A rifle sling is not mandatory\, but it behooves the shooter to have one on the rifle or a single point on the body.\nSCORING:\nFTE=15 second penalty. Failure to engage applies to any steel target not specifically shot at or knocked down on a stage. Falling steel must fall or it is an FTE penalty per instance.\nFTN=10 second penalty. Failure to neutralize is for paper targets only. Any paper target that has less than 2 hits or less than required hits per stage brief.\nNO SHOOT=30 second penalty.  No shoot penalty is per hit on a no shoot target and is cumulative.  10 hits on a no shoot is scored as 10 penalties.\nCOGS=60 second penalty.  This is for any infraction or failure to follow stage procedure as outlined in stage brief.
