SUMMARY:TCGC USPSA CC02 - October 18 2026
DESCRIPTION:**Shooters**\nSeven stages including a classifier.\nJunior - must be at least 8 years old\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\nPlease arrive by 8:00 am to help complete stage setup. Match briefing starts when setup is finished\, listen for the horn. Shooting starts when match briefing is complete.\nCompetitors will be asked to tear down the last stage.\n-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\nIf the match is full/waitlisted\, please feel free to register and expect to be able to shoot! Currently everyone on the waitlist gets into the match; we intentionally set the squad size a little low at first to make sure our squads stay balanced as people withdraw over the course of the week.\nA note regarding withdrawals: recently there has been a significant uptick in last-minute withdrawals and no-shows. This makes it very hard to use the waitlist to fill in and keep squads balanced\, damaging match flow and leading to frustrating stack-ups.\nHistorically\, due to credit card processing fees\, withdrawing from the match had incurred a $5 handling fee. We are trying something new this month: there will be *no* handling fee for withdrawal requests made *before* 5:59pm Pacific on Thursday night. Withdrawal requests made *after* that time will incur a *$10* handling fee\, up to the closure of registration. After 6pm on Friday there will be no refunds\, as has been the case. Our hope is that this incentivizes those who know they can’t make it to drop earlier\, allowing for better squad balancing and smoother-flowing matches; it also removes any disincentive to withdraw if things look doubtful and just re-register later if the schedule clears up. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation.\nSee you at the match!\n-Sean

DESCRIPTION:Intro to USPSA is a 4 stage match. \n$25 with a $5 discount for verified PRGC members.\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for C Classification or above.\nThe Practical Division is always happy to have new shooters at our USPSA matches but it is important that you be familiar with the rules and procedures before you shoot your first match.\nWe will cover specific rules and answer questions at the new shooter’s briefing before the match but the following general rules will keep you in compliance when you first arrive:\nA. Bring your unloaded gun to the match in a case or bag.\nB. Handle your gun only at one of these two approved times:\n1.	When in the marked safety areas. These areas are where you transfer the gun from your bag or case to your holster at the start of the match\, and where you return it to your bag or case when you are finished with the match.\n2.	When explicitly authorized by the RO when it is your turn to shoot a stage. You are allowed to handle your gun beginning with the “Make Ready “ command and ending with the “Range Is Clear” command.\nC. Do not bring ammunition into the safety areas.\nD. Guns are to be unloaded with no magazines in them at all times except for when you are the shooter and have been given the “Make Ready “ command. After the “Range Is Clear” command you are again subject to the unloaded gun requirement.

SUMMARY:SVSS October 18 2026 Steel Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Steel shooting is a sport in which competitors are required to combine speed and accuracy to successfully complete the match. SVSS uses all 8 of the official steel challenge stages. All the stages are 5 strings of 5 shots each\, exept "Outer Limits" which is four strings\, requiring the shooter to engage steel targets from 7 to 35 yards. The targets vary in size from 10"\, to 12" round targets and 18" x 24" rectangles. Sometimes a couple of stages are replaced with " outlaw" stages. There is no power factor like in USPSA\, IDPA\, and ICORE matches\, and the targets do not fall. You only need to hit the target.\nSCSA Steel Challenge is the only USPSA type action shooting discipline that allows .22 rimfire rifles and pistols.\nTwo guns per shooter allowed.\nNew Let's Go Brandon anti inflation rate\,\nFirst gun $25.00 second gun $15.00\nYear round\, Weather permitting..
