SUMMARY:SHOOT SIG - World Shooting and Recreational Complex
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor\, you’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed with less than 100 rounds and in under an hour. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee. Bring any pistol or PCC or try out a new SIG pistol or PCC for an additional fee. You must be a SHOOT SIG member and shoot a SIG firearm to be eligible for prizes.\n*NOTE: If you want to shoot in more than one Division or multiple entries in a single Division\, you must first complete your initial registration and pay the initial $45 match fee. Then\, you must register for each additional entry and select "Additional Division" under Extras in the payment information section to receive the discounted match fee of $25. Each additional entry in this manner will allow you to pick a respective Division and Squad; this will result in multiple registrations for the same match being displayed under your PractiScore dashboard profile.\n**NOTE: As a reminder\, we operate using a "cold range" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box or holster until you are under the direct supervision of a SHOOT SIG Range Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire. If you are planning to shoot the match with your carry gun and you arrive to the range with a loaded (hot) firearm\, we will have designated safe areas clearly marked where you can safely unload your firearm prior to checking in. Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time to allow enough time to check in at the registration booth. Once you have checked in and are assigned a SHOOT SIG Range Officer with your respective squad\, further instructions will be provided to you regarding when and where you can load your magazines\, and/or function check your firearm (if needed).\n***NOTE: Online Registration will close at 8 a.m. on Friday\, August 28th. Walk up registrations will be permitted during the main match from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

SUMMARY:Zoo City Armory’s "The Gauntlet" August 29
DESCRIPTION:The Zoo City Armory "The Gauntlet" is an intense shooting competition designed to challenge both the physical endurance\, strength and marksmanship abilities of its athletes. Competitors navigate a demanding course that includes a variety of obstacles\, requiring them to run\, climb\, lift\, move and maneuver through rugged terrain\, all while maintaining precision with firearms. The event tests not only speed and agility but also accuracy under pressure\, with timed shooting stages spread throughout the course. Participants must demonstrate a unique blend of strength\, stamina\, and sharpshooting skills\, making "The Gauntlet" a true test of all-around athleticism. Athletes will need to be able to move objects at a variety of weights and engage targets from 1-400 yards. \n*Mission / Spirit of the Gauntlet – Designed to be more of a training event to test yourself and equipment than a competition. We advocate Knowledge Distribution; if you see someone having trouble with a certain task / skill and you have a solution\, help them. We encourage coaching during this match! * \nAugust 29\, 2026\nCheck In and Registration: 0800\nShooters Meeting: 0845\nFirst Rounds Down Range NLT: 9:15am\nMatch Director: Chris Hutchison \nDivisions: \nLegendary: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 20lbs empty. This division will be the most challenging with max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 150lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 125lbs. \nHeroic: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 14lbs empty. This division is meant for the “everyday Joe”\, it will be physically demanded yet doable. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 100lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 90lbs.\nFemale Legendary: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 10lbs empty. This division is meant for “females only” to test their abilities in their own division\, it will be physically demanded yet doable. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 75lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 70lbs. \nRecruit: There is no plate carrier required for this division. Competitors can run a plate carrier or “rack” if they would like. This division is specifically designed for new shooters of the sport. This division is to help build confidence\, ability\, and experience all while having fun\, and meeting new friends. This division will test your abilities\, but not become overwhelming. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 50lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 50lb.\n Firearms: \nAll divisions are open (Rifle and Pistol may run any optic or multiple optics and any sort of set up). All rifles must have a sling. Pistols may have a red dot and must have a holster than can retain the pistol while negotiating obstacles. Yes! You can run a surpressor! \nRifle: .223 and above. No green tip\, tracer\, armor piercing or M855A1 allowed\, this could result in a match DQ if caught using these. \nPistol: 9mm or larger. \nPlate Carriers: The weight for all the plate carriers mentioned above will be weighed empty. Empty meaning that the shooter will not have any magazines\, ammunition\, radios\, water or other gear to “make weight”. The weight will consist of the plate carrier\, pouches and either ballistic or exercise plates. \nSupporting devices (i.e.\, Support Bags\, Tripods\, Bipods etc..) may be used from stage to stage but must be fixed to the firearm for the entire course of fire. Example\, shooter decides to run a “Game Changer” Bag for a stage\, the bag must be attached to their rifle for the entire course of fire. Ammunition may not be staged through the course of fire. All loads and reloads must come from the body unless otherwise stated in the Written Stage Brief (WSB). \nRound Count: Minimum Round count will be 100 Rifle and 100 Pistol. A more specific round count will be sent to the athletes before the day of the match.\nLast day to sign up and receive a match T Shirt is August 7\, 2026.\nAwards will be given to 1st\, 2nd and 3rd for each division. There will also be an award given for Top Senior 50+\, Top Junior 17 and younger and Top Military\, Top LEO\, and Top Firefighter.\nChris Hutchison\n(910) 585-4156\nThe.gauntlet.match@gmail.com

While these events are sanctioned by The Tactical Games\, each Affiliate operates as an independent entity.\nRegistration systems for different tiers of competition are strictly segmented. There is no crossover between Regional events and Skirmish events.\nIndependent Operations:\nRegional vs. Skirmish:\nRegistrations for The Tactical Games Regional Events and Skirmish Events operate independently.\nNon-Interchangeability:\nFees paid for a Regional Event cannot be applied toward a Skirmish Event\, and vice versa.\nTransfer and Refund Limitations:\nBecause each Skirmish Affiliate is a separate business operation\, funds and registrations are not fluid between locations.\nLocation Specificity:\nA registration purchased for a Skirmish at "Location A" is valid only for that specific venue and date.\nNo Transfers:\nSkirmish registrations cannot be transferred between separate Affiliate locations or different event dates hosted by different partners.\nRefunds:\nAll refund/deferral requests must be directed to the specific Affiliate Partner through whom the registration was purchased. SUMMARY:GEISSELE GAS GUN COMPETITION AT CLINTON HOUSE
DESCRIPTION:The GEISSELE Gas Gun competition is a 1-day match consisting of 8 to 10 stages combining pistol and gas gun engagements\, with targets ranging from 25 to 800 yards. This unlimited round-count event follows a HIT-TO-MOVE and TIME PLUS format\nMinimum round count: 80/80\nMatch will include lunch and awards\nShooters Brief at 0730\nGo Hot at 0800 \nGEISSELE competitions test a shooter’s ability to shoot accurately\, adjust for environmental factors\, and solve problems quickly\nGEISSELE Divisions and Categories:\nOpen Division\nCaliber/Velocity Limits:\nRifles must not exceed .30 caliber or 3\,400 fps (±34 fps for environmental/equipment variance). Exceeding this limit results in a match DQ. \nTactical Division\nDesigned for military/law enforcement calibers\, encouraging use of service-issued rifles.\nCaliber Restriction:\nLimited to 5.56 NATO/.223 Remington.\nAmmo Limits: Bullet weight ≤ 77 grains;\nmuzzle velocity ≤ 3\,400 fps\nWildcat Rounds: Modified wildcat rounds are prohibited; violators receive a match DQ.\nTactical Limited Division\nSimilar to Tactical Division\, with scope magnification capped at 10x.\nCaliber/Ammo: Same as Tactical Division (5.56 NATO/.223 Remington\, ≤ 77 grains\, ≤ 3\,400 fps).\nWildcat Rounds: Prohibited; violators receive a match DQ.\nCategories: Shooters may also compete in these optional categories alongside their division.\nMilitary/Law Enforcement (Mil/LE): Open to active-duty service members or credentialed law enforcement agents.\nLadies: Open to all female shooters. Males post-gender reassignment are ineligible.\nSeniors: Open to shooters aged 50+ at season start.\nJuniors: Open to shooters aged 18 or younger at season start.\nInternational Competitors: Open to shooters residing outside the USA.\nMatch Scoring:\n GEISSELE matches are “hit-to-move” format. Skipping a target (intentionally or accidentally) incurs full par time plus a 30-second penalty per skipped target.\nTime-Based Scoring: Recorded via shot timer from start beep to final shot or par time. Penalties are added to determine finishing order (fastest time wins).\nPenalties:\n• Rifle target miss: +30 seconds per target.\n• Pistol target miss: +15 seconds per target.\n• “No Shoot” hit: +15 seconds per target (distinctly colored\, briefed by staff).\n• Procedural violation: +15 seconds (e.g.\, wrong order\, position\, or rule breach).\nMD/RO Participation: MDs may shoot for practice\, not points. ROs may shoot for points unless they helped design a stage.\nTiebreakers:\n Skills Stage: A standardized GEISSELE Skills Stage\, identical at all matches\, breaks ties based on best time.\nPrecision Timing: If Skills Stage scores are equal\, time to the hundredth of a second decides. Top-10 ties reshoot the Skills Stage until resolved. Outside top-10\, tied shooters share averaged placement points\nGEISSELE Gas Gun Series Point System\nGEISSELE Points Explained\nPurpose: Points determine season standings.\nPerformance-Based: First place earns 100 points; others are calculated as: (Winner’s score / Shooter’s score) × 100. • Example: Winner = 1\,000 seconds\, Second = 990 seconds\, Third = 975 seconds. • Second: (1\,000 / 990) × 100 = 99 points. • Third: (1\,000 / 975) × 100 = 97.5 points.\nSeason Total: Sum of a shooter’s three best match scores. Diversity: At least one score must come from a different range.

SUMMARY:Pioneer Sportsmen Steel Challenge 08-29-2026
DESCRIPTION:Our mission is to provide a venue for Steel Challenge (SCSA) shooting and matches and to promote safe\, fair and fun participation in Steel Shooting competition. Pioneer’s outdoor shooting bays are well suited for steel challenge stages and we have first-class equipment that allow us to offer up to eight standard Steel Challenge stages at every match. We’re known for our capable\, experienced and friendly staff.\nSteel challenge is a unique shooting discipline in many ways. The simple and consistent layout combined with a mostly stationary shooter and multiple strings is well suited to shooters of all ages and levels. In addition\, the many divisions offered means that virtually any style gun may be used for competition as long as they are rim fire or pistol caliber. Each division is scored separately so shooters can directly compare themselves with their peers. Although the stages are rather simple\, the goal is to shoot each stage as quickly as possible and even the quickest and most experienced shooters continue to strive to overcome their limitations and improve their performance.\nMatches are typically held the first Saturday of every month April through November.\nNote: Match and Range specific rule (violation subject to match DQ):\n- Cold range; empty magazine well and no rounds in chamber.\n- Please observe PSI range rule of muzzle direction kept below top of berms\, even when reloading.\n- Match policies and procedures:\nPre-registration and early registration only.\nPre-registration and scores at Practiscore.com\nAssigned squads\n- Only one gun/run allowed on match day; those helping with set-up can shoot a second gun then. Please register with each gun on Practiscore.com\n- Match fees (all guns/runs): $25 for registered Pioneer members\, $30 for non-members and juniors (under 18 on first day of match) shoot free. Fees will be waived for a limited number of staff slots.\n-Check-in between 7:45 and 8:45 at tent beside clubhouse\n- Safety briefing at 8:45 AM at first stage and match begins at 9:00 AM\n- Six to seven stages this match\n- Scores will be uploaded to USPSA and count toward shooter classification (if SCSA/USPSA member)\nPioneer Sportsmen has a policy that shooters on their bays must keep their muzzles below the berms at all times while shooting including when reloading (revolvers excluded when reloading). This applies to all shooting on the range including during sanctioned matches. Members\, including those who are match officials\, are required to warn shooters of infractions and have the authority to ban shooters from the range after three infractions. This could result in a flight DNF and inability to continue shooting later in the match. USPSA/SCSA supports Pioneer's right to enforce this policy. Please respect our policy and avoid infractions.\nBy attending or participating in any event at Pioneer Sportsmen\, Inc.\, I acknowledge and agree to the following regarding media release and consent:\n1.	CONSENT TO MEDIA CAPTURE\nI understand that photography\, video\, and audio recording may occur at events held on club property or under the club’s direction. I give full permission to be recorded\, photographed\, or otherwise captured while participating\, spectating\, or being present at any such event.\n2.	GRANT OF RIGHTS\nI grant Pioneer Sportsmen\, Inc.\, its representatives\, volunteers\, match officials\, affiliated clubs\, event organizers\, and event sponsors the unrestricted right to use\, reproduce\, and publish my image\, likeness\, or voice for lawful purposes related to the club or its events. This includes the right to share such media with sponsors and partners for related promotional use.\n3.	NO COMPENSATION OR RIGHT OF REVIEW\nI understand that:\n- I will not receive any payment or compensation for the use of my likeness\n - I waive any right to inspect\, approve\, or control the use of any media in which I may appear.\n- I release all parties listed above from any claims arising out of the use of such media\n4.	BINDING AGREEMENT\nThis release is binding upon me and my heirs\, executors\, and legal representatives. If the participant is a minor\, I confirm that I am the parent or legal guardian and agree to these terms on their behalf.\nBrian Kruszewski from Off Trigger Firearms has generously donated a Ruger 10/22 with Simons Pro Rimfire scope to be randomly drawn from all registered shooters before the match.\nIf you have questions\, please email Matthew.poulin@comcast.net
