SUMMARY:2026 Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle Competition Clone
DESCRIPTION:We are proud to bring you the 2026 Koenig-Ruger Precision Rifle Competition. This will be a two-day Precision Rifle Series Match and will be open to any competitor chasing the series or marksman/hunter wanting to hone their long-range skills in a natural hunting-type environment. This match will be utilizing the picturesque landscape found at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Grand Junction\, Colorado. The weekend will consist of a 2-day long range rifle competition and an optional one day “tune up”\, where competitors can train on the natural terrain props similar to the ones that will be utilized for the match and confirm data out to 2000+ yards.\nIn association with the Precision Rifle Series and Title sponsor Sturm\, Ruger & Co.\, the event draws those from across the country who wish to compete against the nation’s best professionals\, military operators and the many new shooters who are joining our discipline.\nThis will be a field-style event using all-natural terrain and steel animal-shaped targets engaged from practical\, realistic shooting positions. Expect NO gimmicks and realistic timelines at this event. The course of fire will be spread over approx. 3.5 miles of beautiful mountains and valleys. UTV vehicles will be utilized to move through the COF. The tandem match directors of Doug Koenig and Keith Baker take pride in hosting a professional and efficient championship-style match. The course of fire tests and trains disciplines from across law enforcement\, military and practical marksman spectrums.\nCompetitors can expect engagements from 300-1200+ yards with an assortment of steel\, reactive and automated moving targets. Target size will vary in difficulty based on the shooter’s position\, distance\, props used and time allotted. Most stages will include “stressors”\, either time and/or movement. All scoring will be transparent and balanced in order to reward the most consistent shooters. The competition requires approximately 200 rounds plus zero/tune-up ammo to complete the course of fire and is caliber restricted to 300 Win-Mag and below. The course of fire will be made public at the start of the competition.\nLunch will be provided for the competitors at their stages each day.\nRegistration for this match is non-refundable\, but you are welcome to sell your slot up until two weeks prior to the start of the match (deadline is March 29\, 2026). SUMMARY:Night Shoot Jamboree
DESCRIPTION:PRICE:\n$20 – members\n$30 – non members\nNight vision and suppressors are NOT required \nNight Shoot Jamboree is an event series where people of all experience levels can come practice their skills and equipment at night. Rather than formal scoring and competing\, this series will primarily focus on elemental building blocks of shooting at night\, while adding a bit of friendly pressure via head to head competitions\, or zero pressure with solo courses of fire\, within the same event.\nThe range will be set up with courses of fire allowing you to use your weapon mounted flashlights or night vision.\nEvery participant will be required to wear personal illumination. Your fee will include the use of range-supplied chemlights\, but if you have your own visible-light beacon or strobe you’d prefer to use\, that is acceptable. The chemlight or strobe must be worn/activated for the entire shoot and must be visible 360 degrees.\nIf you bring a rifle\, it must have a sling. If you bring a pistol you must have a quality holster that will retain it during physical activities. It’s strongly encouraged that you have the ability to carry at least one spare magazine each.\nIF YOU ARE NOT ON-SITE AND SIGNED-IN BY THE START OF THE SAFETY BRIEF\, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE. Anyone arriving after the start of the safety brief will be turned away.\n4pm stage setup\n5:30-6:30 registration\n6:45pm safety brief\n7pm event begins\n10:00pm clean up \nEstimated round count:\n-However much you want to bring

SUMMARY:SSD Short Range Match - 11 April 26
DESCRIPTION:Hi Everyone:\nThe next Sensible Self Defense Academy Short Range Match is Saturday\, 11 April 2026\nCedar Ridge Range\, 7110 Farm to Market 1863\, Bulverde\, TX 78163\nPlease note the start time is 4:30 pm.\nCHECK-IN: 3:45 pm – 4:15 pm\nWe welcome walk in registration if you decide to attend at the last minute.\nSet up crew please arrive at 2:45 pm. Very important — No set up crew\, no match. Please send me a note if you can assist with set up.\nCASH ONLY – Cost is $30.00 for one gun; shooting a second gun or shooting the match twice is an extra $10.00.\nPlease Note: This is not an IDPA Match–Practiscore essentially forces us to use the IDPA scoring format and lists it as such.\nWe will close Check-In at 4:15. If you are running late\, that’s OK. Please call or text me and I will leave you on the match roster. As a courtesy to other shooters\, please withdraw if you cannot attend.\nEQUIPMENT: You need your pistol\, 3 magazines (minimum)\, a holster\, and magazine carrier. Revolver shooters need the equivalent for their pistols.\nYou may also shoot a Pistol Caliber Carbine (PCC) in 22 LR\, 9mm\, 10mm\, .40 S&W\, .45 ACP\, 44 Magnum\, .357 Magnum\, or 30 Carbine. These calibers ONLY–no .556\, .300 Blk Out\, etc. Please bring it in a case or cart.\nIf you wish you may shoot pistol caliber manual rifle. Manual rifles will only need to place one “zero” down hit to neutralize the target for some stages.\nAmmunition: Less than 150 rounds depending upon how you shoot the match.\nFor More Information or Questions: ericlamberson@sensibleselfdefense.com\nShort-Range Course of Fire \nThe Short Range Match uses IDPA-style scoring and follows IDPA safety principles; however\, generally no target will be greater than 15 yards away from the shooter. Most stages are based upon a real-life event that was recorded on video and adapted for a square range. Otherwise\, it is a regular course of fire\, with some stages requiring a reload. When I send out the match results I include a link to the video of the events from that match. The idea is for the shooter to solve the problem and then view the video of the actual event to understand how it happened in real-life. \nThe short-range course of fire match seeks to replicate real life scenarios where you are more likely to use carry-suitable handguns. The match’s guiding principle is to improve concealed carry skills. Ideally\, shooters will use a pistol they carry to shoot the match. All pistols may be loaded to magazine capacity; however\, the match may have some reloads on the clock or some malfunction drills. \nShooters may use any belt holster and magazine carrier/speed loader carrier suitable for carrying the pistol concealed. Shooters may reload from the pocket; however\, no drawing a pistol from the pocket\, a fanny pack\, shoulder holster\, etc. If in doubt\, please ask. \nFor More Information or Questions: \nericlamberson@sensibleselfdefense.com\n210-571-1617\nRegards\, Eric
