DESCRIPTION:Steel Challenge: WE WILL BE SHOOTING 6 STAGES.  Check Practiscore and the RCPS Facebook page for times.\nWe have added online payment as an option. If you are shooting a second gun pay with the first registration and register the second gun separately.\nShoot 5 steel plates as fast as you can for time. Shoot up to 5 strings of fire per stage and discarding your longest time string for total time/score. You will need a minimum of 150 rounds. Match fees are $25/shooter as a walk on. Measurement will be made with the slide parallel to the longest axis of the box. All magazines must comply.\nRifle\nMaximum magazine capacity is thirty-one (31) rounds\, and no magazine may be loaded with more than thirty (30) rounds after the start signal. Magazines may be coupled together provided the capacity is not increased beyond the permitted maximum.\nIf a bipod is used\, it may start any course of fire installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the competitor’s discretion. When used\, it must remain attached to the rifle for the duration of that course of fire. Other supporting devices (dual bipods\, tripods\, bags etc.) are prohibited.\nOpen Division\nHandgun\nThe holster must safely retain the handgun during vigorous movement and completely cover the trigger. The belt to which the holster is attached must be worn at waist level.\nRifle\nSupporting devices (bipods\, bags etc.) may start any course of fire installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the competitor’s discretion and may be abandoned after the start signal.\nARMORED +P Division\nArmored +P Division Shooters must use a single rifle and single pistol for the entire event.\nHandgun No limitations on accessories not otherwise prohibited.\nRifle\nSupporting devices (bipods etc.) may start any stage installed or removed\, folded or deployed at the participant’s discretion. Any supporting device used on any stage must be carried on the shooter during every stage. No other limitations on accessories.\nAuxiliary Equipment\nA plate carrier system with front and rear hard armor plates must be worn during each course of fire. Plates must be rated to stop rifle calibers OR weigh 7 pounds each.\nA ballistic or bump helmet must be worn during each course of fire. Skateboard helmets that are compliant with the ASTM F1492 are acceptable.\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS\nThe competitor must start each stage with the following MINIMUM load out within arms’ reach on belt\, vest\, chest rig\, thigh rig\, or cargo/pants pockets\, or attached to firearms.\n4-Loaded Rifle Magazines and 2-loaded Pistol Magazines.  A rifle sling is not mandatory\, but it behooves the shooter to have one on the rifle or a single point on the body.\nSCORING:\nFTE=15 second penalty. Failure to engage applies to any steel target not specifically shot at or knocked down on a stage. Falling steel must fall or it is an FTE penalty per instance.\nFTN=10 second penalty. Failure to neutralize is for paper targets only. Any paper target that has less than 2 hits or less than required hits per stage brief.\nNO SHOOT=30 second penalty.  No shoot penalty is per hit on a no shoot target and is cumulative.  10 hits on a no shoot is scored as 10 penalties.\nCOGS=60 second penalty.  This is for any infraction or failure to follow stage procedure as outlined in stage brief.  For any instance a shooter cannot perform a physical item on the stage brief (example tire flip\, kbell throw or carry\, etc) the shooter will be given a COGS penalty per instance.\nStage briefs may stipulate scoring other than listed here.

DESCRIPTION:This is an OUTDOOR USPSA Match we have 6 challenging stages\, two of them will be classifiers.\nSign-in for the match will be from 10am to 10:45am. Shooters meeting will start at 10:45 in bay 6.  The match will start at 11am.\nFees: $20 for non-club members\, $10 for club members\, their friends and family. $5 discount for volunteer RO’s. $5 for an extra gun\, second registration is required. Club members will get work hours and an additional discount for helping with set up and tear down\, Match Directors discretion on the amount of the discount based on work effort.\n** Please bring exact change\, if possible.**\n150 to 200 rounds should be enough.\n**Remember to squad yourself after registering on PractiScore by scrolling down to show squad\n=================================================\nIf you are a USPSA Range Officer\, please consider volunteering to be assigned to a squad\, so we can ensure RO coverage in each squad. To do so\, squad yourself in squad “RO Volunteer “.\nThe range is cold during match day.  Please use the CPL table and safety tables as per USPSA guidelines.\nCarry your PCC cased between stages. Carry your cased PCC to and from the starting area with muzzle up.\nYou must use a rigid holster that permits holstering of your firearm with one hand only. The holster must completely cover your gun’s trigger guard.\n*** If the match is full\,  you may still register and be put onto a waitlist.\nYou will do well if you follow current USPSA rules for the match. We will not bypass a DQ just because it’s a level 1 match!

DESCRIPTION:You will shoot a rimfire metallic silhouette match with NRA 1/5 scale targets - Chickens\, Pigs\, Turkeys\, and Rams\, ranging from 40 to 100 meters (44 to 109 yards).\nThe course of fire is done from benchrest position\, using benchrest or attached bipod\, and rear support bag. Prone position shooters shoot off crossed sticks with no rear support bags.\nWhat to Bring: Bolt action or semi auto rifle\, ammunition limited to .22LR. Ear & eye protection\, 70 to 100 rounds of target ammo\, bipod or benchrest and separate rear bag\, and spotting scope.\nScoring: One point for each target knocked over in the course of fire. Maximum score: 60 points\nMatch Scores are available via Practiscore Results: search for Payson Metallic Silhouette.\nTonto Rim Sports Club hosts a benchrest Metallic Silhouette match the fourth Saturday of each even-numbered month (February\, April\, June\, August\, October\, December). Set up begins at 7:30 am Summer and 8:30 am Winter\, on the Jim Jones shooting range High-Power range. Match is open to all ages and skill levels\, members and non-members alike. Juniors 18 and under\, must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Juniors should have had prior shooting experience and be able to follow a series of range commands while maintaining safe gun handling.
