SUMMARY:MOTH RIDGE'S TWILIGHT SYNDICATE Range Night #204
DESCRIPTION:This Event is NOT A COMPETITION - THIS IS AN OPEN RANGE NIGHT - No scores will be recorded!! \nSeason 4 of MRDG's night shoots is here! Moth Ridge Range Nights allow shooters to use white light and night vision devices on some of the Peacemaker's world class ranges in an unstructured\, open training format. We allow participants to dictate their goals for the night\, from zeroing new setups to running dynamic drills at almost any distance\, short or long. Enjoy access to 10+ private tactical bays AND 'jungle runs' equipped with both steel targets and paper target stands (paper/cardboard available for purchase\, or bring your own)\, and an unknown distance range with multiple steel targets out to 300 yards. We have multiple features available to set up any drills you may want to run. Spots are limited\, so sign up today!\nNight Shoots will enforce stringent requirements on participants. Please review the following:\n- ALL Shooters must check-in at the shop located at 1624 Brannons Ford Rd\, Gerrardstown\, WV 25420\n- Fresh waivers are required for all participants\, even if one is on file\n- Event begins with a 30 minute window for check-in followed by 4 hours of live-fire\n- Gates will be locked 30 minutes after the event starts; those arriving later will not be permitted to attend\n- All participants MUST have a handheld white light source on them\n- Ear and Eye protection is required at all times\n- Minimum of two (2) Strobes/chemlights/IFF must be affixed to front & back of each shooter and remain visible for the entire duration of the session\n- NO bi-metal\, steel core\, LAP\, green tip\, or tracer ammunition\n- NO Full-Auto fire\n- NO rifles calibers over .308 permitted\n- If using White Light:\n- MUST be weapon mounted for Rifles\n- Can be weapon mounted or handheld for pistols\n- If using Night Vision (aka NODs\, NVGs\, etc):\n- Must be analog/Image Intensifier based\n- Suppressors required after dark\n- NO DIGITAL NODs*\n- For competitive environments\, NODs must be worn on the head and mounted to either a helmet or cranial harness\n- All participants including those who are spectating must complete and sign a liability waiver at the club house prior to being directed to the range. SUMMARY:Dead Zero “Own The Night” Match November 14 2026
DESCRIPTION:3-gun (rifle/pistol/shotgun) match. NVG Division is allowed ZERO white/red light and must use IR or no light at all. White Light Division is allowed any lights they want. Rifle must shoot a rifle round\, and pistol must shoot a pistol round. Shotgun #6 shot or smaller lead only\, no steel shot. Everything else is allowed as long as it's safe.\n5 stages. Rifle out to 250 yds max (we may expand this - we'll do some testing first). One stage must be shot "Passive" with no additional light (IR or white) allowed. Moving targets. Great challenges and fun!\nI designed this as a 2-gun match (rifle/pistol) as that's where I want my own practice\, but any pistol steel can be shot with a shotgun (birdshot only). Paper pistol targets could be shot with slugs if you want (bring your own giant pasters if you bring slugs!). Any pistol targets can be shot with PCC. The only limitation is that pistol targets must be hit with pistol rounds (or shotgun)\, and rifle targets must be hit with rifle rounds. Bring the tools you want to use in the dark\, and get to work!\nWe'll be pushing the rifle targets out further (up from 150yds previously) to give us a little more challenge - we'll do some testing and see what our limits are. NVG Division must use IR light only\, but White Light Division can use as much light in any color they want. There will be one stage that must be shot 100% passive\, only using whatever little distracting ambient light is there.\nRegistration starts at 4:15pm Central Time and ends at 5:15pm. Pay $35 cash only onsite.

SUMMARY:Payson Long Gong Nov 15 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Long Gong at the Tonto Rim Sports Club\nAll you need is a scoped .22LR rifle\, a bipod and separate rear bag. And 50 rounds of ammo.\nWe’ll supply three gong targets: 8"\, 6"\, and 4"\nYou shoot from the bench\, and the targets are 300 yards down range.\nThe object is to score as many points as possible with those 50 rounds. You get 1 point for each hit on the 8"\, 2 points for the 6"\, and 3 points for each hit on the 4" steel gong.\nSince this is a risk/reward competition\, you shoot for the 8" first\, and if you hit it\, you may move to the 6". Hit that\, and you can move on to the 4". A miss on the 6" or 4" means that you move back to the previous gong\, and must hit it before moving on. Each competitor shoots 5 10-round sets\, with the maximum possible score of 27 for each set (1+2+3+3+3+3+3+3+3+3) and 135 total for the match.\nIt's a game so simple a child can play; so challenging even the best shooters will never perfect it\, and to top it all off\, it’s highly addictive!\nCome join us for a Long Gong match on the 3rd Sunday of each month\, at the Tonto Rim Sports Club’s Jim Jones Shooting Range.\nNon-members welcome. While competitive in spirit\, these matches are fun shoots and we are willing to help if you are interested in joining us!\nMatch fee is $5.
