This is not common and usually done well in advance due to CAF Range requirements.\n- Because we shoot on a Military Range\, Range Control can shut us down for a high Fire Index\, Lightning or Storm Warning etc. This is out of our control\, and there is no refund in that scenario. I have seen it happen only once in the last 10 years\, but it’s part of shooting on a Military Range\, and must be stated.

SUMMARY:Turtle Creek Close Combat Match
DESCRIPTION:This will be a 10 Stage\, Tier 2 match featuring all divisions except PCC. Our primary emphasis with this match is close combat shooting with all targets 10 yards or less and 16 rounds max per string of fire. Although the match is open to all divisions except PCC\, our primary emphasis is BUG. For this reason\, we are offering BUG Optic as a Specialty Division(SPD). Sign up using your current BUG classification. Bug-O will use the CO Power Factor of 125. There will be no chrono for this match. BUG Optic loading will be 10+1. At the Match we will recognize BUG Optic as a Specialty Division and award trophies within this SPD. IDPA does not currently recognize BUG-O as a division\, after the Match all BUG Optic shooters will have their SPD changed to CO for submission to IDPA for points credit. Staff will shoot on Saturday and competitors will shoot on Sunday. 4 Squads of 10 in the morning and 4 squads of 10 in the afternoon. Awards will be after the afternoon squads finish. Lunch will be provided. This Match is a great opportunity for your final "Tune-Up" before Nationals.\nSee You At The Range\nRon Porter\nMatch Director\n419-460-1670

SUMMARY:PMRPC Multi Gun - 2026 Sept 20th
DESCRIPTION:PMRPC's Multigun gun (rifle\, pistol and optional shotty match)\, with five (four in the summer) or more stages\, every ODD month at Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club. We are irreverent and don’t report to any alphabet soup organization coordinators/directors or need to divine our founders’ intent. This allows us the freedom to do whatever we damn well please! That said\, outside of safety\, we are not a fan of rules. We keep them to a minimum and stupidly simple. Scoring is Time Plus\, USPSA classic targets are pistol only while metric are rifle only. A healthy dose of head shots are smattered about to keep things from becoming a hose fest. If the mood strikes us\, an occasional plate rack or clays. Our Stages are short to mid-range and offer challenges to competitors of all skill levels.\nRegistration opens at 8:00 am\nRegistration closes at 8:40 am SHARP\nShooters' brief at 8:50 am\nFirst shots at 9:00 am

SUMMARY:NTxR League 22LR Long Gong
DESCRIPTION:Range will open at 8am to check your zero and shoot in the cold bore challenge if you wish. It will be a $5 side pot with one cold bore shot\, at 250 yards. Whoever is closest to the orange dot will win all the money. The Long Gong match fee is $40. We will use the standard Long Gong rules and format. (BELOW)\nTHE GAME-This is a 300yd shoo ng challenge using rifles chambered in 22lr only. The object is to shoot the highest score possible. THE TARGET- The targets are AR400 3/16” thick rimfire gongs\, an 8”\, a 6”\, and a 4” gong. Each gong has a value\, 1 point for the 8”\, 2 points for the 6”\, and 3 points for the 4” gong. THE SETUP- From a bench rest (limited to bipods and bags\, no sleds) each shooter\, with 10 rounds of ammunition begins by shoo ng for the 8” gong. The shooter has a 3-minute me limit to complete their round\, the clock starts with their first shot. THE ORDER- If the shooter hits the 8”\, they score 1 point and now can choose to advance to the 6” gong or continue shootong for the 8” gong. If the shooter advances to the 6” gong and connects\, that hit is worth 2 points\, and they now can choose to shoot for the 4” gong. EXAMPLE-(Dave shoots and hits the 8” gong\, scoring 1 point. Dave says he’s going to shoot for the 6”\, he hits it scoring 2 more points. Dave says he’s going for the 4” gong\, shoots and misses scoring a zero\, and now must move back to the 6” gong. If Dave misses his shot on the 6”\, he will score another zero and be forced to move back to the 8” gong. If Dave hits the 6” he’ll score 2 points and again have the opportunity to shoot at the 4” gong.) THE RULES-The shooter must tell the scorekeeper when they switch gongs. A hit only counts if it’s a solid gong hit\, chain hits do not count. If the shooter misses\, they must go back one gong. If the shooter shoots the wrong gong\, it counts as a zero and the shooter must resume shoo ng on the correct gong. THE SCORE- The score is totaled a er each shooter\, with a possible high score of 27 points (1+2+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3=27). A complete game has every shooter fire 5 complete sets for a total of 50 rounds of ammunition on (1 full box). The highest possible score for a competition is 135 points. In case of a e score\, the winner is determined by the shooter with the highest single round score. THE COMPETITORS- The order of the shooters in the first set is determined by drawing numbered chips\, and in each successive set the order of the shooters is determined by the scores\, with the lowest score shoo ng first. If two or more shooters have identical scores\, whoever shot the score in ally will shoot first in the following round. (If Tom shoots an 11\, and then Dave also shoots an 11\, Tom will go before Dave in the following round.) THE CHALLENGE- Hi ng gongs at 300yds with a 22lr is challenging. Hi ng them repeatedly under changing conditions requires all the fundamentals used by the best long-distance shooters in the world. Do you think you have what it takes?\nIt is official‼️\nWe will be shooting four divisions in all of our TYL Matches\, and long gong matches from now on.\nOpen division \,run what your\nBrung\nProduction division\, your rifle and scope MSRP cannot exceed $1800.\nSemi auto division\, bring them on\nVintage division\, anything manufactured before 1991.
