DESCRIPTION:Sharpshooters Indoor Range Bulls-Eye Match (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming into the store).\nNote: Due to SharpShooters range policy\, until further notice\, there will be no Centerfire Rifles greater than 223/556 allowed in any competitions at SharpShooters Indoor Range. The ammo for 223/556 must be 55 gr or less. PCC and 22LR rifles will be the only rifles\, carbines\, PDWs\, or SBRs allowed. Steel Core ammo has never been allowed\, and anyone caught shooting it in the SharpShooter Range will be banned for life.\nAll firearms will be shot offhand (unsupported). Slings (for rifles) and Shooting jackets are allowed.\nThe Bullseye match is a game of accuracy and mental clarity. All pistol shooters will shoot together at 5\, 10\, and 15 yards (Rifles 15\, 20 & and 25 yards). 10 rounds max per distance and 3 minutes max per distance. X-rings will be used to break tie scores. A free SharpShooters match/range pass will be awarded to each class winner. Divisions are 22 Rimfire Pistol\, 22 Rimfire Rifle\, Centerfire handgun\, and Restricted Centerfire rifle. There are no sighting system restrictions. Once shooters start to assemble in the bay\, no shooting or gun handling is allowed until instructed by the SO. Warm-up and gun handling can only be done in the adjacent bay. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page.\nRemember that this is an unsupported shooting match. You cannot lean against any of the structures in the room.  We ask that you back away from the stall table 3"-6" while keeping the firearm within the stall walls. Minimum Equipment: Rifles must have a chamber flag installed when not in a rifle case. Pistol or Revolver\, Holster or pouch\, 3 mags (one mag is OK\, you'll have to reload between strings) loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. You may shoot in up to 3 divisions\, but you must sign up separately for them. There will be a $5 fee for any or all additional divisions. If you need to make ready\, check your equipment please do at C Bay (lanes 11-15).\nPlease make sure you fill out an waiver once you enter the building\, and payment is required in order to register and squad.\nThis match will be using PCSL rules and scoring\, with little exceptions to divisions.\nDivisions:\nCompetition (COMP): 2011s/SA/DA pistols. Striker fired guns are welcome too. Other than magazine extensions restrictions (no magazines length past 171.25mm). Other than that no restrictions. Compensators\, porting\, red dots and flash lights are permitted.\nPractical Optics (PO): Striker fired pistols (usually full size) as well as SA/Da pistols. Compensators and porting is not allowed. But magwells\, flashlights\, and lasers are allowed. \nFactory (FACT): Striker fired pistols as well as SA/DA pistols as well. Irons sights ONLY\, no red dot sights.  Magwells are allowed\, but porting/compensators are not. Look forward to over 1\,000 acres of unique terrain and great shooting locations.\nRun n Gun is a 2-gun biathlon. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol over a predetermined course of fire ranging in distance.\nEach competitor is assigned a unique start time to enter the course. Re-supplying once on the course is not permitted.\nCompetitors will encounter several stages to shoot at throughout the course. These stages may be rifle only\, pistol only\, or a combination of the two.\nEach stage has a unique layout including varying numbers of targets and distances to the targets. Competitors must be able to adapt to the stage\, target size\, and distance on their own in order to complete the stages.\nGenerally\, pistol targets will range from 15-50 yards; while rifle targets will range from 75-700 yards.\nCompetitors will be put in unique situations and positions that will require engaging targets they might not be accustomed to. Additionally\, some stages might require movement\, or transitions from one position/weapon to another. Safety is paramount. Competitors and ROs will ensure that shooters are moving with the safety on\, finger off the trigger\, and muzzle down range. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.\nWhile running on the course\, rifles will not be loaded or have a mag inserted. SUMMARY:Blue Ridge BRSC Falling Steel September 18-19
DESCRIPTION:The match consists of 5 stages with each stage having 21-30 steel targets that must fall to be counted.\nHandguns are limited to 10 rounds in the magazine unless in the Open Unlimited division while PCC’s have unlimited magazine capacity. There are no par times or ammo limits. Shoot until you knock all targets down or you run out of ammo. Pistol calibers only! This is a centerfire match; rimfires will not reliably knock the steel down. All targets are 8” diameter or larger total square inches and placed 10-20 yards from the shooter’s table. Start position is with safety engaged and muzzle touching the table. No holster draws to start. Reloads can come off the table or off the belt. Guns need to be bagged or holstered until the “Make ready” command is issued by the range safety officer. This is a cold range. Eye and ear protection is required for all competitors and spectators. Unsafe acts will not be tolerated.\nGun divisions include:\nSA-Stock auto: iron sights and no compensators\nOA-Open auto: Any sights\, optics and compensators are allowed\nOU-Open Unlimited: any sights\, optics\, comps allowed.
