DESCRIPTION:22LR Falling Steel Match at Sharpshooters Indoor Range (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete to knock down five 6"x 8" steel plates from their respective sides\, using only 22LR Rifles or Pistols\, 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5 up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 16 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 2 separate divisions\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Pistol (any sighting system). A free match pass is presented to each division winner. Sponsored shooters are not eligible. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page. Minimum Equipment: Rifle must have a safety flag\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. Pistol in a safely secured container (Holster\, Range Tray\, Range Bag\, or zippered gun rug)\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection.\nYou may sign up for 2 divisions. There will be a $5 fee for a second division.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with another 10 rds to break the tie. If all plates are knocked down in a tie\, 2 plates will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. A flagged carbine is treated the same as a holstered pistol\, except for sweeping rules.\n• Uncasing the carbine may be done in a safe area\, or against a side berm or backstop.\n• When a competitor is called to the line to shoot\, they may carry an empty\, with chamber flag\, PCC muzzle up or muzzle down\, or the PCC may be cased.\n• After "Hammer down and Flag"\, with an empty with chamber flag PCC\, the competitor can immediately re-case the PCC or carry the PCC as stated above. The PCC can then be carried to a side berm staging area well behind the firing line and placed back in a case or on a cart.

DESCRIPTION:BCGC IDPA – Monthly Match Schedule & Details\nIDPA matches are held at the Jim Starr Long Range:\n•	1st Thursday of every month\n•	3rd Saturday during even months (February\, April\, June\, August\, October\, December)\nSummer Hours\n•	7:30 AM – Setup & Check-in\n•	8:15 AM – New Competitor Meeting (Required for first-time participants)\n•	9:00 AM – Safety Briefing\nMatch Format\n•	BCGC IDPA matches consist of four (4) stages\, requiring 80–100 rounds per match.\n•	First-time competitors must attend the New Competitor meeting to participate.\n•	We operate a Cold Range\, meaning firearm handling is only permitted in designated Safe Areas or under direct supervision of a Safety Officer (SO). The parking lot is part of the cold range area; therefore\, firearms may NOT be handled in the parking lot.\n•	Please follow proper safety procedures at all times to avoid a match disqualification.\n•	As an IDPA-affiliated club\, BCGC will be adhering to the recent prohibition of the SIG Sauer P320 at all BCGC IDPA\, Steel Challenge and Outlaw pistol matches.\nEntry Fees\n•	$10 – BCGC Members\n•	$20 – Non-Members\nDirections\nBCGC IDPA matches are held on the Jim Starr Long Range berm\, located behind the target pit at the far end of the range. To reach it\, drive past the Gatekeeper booth and the short-range area\, continuing onto the long-range road. Stay on that road as it curves around the log cabin (Stat House)\, and continue on road around the target pit to the berm.\nStay informed by checking the BCGC.us website for schedule updates or changes. DESCRIPTION:We welcome you to South Central New Mexico for the Area 2 Steel Challenge Championship.\nThis is an SCSA Level III Championship Match. ALL 8 official stages will be shot. A sight-in bay will be available. NOTE: You MUST be a SCSA Member on the first day of the match to shoot.\nWe are in the desert Southwest so plan for dry heat.  We will have shade for the shooting boxes and there will be some shade for waiting competitors.
