DESCRIPTION:Back up gun match intended for small pistols and revolvers.  Shooters using full sized handguns will be limited to 5 rounds at the start of each stage and 5 round reloads.  Match consists of 4 stages\, round count is modest (50 rounds is normally enough)\, and holsters are not required .\nFor additional details\, see match description at the Pima Pistol Club web site--rules and stage/match design is unique and not otherwise affiliated with other standardized match types.\nWhen signing up on Practice score\, please also SQUAD yourself with those you intend to shoot\, although we may need to adjust actual SQUAD placement the morning of the match to keep things balanced.  If specific shooters want to shoot together we'll do our best to accommodate them.\nLastly\, because the attendance of this match (and others) has grown\, sign up is limited and all shooters can only enter once for the competition (no multiple registration). Stages focus on plausible\, real-world tactical scenarios. Penalties are stiff\, so striking the balance between accuracy and speed is essential.\nNew shooters should read through the Tactical 2 Gun (T2G) rulebook linked below prior to match day: \n\n\n\n\n			\n								\n \n																			\nTypical round count is 150 primary\, 75 secondary. DESCRIPTION:3 Gun returns to Sheridan Wyoming at Sheridan County Sportsmen's Association Pistol Pit Complex.  Match sign-in\, match day payment\, and set-up will begin at 8:00AM\, all those wishing to help set-up are always welcomed. For this match we will be doing some things differently\, as we will be using traditional USPSA hit factor scoring rather than "time plus". Since 3 gun also takes longer we will have a smaller registration list than our usual 5 stage USPSA matches on Saturdays. No second entries either. We will also have a dedicated "Box Fed" division above open division for people wanting to bring their rifles chambered in 12 gauge and shoot with people shooting shotguns. Expect to shoot 4 stages as well.  \nThere will be a mandatory safety briefing at 10:00AM and the match will begin\nWe will shoot 4 original and exciting USPSA stages that we have crafted along with 1 classifier stage.\nMinimum round count for the match is undetermined as of (7/6/26)\, please come back here in the future for a round count.\nThe match will follow USPSA Rules. Shooters are responsible for being in compliance with equipment requirements mandated by the rules for the division they choose to shoot in.  Current USPSA rules are here:  https://uspsa.org/rules\nAs a safety precaution for all of our shooters\, registrants we are not familiar with will be contacted to verify they have appropriate familiarity with safety aspects of the match before being allowed to shoot in the match.\nMatch pre-payment is possible using the credit card payment option. It is SPS preference that shooters choose this option as it simplifies match-day administration.  Credit card payment does not have to be made at time of registration but must be made by returning to your personal Practiscore match page and paying prior to match day.\nRefunds for cancellations will be given on your credit card account.  Alternatively\, cancellations of paid registrations can be credited to a future SPS match pending availability of upcoming matches.  Contact SPS if you need to cancel a paid registration. The group at Forest Grove are easy-going and more than happy to welcome both new- and guest-shooters.\nThis is a .22lr event shooting off of various barricades and props\, at target sizes ranging from .25" to 6" at varying distances.\nNo rifle\, no ammo? No problem! We understand that this is an expensive shooting sport to begin with\, and acquiring gear up front can be intimidating and costly. We are able to provide a loaner rifle\, supplementary ammunition and any other necessary gear for first-time shooters. We are happy to offer this for the first few matches for new shooters\, though please do not abuse our charity!
