SUMMARY:Wednesday October 21st  Ladies Only Defensive Pistol Match at Johns Creek Indoor Gun Range
DESCRIPTION:This will be a Ladies Only event. Cost is $20 which you pay when you get to the range. This match is designed to introduce lady shooters to the fun and practicality of our defensive pistol matches.\nThe following information should answer most questions but please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions or clarifications.\nA)	This is YOUR event\, take advantage of the opportunity.\nB)	This is event is open to Ladies Only.\nC)	Sign in and set up will begin at 5pm with first shots typically at 5:30pm. We are packed up and out the door at 8pm.\nD)	The cost for the event will be $20 per shooter. This includes your range time. The only additional cost is your ammunition.\nE)	75 rounds of ammunition will be sufficient.\nF)	We know traffic can be a challenge so if you are running late just relax\, we will work you in when you get here.\nG)	You may shoot any type of pistol you own. This event is specifically designed to INTRODUCE you to the sport. You do not need to purchase additional equipment beforehand.\nH)	Drawing from the holster is certainly allowed but it is not required.\nI)	All guns should be in a gun case or gun bag and DO NOT come out of the bag except under direction of a Safety Officer. (If you have shot a GADPA match before please follow our normal rules for gun handling)\nJ)	If you have spare magazines for your pistol please bring them.\nK)	Please wear a hat with a brim or a visor.\nPlease watch our safety video and brief rules discussion by clicking the link below. The first 6 minutes discusses our safety rules and procedures. Again\, if you do not have a holster do not worry\, we will work around it. \n\n\n\n\n\n			\n								\n \n																			\n \nSelect any division and power factor below\, we can change onsite as required. Set up begins at 5pm and first shots as soon as we set up. New Shooters\, please arrive no later than 5:00 PM for a new shooter briefing. Given the current ammo situation the match will be designed around a total limit of 50 rounds. If we have time we may shoot more  drills if you want to but it will not be scored.

DESCRIPTION:The Intown Atlanta IDPA match is a Level I match usually with four (4) stages and a cutoff of 32 shooters. Please arrive early at the range\, pay your match fee at the range check-in desk and help set up\, which starts about 5 p.m. all help is welcome. Please have your kit on and be ready for a shooter meeting at 5:50 p.m. so we can start promptly at 6 p.m.\nLocation: Freedom Outdoors Shooting Center\, 485 Bishop St. NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30318\nSetup starts: 5 p.m.\nNew shooter safety brief: 5:30 p.m. (prompt)\nPre-match meeting: 5:50 p.m.\nFirst shots: 6 p.m.\nNew shooters are welcome! New shooters\, or anyone who would like a safety refresher\, MUST be present by 5:30 p.m. for safety brief. If you're not present at the start of the safety brief you will not shoot.\nIDPA ranges are COLD ranges. All weapons will be UNLOADED\, in a holster or case\, will be slide forward or cylinder closed with the hammer or striker down. All PCCs will be bagged or cased AND have an empty chamber flag inserted. Coming to the line\, PCCs will be either muzzle up or down with a chamber flag inserted WITHOUT EXCEPTION.\nEveryone must help strike props and pickup spent brass after the match and everyone gets out earlier.\nAfter you register\, choose the squad you'd like\, “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page. Your squad may change based on squad balance.\nWe MUST have at least two certified SOs on each squad. If y'all squad together we'll split you apart.\nAfter you register\, choose your squad\, hit “squad me” and then hit save at the bottom of the page.\nClosed toed shoes are MANDATORY.\nAbsolutely NO handling of weapons unless you’re at a designated SAFE TABLE or under direct control of a safety officer during a course of fire. NO handling of ammunition\, live or inert\, at a safe table.\nIf you're coming to the match and you are lawfully carrying a firearm\, GO TO AN EMPTY STALL IN BAY 1 TO DOWNLOAD THE GUN. DO NOT download the gun at the safe table.\nIDPA no longer allows the use of Sig Sauer P320 pistols or any its variants\, including the M17 and M18.
