DESCRIPTION:The NRL22 is a fun and cost effective way to get into precision rifle shooting! The group at SPFGA are easy-going and more than happy to welcome both new- and guest-shooters.\nThis is a .22lr event shooting off of various barricades and props\, at target sizes ranging from .25" to 6" at varying distances.\nGear requirements: .22lr (bolt-action or semi-auto) with a detachable box magazine with 1 magazine\, 2 would be preferred. A magnified optic is not required\, though is strongly recommended.\n!!!!!!!! New for 2025 at Sherwood Park Fish & Game NRL22 events !!!!!!!!\nThere will be an extra practice stage set up\, in addition to the five from that month’s course of fire. This stage is intended for new competitors\, and those still learning the ropes alike\, to practice fundamentals before the match begins. If you intend to make use of this practice stage\, please plan to be at the range for 9:00am (an hour before the match begins)\, and notify one of the match director’s in advance to ensure your access to the facilities. Additionally\, we understand there is an element of intimidation to those first few matches\, and we encourage potentially shy shooters not to worry this community is very helpful and you are in great company to learn.\nNo rifle\, no ammo? No problem! We understand that this is an expensive shooting sport to begin with\, and acquiring gear up front can be intimidating and costly. We are able to provide a loaner rifle\, supplementary ammunition and any other necessary gear for first-time shooters. DESCRIPTION:MATCH SUMMARY:\nOur unique Accurized AR matches are held on the third Saturday of each month. This match is designed to test your long-range skills with multiple target engagement distances and positions. Shots are taken from various “PRS style” positions and props throughout the stages. Each match consists of five stages with targets ranging from 100 to 700 yards. Every stage has a 20 round maximum.  A typical Accurized AR match requires you to make between 40 to 50 hits\, so bring enough ammunition to accommodate.\nMATCH HIGHLIGHTS:\n• 5 Stages\n• Start Time: 8am\, Squads 1-5\n• Equipment Divisions: Open\, Restricted\, Tactical\, Heavy\, Limited.  See rules for equipment requirements.\n• The provided Written Stage Briefings (WSB's) below are subject to change. DESCRIPTION:The LCSC USPSA Practice is aimed at guiding shooters through a practice session. Shooters will have access to 2 shooting bays.\nOne Bay will have a USPSA style stage set up. Shooters will be able to practice stage planning and shooting strategy on this bay. Shooters will be permitted to dry fire the practice stage in addition to live fire practice.\nOn the second bay\, there will be 2-3 drills set up for shooters to practice. These drills are common among USPSA. Shooters will have access to the standards for each drill allowing the shooter to measure their current skill level and improvement over time.\nShooters will also have access to suggested best practices for establishing a practice regime.\nThe LCSC USPSA Practice session is meant to be an environment for the improvement of shooting skills. Shooters are encouraged to ask for and give advice\, there are no egos here.\nThe sessions are held once a month at Linden Gun Range on the 3rd Saturday of the month. The practice setup starts at 8 AM and we appreciate help from participants. This match will have 6 stages taking place in multiple bays throughout the range. This is NOT an NRL Hunter points match.\nThere will be 3 Divisions:\nFactory (unmodified production rifles weighing up to 12 lbs. maximum including scope and bipod).\nOpen Light (modified rifles up to 14 lbs. maximum including scope and bipod).\nOpen Heavy (any rifles over 14 lbs. including scope and bipod).\nNO STEEL CORE AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED\nEach stage will have 1 to 3 Targets\, and be blind stage where shooters have a time limit of 4 minutes to locate\, range and engage targets using the 2-1 dead target scoring. DESCRIPTION:EWPSA's third DMR match of the summer.\nA DMR match is a rifle only match emphasizing longer range shooting - for a "designated marksman's rifle". Ranges will be between 100 and 800 yards\, with target sizes of 2+ MOA. This will be somewhat similar to a Gas Gun Show match\, if you are familiar with those. Stages will have par times of around 2 minutes. These run faster than monthly 2-gun matches. If you have a spotting scope\, please bring it to help call hits.\nRegistration opens at 8:30am. The pistol bays gate will be open for you. We'll have a shooter's meeting and new shooter's brief around 8:50am\, and get started shooting around 9:00am.\nThe match is $20 for non-members and $15 for TCSA members\, and setup/teardown staff shoots for free.
