DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the WCRHA 2026 IDPA Match 9\, BUG CHAMPIONSHIP.   This is our annual club event and has evolved into a pretty extreme BUG offering.   2026 BUG rules are in effect.  If competing for the Championship you must use the BUG rules.\nAll other divisions are NFC for the championship and each firearm is limited to 8 rounds.\nWe have made tremendous changes to our range and are now looking to pay for these capital improvements.   Come help support our club.\nSet up begins at 8am and we could use help getting the range set up for the match.  Many hands make for light work.\n830am sign in starts\n900am sign in closed\n930am SO walk through\n945am Mandatory Safety Brief\n1000am 1100am First shots (dependent on amount of set up volunteers and stages)\nShooters are expected to help set up\, reset between shooters\, participate in tear down and attend the mandatory safety brief.\nYou must register and pay to be approved for the match. Each Steel Challenge Match will consist of 6 Match stages of 50 points each with a time limit\, and a total score possible of 300 points for the match.\nRound Count: 30 Rounds.\nMatches have limited round counts\, no sighter shots\, no dirt shots\, no sharing of wind calls\, and no coaching. This is a skill challenge shot on Steel Targets of different shapes and sizes. You will shoot as a squad\, and will take turns Shooting\, scorekeeping and spotting. DESCRIPTION:Central Carolina Gun Club Field Target\n3668Fleming Graham Rd.\nBurlington NC 27217\nIn FT competition the objective is to hit a small “kill” zone hole in the target face plate that typically resembles a small animal. A successful shot strikes a metal paddle and tips the target face plate backwards indicating a hit. Targets are reset by pulling a string from the shooting position.\nA FT match generally consists of 60 shots (2 shots on 30 targets)\, placed at unspecified distances between 10 and 55 yards from the firing line. Generally\, targets are placed at or near ground level\, but more challenging FT courses have targets elevated high above the shooting position or down steep slopes. FT competitions adhere to a set of rules that cover safety\, shooting positions and equipment restrictions. Limited is 10 rounds in your pistol\, while Open is unlimited  (think Taurus TX 22).
