DESCRIPTION:Safety REQUIREMENTS!\n- Long guns MUST be unloaded and have CHAMBER FLAGS at all times\, until the make ready command.  Competitors must bring their own flags\, the club or match staff is not responsible for supplying them.\n- Long guns MUST be kept cased and racked\, or on an approved cart muzzle down\, until bringing them to the line.  No sling carry as this typically results in sweeping yourself.\n- If you sweep anyone\, including yourself\, even if flagged\, it is a match disqualification.\n- Handguns must be holstered and unloaded at all times when not making ready or shooting a course of fire.\n- Before and during the match LGC is considered a “Cold Range”.  Handguns are to remain unloaded\, and holstered or cased\, unless under the direct supervision of a range officer or at a Safe Area. No handling loaded magazines or loose ammunition at a Safe Area. Violation will result in a Match Disqualification.\n- Finger must be off the trigger unless directly engaging a target.\nThis will be a time plus scored event.  We will have the following divisions:\nPistol Only - Any 9mm\, .40cal or .45cal  handgun (no braced PCC)\n    1. Iron Sight Division\n    2. Optic Division\nYou must engage all targets\, paper and steel\, with your pistol.\nPCC Only - Any magazine fed .22LR Rifle or PCC (9mm\, .40cal\, .45cal)\n    1. Iron Sight Division\n    2. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Long Gong at the Tonto Rim Sports Club\nAll you need is a scoped .22LR rifle\, a bipod and separate rear bag. And 50 rounds of ammo.\nWe’ll supply three gong targets: 8"\, 6"\, and 4"\nYou shoot from the bench\, and the targets are 300 yards down range.\nThe object is to score as many points as possible with those 50 rounds. You get 1 point for each hit on the 8"\, 2 points for the 6"\, and 3 points for each hit on the 4" steel gong.\nSince this is a risk/reward competition\, you shoot for the 8" first\, and if you hit it\, you may move to the 6". Hit that\, and you can move on to the 4". A miss on the 6" or 4" means that you move back to the previous gong\, and must hit it before moving on. Please try to be checked in by 9:45AM\, to allow time for the staff to balance squadding.\nIf you help set-up the day before the match\, or if you arrive early the day of to help setup\, or if you stay to help teardown and put everything away\, please make sure you sign the workers attendance sheet at the shed.\nNo match fee refunds except for extreme circumstances\nPCC Gun Handling\n• PCC can be transported from bay to bay in a case\, or carts and flagged. If in a cart the muzzle is reasonably vertical (pointing down)\, and a chamber flag is in place. A flagged carbine is treated the same as a holstered pistol\, except for sweeping rules.\n• Uncasing the carbine may be done in a safe area\, or against a side berm or backstop.\n• When a competitor is called to the line to shoot\, they may carry an empty\, with chamber flag\, PCC muzzle up or muzzle down\, or the PCC may be cased.\n• After "Hammer down and Flag"\, with an empty with chamber flag PCC\, the competitor can immediately re-case the PCC or carry the PCC as stated above. The PCC can then be carried to a side berm staging area well behind the firing line and placed back in a case or on a cart.
