SUMMARY:Pinetucky October 2026 NRL22
DESCRIPTION:Registration and zero range will open at 8:30am\nShooters meeting is at 9:15am\nShooting starts at 9:30am\nThis is a COLD range- There will be zero tolerance for any muzzle flagging at this match. We will have rifle staging areas available to keep rifles in between stages. Chamber flags are requires (We will have available for $2 each at the match if needed)\nPricing- We will shoot the 5 monthly NRL22 stages\, and 1-2 bonus stages depending on match size. Mover stage highly likely!\nMatch fee $25\nNRL22 Member/ Pinetucky Member/ MIL/ LEO/ First Responder / Medical $20\nYoung Guns Shoot Free with paid adult admission!!! (16 and under on first day of the season)\nWhat is NRL.22?\n• A gateway to precision long rifle competitions such as the NRL or PRS. Designed to be extremely fun for beginners and seasoned shooters alike. This is a very youth friendly competition as well!\n• This is a “Match in a can” where each months match we will be competing against competitors all over the country shooting the same COF. There are monthly prize drawings held for NRL.22 members who competed that month. (Membership not required to shoot!)\n• Targets will be steel only\, each stage will have required shooting positions (i.e 2 shots at target A then B from the first rung of a ladder\, repeat for rungs 2 and 3). Speed and accuracy are both important in this competition.\n• What is needed to compete?\n• A .22lr rifle with a detachable magazine\n• A scope that will permit you to engage targets at various distances (My preference is a scope with MIL hashmarks\, but any scope that gives you the ability to shoot various distances will work)\n• Bipod\n• Other equipment that would be nice would be a shooting bag like a gamechanger\, DOPE card\, binos\, Spotting scope\, ballistic calculator app\, etc. There is NO NEED to go buy a bunch of gear before your first match\, plenty of people will be there to lend out gear. We do now have 2 fully built loaner rifles available to use at the match as well! Anyone is welcome to share them! The only cost associated with using these rifles is the cost of about 70 rounds of .22 ammo available at the match for pre-pandemic prices.\n• When is it and where do I find details?\n• www.facebook.com/PinetuckyNRL22\nRegistration and zero range will open at 8:30am\nShooters meeting is at 9:15am\nShooting starts at 9:30am

The goal of the NRL22 is to make Precision Rifle shooting more available to every community. 22LR is the only rimfire caliber allowed to compete in NRL22 so bring what you have and try out a match or come out and see how you’d like to setup your rifle for future matches. Have you ever wanted to get into long range rifle shooting or learn how to accurately engage targets at longer distances? NRL22 is a great opportunity to learn what tools and knowledge it takes to do exactly that. All the skills you use in a NRL22 match can be carried over to centerfire rifles and help you confidently jump into those longer distances.\nNRL22 is designed to be fun and rewarding for youth shooters\, new shooters\, and also challenging enough for seasoned precision rifle shooters. NRL22 monthly matches consist of 5 stages that are typically shot from distances ranging between 25-100 yards. There is a good mix between prone stages\, barricade stages\, and positional stages. Steel targets from 1/4” to 6”. Shooting sequence and scoring will be established by the Match Director and will be clearly explained prior to each match during the shooters meeting and by the Range Officer prior to the start of each stage (match books may be distributed at check-in to explain each stage). Match scores will be retained by the Match Director and posted on Practiscore and DR&PC Facebook page.\nThere are 8 divisions.\n1. Open\n2. Base (MSRP of rifle + MSRP of scope = $1650 or less)\n3. DESCRIPTION:***STOP AND READ THIS***\nTTG SKIRMISH BOISE conducts 6 separate stages including a long range stage and will run regardless of weather conditions (unless there is a category 3 or higher hurricane\, tsunami\, or combination of both).\nIdaho is such a rural state that most competitors are driving 6+ hours to attend and it is of paramount importance that everyone feels they got their money's worth.\nIF YOU ARE ONLY SIGNING UP FOR BOISE BECAUSE YOU THINK IT IS THE CLOSEST SKIRMISH TO YOU\n!!!STOP!!! Go to thetacticalgames.com/skirmish and make sure that there isn't one in your state. We cannot provide a refund once your registration is processed unless proof of military orders is provided.\nIf you are signing up for BOISE because you crave a challenge and want more than 4 stages\, proceed.\n***IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE PRECEEDING SECTION\, GO BACK AND DO IT NOW***\nLocation:\n14010 E. It is going to be very similar to what a competitor would see at a regional Tactical Games event\, so it is the perfect place to get introduced to the sport or to get some extra repetitions in to prepare.\nGear needed:\nBelt\nHolster\nMag Pouches\nPlate Carrier\nMags for rifle and pistol (5 each)\nEar Protection\nEye Protection\nA2 Flash hider/ forward directing muzzle device\nHydration\nSnacks\nApproximately 250 rounds per weapon system- 500 total.\n(The actual amount needed may be less)\nFor more info check out The Tactical Games YouTube page!\nNew Competitor Video Series: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \nClearing Procedure and Chamber Flags: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \nSkirmish Event Policy:\nThe Tactical Games Skirmish events are hosted and managed by Skirmish Affiliate Partners. While these events are sanctioned by The Tactical Games\, each Affiliate operates as an independent entity.\nRegistration systems for different tiers of competition are strictly segmented. There is no crossover between Regional events and Skirmish events.\nIndependent Operations:\nRegional vs. Skirmish:\nRegistrations for The Tactical Games Regional Events and Skirmish Events operate independently.\nNon-Interchangeability:\nFees paid for a Regional Event cannot be applied toward a Skirmish Event\, and vice versa.\nTransfer and Refund Limitations:\nBecause each Skirmish Affiliate is a separate business operation\, funds and registrations are not fluid between locations.\nLocation Specificity:\nA registration purchased for a Skirmish at "Location A" is valid only for that specific venue and date.\nNo Transfers:\nSkirmish registrations cannot be transferred between separate Affiliate locations or different event dates hosted by different partners.\nRefunds:\nAll refund/deferral requests must be directed to the specific Affiliate Partner through whom the registration was purchased. The Tactical Games cannot process refunds for Affiliate-run events.\nPLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE SELECTING THE CORRECT LOCATION AND DATE BEFORE REGISTERING\nNo refunds are offered unless proof of military orders is provided. We offer deferrals up to 21 days ahead of competition. Within 21 days\, a 50% credit will be applied to a future event entry fee.

DESCRIPTION:ASC Outlaw Steel\nLocation:\n7749 Rueff Rd\nWaterman\, Illinois 60556\nFacebook Page: ASC Action Shooting Facebook\n***Effective immediately: due to safety concerns surrounding the Sig P320\, Outlaw Steel is banning the firearm platform from all outlaw steel events. This decision wasn't arrived at lightly\, but in the interest of safety of our members and guests\, we've had to make this decision. This will be reevaluated at a later date\, once the issue has been rectified by Sig Sauer. Please note\, if you show up with a P320\, you will not be allowed to shoot the gun*****\nWhat is Outlaw Steel?\nThis sport is very similar to Steel Challenge. If you're starting with a rimfire/PCC rifle\, or rimfire pistol\, you will start at low ready. For centerfire pistols\, you're start loaded and holstered with your hands in the surrender position. At the beep\, you'll engage 5 steel targets in any order\, with one steel target painted a different color indicating it's the stop plate\, meaning the plate you shoot last after shooting the other 4. You'll repeat this a total of 5 times with your worst time thrown out and the other four used to calculate your stage time.\nPlease note: calibers allowed are as follows: 22 long rifle\, 9mm\, .40 S&W\, 45 ACP\, 38 special. No bottleneck pistol cartridges\, magnum pistol cartridges\, or bottleneck rifle cartridges allowed.\nThis is one of the best ways to get into action shooting\, as well as getting younger shooters started in action shooting.\nAll skill levels are welcome\, and we always welcome new shooters!\nThis year will be a bit different from last year in that we're setting up the stages the day of the match. With 60+ shooters\, this will literally take 10 minutes at most once all of the steel and equipment is dropped off.\nIf you see that the squads are full\, please continue to register. We'll make room for you.\nSetup starts at 08:00 am. If you can meet at the connex boxes to help load steel and equipment onto the trailer\, that will make things run much smoother. Please note that you must help with setup\, otherwise you will not be allowed to shoot the match. The sooner we are done with setup\, the sooner we can get check in done\, safety brief finished and begin shooting at 9am sharp. Our hope is that we have the targets and bays set up before 8:30am so that I can get the tablets synced\, everyone completely checked in\, and get the safety brief done so that we're shooting at 9am. Shooters not checked-in\, or not helping with setup will forfeit their spot. There are no exceptions to this. There are tasks that don't involve lifting steel\, so if you have physical issues that prevent you from lifting steel\, there will be many other things that need to be done.\n**** IF YOU ARE NOT CHECKED IN BY THE TIME THE SAFETY BRIEF STARTS\, YOU WILL BE DELETED FROM THE MATCH ***\nThe prices are $10 for ASC members\, and $20 for non-members. Second gun is an additional $5\nIf you’re only interested in shooting one division\, please just go ahead and register and pay.\nIf you would like to shoot two guns\, please follow this process and we’ll get you squared away.\n1. Register for your first division\, select option for second gun\, pay\, and squad.\n2. Send an email to ddiomede@gmail.com with the following: first and last name\, email address used for Practiscore\, and the division for your second gun\n3. The match director will register and squad you\nA few other additions going forward:\n1. If you’re bringing a junior shooter\, please select the appropriate box for junior on the registration page since they shoot free.\nUSPSA/Steel challenge range officers\, IDPA safety officers\, or NRA RSO’s will also shoot free if you are the designated RO for a squad. Please email the match director that you’re interested in being an RO for a squad.\n1. Email match director at ddiomede@gmail.com to let him know that you would like to be an RO for a squad.\n2. In the email\, please indicate that you would like to be an RO\, and provide first and last name\, email address used for PS\, division\, and which organization you have your certification in.\n3. The match director will then register you for the match.\n4. If you want to shoot two divisions\, it’ll just be $5. Go ahead and email match director and we'll get you registered and the $5 fee will be set on that second division. You'll just need to log into that second registration to make payment.\nAlso one additional note: In the event that you are DQ'd and are shooting more than one gun\, the DQ applies for both guns. The official rulebook will be updated to reflect this change.\nRegistration fees are non-refundable\, except in the event of match cancellation.\nPlease also be patient with emailing the match director (me). I travel extensively for work and don't have the ability to respond quickly at times.\nLastly\, PLEASE USE AN EMAIL ADDRESS WHERE YOU'LL ACTUALLY SEE NOTIFICATIONS. This is extremely important because we send out event updates. There are some days where heavy rain or thunderstorms are predicted and we have to cancel the morning of. I try to get ahead of storms and cancel at least a day or two before\, but we know that people look forward to these matches and if we're not positive\, we'll play it by ear and check the forecast the morning of the match. Check your email before you leave the house in the morning because it may save you a drive.
