Click here. \nFormerly CHL\, this course includes your classroom time covering the current Texas State and Federal laws that surround your ability to carry a handgun\, as well as the required shooting proficiency test. The shooting qualification requires that you must be able to load\, unload\, and fire the handgun proficiently. \nTHIS IS NOT A FIREARMS TRAINING CLASS AND WILL NOT TEACH YOU HOW TO SHOOT. If you are new to firearms\, we strongly encourage you to take a Private LTC Prep Lesson prior to taking the class. \nNote: Texas rule banning persons under 21 from obtaining a License to Carry was declared unconstitutional. Persons 18-20 years old can now receive their LTC. Please note\, Defender CANNOT rent handguns OR sell ammunition to anyone under 21. If you are under 21\, you are required to provide your own firearm and ammunition in order to qualify for your LTC. \nShooting Proficiency Test Requirement \n3 Yard Line – 20 rounds\n7 Yard Line – 20 rounds\n15 Yard Line – 10 rounds \nWhat’s Included: \n\nState mandated License to Carry classroom instruction\nShooting qualification and range fee\nLTC-100 Certificate of Completion (it is your responsibility to submit your form\, Defender will not submit for you)\nHandgun rental for proficiency test (if needed)\nB27 target\nEye and ear protection (if needed)\n\nEquipment Needed: \n\nValid Driver’s License\nSemi-auto handgun or revolver\n50 rounds of ammo (available for purchase before the start of class. DESCRIPTION:Diablo Rod & Gun Club’s Monthly ..22 IR5050 Sanctioned Benchrest Unlimited Match held at 8 AM every 4th Saturday of the month at USI’s Multi-Purpose Range. Matches start at 8 AM. Range will open at 7 AM for set up & registration. Fee will be $16. Pls bring cash only & correct changes to make it simple. Current capacity of 15 benches. \nIR5050  is the national rimfire association we  follow as far as rules\, classifications\, targets  etc  and we  enter our scores on their site. \nThis is a recurring event every month- we intend to host this match barring weather or extraordinary barriers preventing the event from occurring in a safe environment. Heavy fog\, severe weather or other acts of nature could force a postponement. \nOur full IR5050 season continues as in prior years\, except the State and Regional Championship tournaments\, previously hosted in Sacramento\, will now be held here at the MPR.  We will also run double‑match weekends\, similar to the Sacramento format\, which will free up additional Saturdays for club matches\, Silhouette\, or possibly additional ARA events.
