SUMMARY:Flagstaff Action Shooters USPSA for August
DESCRIPTION:Time for another USPSA match in the High Country\nArrive thirty minutes early for check-in\, or ninety minutes early to help with set up.\nThe match will be at Prevail Training Center\, and the fee will be $15 for FAS members\, $25 for non-members. Membership is $50 per year. Kids shoot free. This is payable at the range\, cash or check. We do NOT use PractiScore membership.\nDirections to Prevail Training Center: http://flagstaffactionshooters.org/location\nEye and ear protection are required\, even for spectators\, and you must be present at the safety briefing at the start of the match to participate. All shooters and observers must sign a waiver.\nWe operate under cold range rules. Do not exit your vehicle with a loaded weapon. The only time we handle firearms is at a "safe table" (without ammo)\, or at the at the firing line under the direction of a safety officer. Firearms remain unloaded until the safety officer directs the participant to "make ready."\nNo SERPA or other trigger finger release holsters (unless permanently disabled and allowed by the match director or range master).\nPlan on a total round count of ~100-150\, many of us bring at least 200 rounds to be safe (or because we miss a lot).\nNOTE TO NEW SHOOTERS: You must have attended our Introduction to Action Shooting class. If you have not\, please email the Match Director to arrange for a briefing before the match.\nIf you are interested in the rules or further information\, here is a link to the rules: https://uspsa.org/viewer/2024-USPSA-Competition-Rules.pdf

SUMMARY:DRRC Rimfire 2 Gun
DESCRIPTION:Welcome\nThis will be the Quarterly .22 Rim Fire Challenge 2 Gun Event.\nYou will need a Pistol and Rifle in .22 Caliber. Bring around 300 rounds.\nOn this event\, you will shoot both your Pistol and Rifle on each array. You will shoot this 5 times. We will throw out your slowest time. Your time will consist of the accumulation of your 4 fastest times for each array.\nThis event is a moving event. We try to make it a great entry into learning Practical Pistol and 3 Gun\nSafety is very important\, as you will change from Pistol to Rifle on the timer on a HOT firearm. Keeping your barrel pointed down range at all times.\nUnlike Practical Pistol\, we will only shoot steel. No Paper scoring.\nTarget are from 5" to 18x24" Distance from 10 yards\, to 50 yards. This is a thinking match as each stage has very specific instructions you must follow. Errors will cost you Time Points.\nThis is a lot of fun and will really help you prepare for Practical Pistol or Multi-gun matches.\nEnjoy\nPaul

SUMMARY:No Man's Land Shootout - Night Match
DESCRIPTION:The No Man's Land Shootout is a carbine centric\, Time Plus (Points) match held around the Beaver\, OK area. Each month\, the match will feature a mix of cardboard and steel with some fun and challenging mechanics to keep things interesting. For the night match\, distances will generally range from 5 yards to 200 yards or anywhere in between. Five stages are to be expected. We're always growing and learning\, but we have been hosting matches for over two years now and feel we've really established a quality product. Our goal is to BE SAFE and have fun! We're shooting\, no cancelations\, in any condition short of a blizzard\, tornado\, lighting\, dust storm\, or a torrential downpour.\nRound counts range from 70 to 125 rounds but bringing some extra rounds is recommended in case of misses. At least two magazines may be required for mandatory reloads on various stages. A means to hold your spare magazine / magazines will be handy (pocket\, belt\, chest rig\, plate carrier).\n***NIGHT MATCH***\nThe night match will be very similar to our usual match procedure\, rules\, and safety consideration\, just at night. Safety will be even more important due to the lack of light. Some extra precaution will be taken to ensure a safe match. Shooters will be provided with a chem light to visibly affix to their body for identification purposes. All shooters are encouraged to bring a headlamp or small flashlight to help paste targets and search through their gear. Night Vision devices or white lights are NOT PROVIDED for the match. This is a BYOB type of situation\, and you must rely on whatever equipment you bring.\nDivisions:\nCenterfire - any centerfire rifle or pistol equipped with a stabilizing brace chambered in 5.45x39 or greater.\nPCC/22lr - any pistol caliber carbine\, rimfire pistol equipped with a stabilizing brace\, or rimfire rifle.\nClasses:\nWhite light - ability to view targets is provided by a weapon mounted white light.\nNight Vision - ability to view targets is provided by a night vision device. SUMMARY:2026 Michigan State IDPA Championship
DESCRIPTION:NOTE:\nThe International Defensive Pistol Association\, Inc. (IDPA)\, in response to numerous reports and videos\, is immediately prohibiting the use of the SIG Sauer P320 in all of it’s variants from any competition or event under the name of IDPA. All other SIG Sauer models may be used in the division appropriate for their configuration.\nThe goal of IDPA is safety first for our members\, competitors\, staff and spectators and all others associated with any IDPA event. While we have no direct knowledge of the potential technical defect of the weapon system\, the volume of ranges\, organizations and military units declaring a problem has made it too visible to deny. We will re-evaluate this decision in the future if new credible information emerges.\n“IDPA is committed to maintaining a fair\, competitive\, and inclusive environment for all shooters\,” said IDPA President Joyce Wilson. “Banning a particular firearm is the last thing we ever want to do as an organization\, but the safety of our members and potential spectators has to come first.”\nThe 2026 Michigan State IDPA Championship will be held at our outdoor range located at\n14340 Hogan Rd. Linden\, MI 48451\nSUNDAY ONLY - August 9\, 2026\n(Staff shoots on Saturday\, August 8)\nWe have a limited number of shooter spots available on Staff day. Please reach out to the MD if you would like to shoot on Saturday.\nRegistration opens on January 12th and closes on July 1st.\n**I have extended registration until July 8**\nShooters can waitlist after registration closes.\nNo shirt guarantee after July 1st.\nRefund Policy: Refund for withdraw will be Match price minus $10 to cover the fees we are charged when payment is made. No refunds after July 1st.\nAll divisions and classifications are welcome at the Match. Appendix carry is allowed.\nYou must be a current IDPA member with a current classification in the division you are shooting.\nNo division changes after registration closes.\nClassification changes as needed. If your classification changes\, please either update your registration or reach out to the MD.\nRules: Current IDPA Rulebook\nClub Rules: For the duration of the Match\, the club has been designated a Cold Range. PCCs require a chamber flag and will be carried to and from the line muzzle up. Muzzles over the berm will result in a DQ with the exception being revolvers during a reload. A dropped firearm anywhere on club property is Match DQ.\nWe have limited seating benches on some of our bays. A portable chair would be a good idea\, as well as a wagon/cart. The bays are fairly close together\, but there is still a little walking between rows.\nSnacks and water will be available on the bays throughout the day. The meal will be served after the match during the one hour protest period. If you would like a guest meal\, please indicate that below.\nStages: 11 + Chrono\nRound Count: 200ish (including chrono)\nTentative Schedule:\nStaff Arrival: 7:00am - 7:15am\nCheck in and Mandatory Equipment Check: 7:30am - 8:15am\nStaff Meeting: 8:30am\nShooters Meeting: 8:45am\nShooting Begins: 9:00am\nWe have some rustic camping available (grassy area on the trap field\, or in the parking lot - no hookups).
