DESCRIPTION:Local 4 Stage Match\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for Advanced classification or above.\n1Gun is designed to combine the well liked aspects from the different shooting sports\, with dynamic stages and simpler rules. While we fully understand no game can ever prepare one for a real world defensive situation\, we are just trying to build on basic skills that one should have; by rewarding quick\, accurate shooting with the ability to think on the fly. To do this\, we combined standards\, mission based\, and run-n-gun type stages with a more dynamic experience that requires the shooter to adapt vs replay a rehearsed stage plan.\nThe 1Gun Rulebook is attached to the match and for more information\, please see the https://1gun.org website.\nBlind coin flips are done during the stage reset\, hidden under a cup\, revealing the threat target color after the starting beep\, produces dynamic stages. By the pure definition of dynamic stages\, we are saying the stage is not the same for each shooter. This is okay\, and is by design. Stages will be designed to be fair\, not exact or symmetrical. In other words\, every effort will be placed on keeping the shooting complexity similar\, regardless of which color threat is drawn. But depending on your strengths and or weaknesses\, the luck of the draw could be the equalizer. But with that said\, we believe that these slight differences balance out by the end of the match and the benefits of creating a more dynamic experience\, far out weighs any little differences.\n$22 with a $9 discount for verified PRGC members.

We do not permit belly bends**\nThere will be 3+ stages of fire\, and the goal is to get you through the match before 8 pm (or dusk\, whichever is earlier). Join the Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch for our Dove Warm Up Sporting Clays League and get into shooting shape for the upcoming dove season! There’s no better way to hone your skills\, improve your reaction time\, and get reacquainted with your field gun than a quick four-week shooting league! \nDates: \nJuly 29th\, August 5th\, 12th\, 19th and League Dinner Party/Awards on August 26th\, starting at 6pm! \n***Teams and Individuals can shoot anytime between Wednesday at 9AM and Sunday close of business each week.*** \nBasics: \nLeague scores based on 50 targets per week. \n(Practice course and 5-stand will also be available prior and after weekly rounds) \nTargets: \nEnjoyable targets will be set by Course Manager Gary Madigan and Christian Daniels \nPrice: \nPrice for league is $180 for all 4 weeks which includes the League Party Dinner/Awards (10% off for Members) \nTeams: \nA minimum of 4 shooters per team is required to make a team and a maximum of 6 shooters.  Team scores will take the highest 4 shooters including handicap for the weekly total.  Team rosters must be determined prior to the end of the first week.  Individual shooters will be grouped together to create a team. Final 25 targets to be added to your League handicap score to determine winner.  \n\n  \nHandicaps: \nHandicaps are calculated by using the shooter’s weekly score\, then subtracting it from “par”\, which is 45 and multiplying the difference times .70 (70%) Example:  If a shooter’s score is 30 the equation is 45-30=15 x .70 = 10.5.  the product (in the example 10.5) will be added to the shooter’s score.  Handicaps adjusted each week.  Maximum score with handicap is 45. \nWeather and Bank Rounds: \nIf you are not able to make it on the scheduled evening\, bank scores must be made up by Sunday of that week or you will be given an average of 2 other weeks scores for that week.  The same for weather related cancelations. \nSign-Up: \nSign up using Score Chaser and utilize the “squadding request” function to add your teammates. ALL shooters must create a free Score Chaser account. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the registration page for the Indoor IDPA match at Freedom Outdoors in Douglasville\, GA\nThis is a monthly LOW-LIGHT Tier I IDPA match held on the 4th Monday of every month. There is a regular Tier I IDPA match on the 2nd Monday of every month.  We try to complete between 4 scenario stages each match and up to 2 standards stages. The number of rounds required is between 80-100 rounds. Please bring at least 100 rounds in case of malfunction or reshoot. No steel-core or steel-cased ammunition is allowed on the range. Common calibers are available for purchase from Freedom Outdoors on site.\nIDPA matches require a safe and operational firearm\, at least two magazines (three is ideal)\, magazine carriers to hold the magazines on your belt\, and a concealment garment such as a fishing vest or Hawaiian shirt.\nTHIS IS A LOW-LIGHT MATCH MEANING TARGETS ARE ENGAGED WITH THE LIGHTS OFF. A FLASHLIGHT IS REQUIRED FOR SAFETY.\nWeapon mounted lights are okay in IDPA\, and it is also recommended to bring a smaller handheld flashlight for scoring pasting and walking around after the stage.\nPlease sign in at the counter to fill out paperwork and process payment prior to entering the range bays. The match begins at 6:00PM\, and shooters are encouraged to arrive prior to 6:00 to assist with setup. New shooters please arrive 30 minutes prior (5:30) to receive a short required safety briefing.\nRegistration is open to current IDPA members and anyone interested in becoming an IDPA member and competitor. If you are not a member of IDPA\, leave your IDPA member number blank on the registration form. While membership is not required to shoot local matches\, shooters are encouraged after the third match to join. Head Coach: Coach Sammy craig@coachsammy.ca \nThe Moving Targets + Technique Course is a coached course where you will receive hands on training to learn and increase your skills and knowledge of shooting moving targets in a non stress training enviroment where you have a chance to learn outside of a match. The training will be held at 400 yards and will include learning the techniques of shooting moving targets for top scores.\nIf you are shooting ORA Precision Rifle or Service Rifle matches\, or any competition where moving targets are used (such as PRS)\, this training will increase your ability and confidence\, and It will also give you a lot of shooting time not under the pressure of a match scenario.\nLearn how to calculate your hold depending on target speed and distance\, where to hold and how to judge holds for different wind directions\, and best PoA. Learn the different strategies to shoot the moving targets and develop pre-shot routines to avoid a miss. You will be shooting slow with single indicated hits to start\, and work up to match speeds. A full day of coached training will give you experience to shoot moving targets\, and the knowledge to calculate the distance and speed of targets. We will also cover how to use AB Quantum or a Kestrel to know your PoA and target speed of Moving Targets.\nWhat you Need to attend:\n1. Your Experience:\n- Have shot your rifle\, scope\, ammo combination numerous times\, have tested ammo to choose the best for your rifle\, and you must have your scope zeroed and centered\, and be able to 5 shot shoot groups of 1 MOA or less at 100 yards.\n- Know your scope\, rifle specs\, and how it all works.\n2. ORA Membership + Waiver\nIf you are NOT an ORA 2026 Member\, you must register as a Guest\,\nand you must sign the Guest & Handload Ammo Waiver. There is nothing is available on site\, and no time to leave the range.\n- Appropriate clothing for the weather. We shoot rain or extreme heat.\n  DO NOT WEAR BLACK CLOTHING. This is a training Base\, and MPs will ticket and possibly escort you off the Base. Follow Speed limit signs.\n50 km/h through centre of CFB Borden\, 60 Km/h on Range Road\, 15 Km/h on any range access road. Pass Marching Troops at a max of 15 km/h and less to be respectful.\n- MATCH CANCELLATION BY MILITARY:\nIf the event is cancelled by the Military because they need the Range\, then a full refund will be issued\, if an alternate date does not suit you. This is not common and usually done well in advance due to CAF Range requirements.\n- Because we shoot on a Military Range\, Range Control can shut us down for a high Fire Index\, Lightning or Storm Warning etc. This is out of our control\, and there is no refund in that scenario. I have seen it happen only once in the last 10 years\, but it’s part of shooting on a Military Range\, and must be stated.
