo shows any signs of excess pressure\, you must withdraw. You'll need about 200-250 rounds for the day.\nWorking electronic ear defenders and safety glasses are mandatory. A spotting scope is recommended. Bring your own lunch and lots of fluid.\n$75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members\, $25.00 off for OSA affiliate members. If you're under 18\, register as a junior. OSA Volunteers who want to claim their discount on this event\, please email me.\nCheck in at the 600 Butts at 0830. You may be asked for proof of club membership.\nMandatory safety briefing starts at 0845. If you are not present for the safety briefing\, you will not be able to participate.\nIf you haven't been to an OSA event before\, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions. You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e.\, you must be a member of the CSSA\, CCFR\, NFA\, or similar. DESCRIPTION:PMRPC's Multigun gun (rifle\, pistol and optional shotty match)\, with five (four in the summer) or more stages\, every ODD month at Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. We are irreverent and don’t report to any alphabet soup organization coordinators/directors or need to divine our founders’ intent. This allows us the freedom to do whatever we damn well please! That said\, outside of safety\, we are not a fan of rules. We keep them to a minimum and stupidly simple. Scoring is Time Plus\, USPSA classic targets are pistol only while metric are rifle only. A healthy dose of head shots are smattered about to keep things from becoming a hose fest. If the mood strikes us\, an occasional plate rack or clays.
