DESCRIPTION:Eagle Eye Challenge is designed to test your skills in a timed\, moving and shooting competition. The courses of fire will challenge you mentally and physically. Shooters will engage targets from behind cover or from a seated position\, while also having to perform magazine changes. Your final time will be based upon hits and misses.\nSuggested Items:\n1 firearm\n2 boxes of ammo\n3 magazines\nHearing and eye protection\nLong sleeve shirts and pants\nEquipment:\nIron sights or red dot optics\n3 magazines\nAmmunition:\nStandard commercial and reloaded ammunition is permitted.\nAny type of ammunition designed for penetrating metal is NOT permitted.\nIf you are using a rental thru the SSEC you must purchase our ammunition to use thru it.\nNo steel jacketed\, steel shot\, or steel core bullets permitted.\nNo tracer\, incendiary\, armor piercing\, gas or explosive ammunition is permitted.\n**Everyone must be present for the safety brief which will take place 15 minutes prior to the timing round.\nNote for those who have competed in an Eagle Eye before who are not familiar with the changes made for the Red Dot competition:\nGeneral course of fire may be altered.\nRed dot optics are PERMITTED.\nCompetitors who wish to compete without a red dot may do so. Please note that the course of fire may be designed for red dot shooters and there will not be a separate division for iron sights. Target size and style will vary\, from ricochet free knock down “plates”\, dueling trees\, and “pepper poppers” to silhouettes.  For steel targets such as our Texas Star\, shooters must have frangible ammo.  Frangible ammo is available in 9mm at the range during normal business hours. You will only ever need a single box of frangible ammo per night if we are shooting at steel.\nThere are no restrictions on the barrel length of the pistol and accessories to include scopes and other optics.

DESCRIPTION:No walk-in shooters; must pre-register on PractiScore. Five digit gate code will be sent to competitors from the match’s PractiScore email list by no later than afternoon of match. Setup starts 5:00 PM. 6:15 PM sign in commences. Safety meeting 6:30 PM. 12 persons per squad max; no 2nd gun option. Fee $15/ $10 OCR&GC mbr. 4-6 stages\, under IDPA current Rulebook for Tier 1 matches planned. Bring exact change for match fee. Cash or check only. Flashlight may be required to shoot some stages and is advised to navigate balance of facility as light leaves. Weapon mounted light permitted in IDPA approved divisions under IDPA rules. Bring your own seating and beverages. In the event of match cancellation\, due to weather or other\, an email will be sent by no later than 2 PM match day\, to all registered via PractiScore based email. Use of holsters in the appendix position not approved at Oil Capital R&GC.  IDPA HQ prohibits Sig P320 pistols or any derivative thereof in IDPA matches or events.
