Revolvers. Red Dot or Iron Sights.\nRequired: Eye and hearing protection.\nObjective and course of fire: Clear the tables as quickly as possible. Range: 21 Ft.\n6- tables per shooter per set. (Typically 2-3 sets per night.) Then head down to the competition bays to be present for the safety briefing.\nAll participants are expected to assist with match teardown\n***A RIFLE SLING AND AN L2 RETENTION HOLSTER ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE ***\nThis is a close-quarters style shooting competition utilizing handguns\, rifles\, and shotguns.  All engagements are presented at CQB distances.  Rifle targets can be a mixture of steel and cardboard depending on distance.  Pistol targets are Cardboard and static steel targets.  Shotgun targets are steel knock-downs without springs.  Pistol and rifle targets are of realistic size (~16” x 24”).  Shotgun targets must be knocked down.  Misses may be made up and there is no penalty for extra rounds placed on targets.  Round Counts per stage can be between 10-20 Pistol\, 15-30 rifle\, and 5-7 shotgun. If you don't have or want to use a shotgun\, you may engage the shotgun targets with pistol.\nThis sport provides for a vast number of different firearm options to engage the courses of fire.  A course of fire (stage) will present a shooting problem that might have several creative solutions that require the employment of handgun\, rifle\, and shotgun.\nCategories are based around the gear and equipment selected not weapons or competitor experience/shooting skill.  This eliminates the need for “qualifier” stages and the possibility of “sand-bagging” for competitive advantage.  This was chosen under the philosophy that all competitors can\, and should\, hone their skills to be faster and more precise combat shooters regardless of their skill level.\nThis is a close quarters style shooting sport.  As such\, it is not meant to be a foot race or acrobatics contest.  Movement\, shooting on the move\, and shooting positions are of tactical importance but in a close-quarters environment\, 25-yard sprints are not common occurrences and competitors are required to be rolling around in the mud.  Short distances between shooting positions and negotiating obstacles/barriers while working a shooting problem are the goals. DESCRIPTION:Guan Ho Ha Action Pistol is open to anyone interested in participating in simulated “real-world” courses of fire that combine speed and accuracy while shooting at multiple targets made of steel or cardboard. Participants will be scored based on their speed and accuracy in completing these courses. The goal is for individuals to compete against themselves as well as each other\, all within a stress-free\, controlled environment.\nPlease note that walk-ons are not permitted.\n$20 for members and non-members. Non-members must sign a waiver or have a number from a previous waiver.\nThis is a cold range. Please do not arrive at the parking lot with your pistol loaded\, holstered\, or holster your gun in the parking lot. Proceed to the safe table where an RSO will check that your pistol is clear and will give you approval to holster it at that time.\nRequired Equipment\n- Eye and ear protection for all shooters and spectators.\n- Revolvers and semi-automatic handguns of .380 caliber or larger.\n- Outside-the-waistband holster. We always appreciate help building stages Saturday starting at 1:00\nYou must complete the USI liability waiver online before match day\, this involves watching a short video and taking an online test. Waiver is located at Unitedsportsmen.com/waive\nPlease arrive early so we can start on time. Registration opens at 0800 and closes at 0830 hours. Shooters meeting at 0855 and we start shooting at 0900 hours.\nStage design and builders: We are always in need of helpers to build and design stages. The setup will be on the Saturday before the match. Helpers should arrive at 1pm.\nTo participate in a match at the Diablo Pistol Action range you must have successfully completed our Orientation/Safety Class or have a current USPSA /IDPA /SCSA/ICORE classification above the level of "U". In addition\, each participant needs to bring or have a photo of a current  USI waiver range card ("Orange" card) to shoot at the range.  If you do not have a current card\, go to https://unitedsportsmen.com/waiver/ for more information\, watch the videos and take the online quiz prior to the class. We can issue current waiver cards at the class if you have completed the online portion. If you are unable to attend after registering be sure to withdraw at least 48 hours prior to the start of the match if requesting a refund\, credit card company fees processing fees will not be refunded.

Guns are to be unloaded with no magazines in them at all times except for when you are the shooter and have been given the “Make Ready “ command.
