SUMMARY:August 6 2026 Bowling Pin Match at SharpShooters Indoor Range
DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bowling Pin Competition Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete in shooting 5 bowling pins off a tabletop from their respective sides\, using revolvers with 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5\, up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 20 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 3 separate classes\, Minor (380\, 9mm\, 38 Sp)\, Major (357 Mag or Sig\, 10mm\, 45 Auto) caliber\, and PCC. No 44 Mag or other similar or large magnum calibers. No Rifle calibers are allowed. Any sighting system is allowed. A SharpShooter's Match/Range pass is presented to each class winner. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nMinimum Equipment: Revolver\, Holster or gun rug or range bag\, eye and ear protection. Sign up on the Squad listed for your division. If you want to shoot more than 1 division\, you will need to sign separately for each one. There will be a $5 fee for all additional divisions. You may only shoot in 2 divisions.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with up to 10 rds to break the tie. If all pins are knocked down in a tie\, 2 pins will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. If they tie again\, an additional pin will be set up for the next tie-breaker round.

DESCRIPTION:RIMFIRE SHOOTERS ARE NOW PERMITTED!\nFolks wanting to bring their 22lr gun and shoot rimfire at a USPSA match are welcomed here as long as they follow the same safety standards as people shooting centerfire. This is intended for those who are looking to get into USPSA and don't want to shoot centerfire\, or those who have difficulties shooting centerfire. If you can and have the ability to shoot a centerfire gun\, please shoot a centerfire gun. There will be some caveats as rimfire shooters will not be able to classify in any official USPSA divisions and any steel will also have to be repainted before a rimfire shooter shoots a stage. Rimfire shooter's scores will be deleted from the match before upload\, but an email will be sent out before with all of the scores. If you want to shoot rimfire\, please choose either the (Rimfire Rifle) or (Rimfire Pistol) divisions.\nThis match will be held at the Sheridan County Sportsmen's Association Pistol Pit Complex.  Match sign-in\, match day payment\, and set-up will begin at 8:00AM\, all those wishing to help set-up are always welcomed.\nThere will be a mandatory safety briefing at 10:00AM and the match will begin\nWe will shoot 2 USPSA classifier stages.\nMinimum round count for the match is undetermined as of (5/12/26)\, please come back here in the future for a round count.\nThe match will follow USPSA Rules. Shooters are responsible for being in compliance with equipment requirements mandated by the rules for the division they choose to shoot in. DESCRIPTION:This is the 10th Annual Kentucky Steel Challenge State Championship. It will be an 8-stage (all SCSA classifiers) match in half-day format. There will be 3 sessions (Friday morning\, Saturday morning\, & Saturday afternoon)\, and competitors will shoot all 8 stages in one session. A maximum of 2 guns per session\, at this time. Exceptions may be able to be made if space is still available closer to match day.\nFriday: Check-in will open at 8:00 and we will go hot at 9:00 AM\, or once the final walk through is complete\, whichever is soonest.\nSaturday AM: Check-in opens at 7:00 and we'll go hot at 8.\nSaturday PM: Competitors may check in anytime after 7:00 AM. We will go hot as close to 130 PM as possible. Saturday PM shooters need to be checked in and ready no later than 1PM so we can start as soon as the AM session is complete and everyone has been fed.\nAwards and large prize drawings will take place immediately following the match\, once scores are posted. We will have awards for all divisions\, classes\, and categories\, based on the number of entries. Placement awards will be given based on registration numbers received by July 1\, 2026. You do not have to be present to win your placement award or trophy. I can ship your awards/trophies for a fee of $10 or hand them to a proxy of your choice who can hand deliver them to you. For random prize drawings\, you MUST be present to win.\nRegistration will be $60 for each gun ($40 for Junior/Preteen shooters). You will need to create a separate registration for each division you are shooting. Registration fee includes lunch. Additional meals for family members and other guests may be purchased from our vendor.\nOnce you have paid\, you will be approved to squad. Please ensure that you squad all divisions you plan to shoot in a session. If the squad does not have space to accommodate all of your divisions\, you will need to select a squad that has space.\nIf you wish to pre-order a match t-shirt\, you may do so\, prior to July 1st\, for $20.
