SUMMARY:TTG Skirmish Boise August 29th
DESCRIPTION:***STOP AND READ THIS***\nTTG SKIRMISH BOISE conducts 6 separate stages including a long range stage and will run regardless of weather conditions (unless there is a category 3 or higher hurricane\, tsunami\, or combination of both).\nIdaho is such a rural state that most competitors are driving 6+ hours to attend and it is of paramount importance that everyone feels they got their money's worth.\nIF YOU ARE ONLY SIGNING UP FOR BOISE BECAUSE YOU THINK IT IS THE CLOSEST SKIRMISH TO YOU\n!!!STOP!!! Go to thetacticalgames.com/skirmish and make sure that there isn't one in your state. We cannot provide a refund once your registration is processed unless proof of military orders is provided.\nIf you are signing up for BOISE because you crave a challenge and want more than 4 stages\, proceed.\n***IF YOU DIDN'T READ THE PRECEEDING SECTION\, GO BACK AND DO IT NOW***\nLocation:\n14010 E. It is going to be very similar to what a competitor would see at a regional Tactical Games event\, so it is the perfect place to get introduced to the sport or to get some extra repetitions in to prepare.\nGear needed:\nBelt\nHolster\nMag Pouches\nPlate Carrier\nMags for rifle and pistol (5 each)\nEar Protection\nEye Protection\nA2 Flash hider/ forward directing muzzle device\nHydration\nSnacks\nApproximately 250 rounds per weapon system- 500 total.\n(The actual amount needed may be less)\nFor more info check out The Tactical Games YouTube page!\nNew Competitor Video Series: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\nClearing Procedure and Chamber Flags: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n\n\nSkirmish Event Policy:\nThe Tactical Games Skirmish events are hosted and managed by Skirmish Affiliate Partners. While these events are sanctioned by The Tactical Games\, each Affiliate operates as an independent entity.\nRegistration systems for different tiers of competition are strictly segmented. There is no crossover between Regional events and Skirmish events.\nIndependent Operations:\nRegional vs. Skirmish:\nRegistrations for The Tactical Games Regional Events and Skirmish Events operate independently.\nNon-Interchangeability:\nFees paid for a Regional Event cannot be applied toward a Skirmish Event\, and vice versa.\nTransfer and Refund Limitations:\nBecause each Skirmish Affiliate is a separate business operation\, funds and registrations are not fluid between locations.\nLocation Specificity:\nA registration purchased for a Skirmish at "Location A" is valid only for that specific venue and date.\nNo Transfers:\nSkirmish registrations cannot be transferred between separate Affiliate locations or different event dates hosted by different partners.\nRefunds:\nAll refund/deferral requests must be directed to the specific Affiliate Partner through whom the registration was purchased. The Tactical Games cannot process refunds for Affiliate-run events.\nPLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE SELECTING THE CORRECT LOCATION AND DATE BEFORE REGISTERING\nNo refunds are offered unless proof of military orders is provided. We offer deferrals up to 21 days ahead of competition. Within 21 days\, a 50% credit will be applied to a future event entry fee.

SUMMARY:Zoo City Armory’s "The Gauntlet" August 29
DESCRIPTION:The Zoo City Armory "The Gauntlet" is an intense shooting competition designed to challenge both the physical endurance\, strength and marksmanship abilities of its athletes. Competitors navigate a demanding course that includes a variety of obstacles\, requiring them to run\, climb\, lift\, move and maneuver through rugged terrain\, all while maintaining precision with firearms. The event tests not only speed and agility but also accuracy under pressure\, with timed shooting stages spread throughout the course. Participants must demonstrate a unique blend of strength\, stamina\, and sharpshooting skills\, making "The Gauntlet" a true test of all-around athleticism. Athletes will need to be able to move objects at a variety of weights and engage targets from 1-400 yards. \n*Mission / Spirit of the Gauntlet – Designed to be more of a training event to test yourself and equipment than a competition. We advocate Knowledge Distribution; if you see someone having trouble with a certain task / skill and you have a solution\, help them. We encourage coaching during this match! * \nAugust 29\, 2026\nCheck In and Registration: 0800\nShooters Meeting: 0845\nFirst Rounds Down Range NLT: 0915 \nDivisions: \nLegendary: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 20lbs empty. This division will be the most challenging with max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 150lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 125lbs. \nHeroic: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 14lbs empty. This division is meant for the “everyday Joe”\, it will be physically demanded yet doable. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 100lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 90lbs.\nFemale Legendary: The weight for the plate carrier will be no less than 10lbs empty. This division is meant for “females only” to test their abilities in their own division\, it will be physically demanded yet doable. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 75lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 70lbs. \nRecruit: There is no plate carrier required for this division. Competitors can run a plate carrier or “rack” if they would like. This division is specifically designed for new shooters of the sport. This division is to help build confidence\, ability\, and experience all while having fun\, and meeting new friends. This division will test your abilities\, but not become overwhelming. The max weight that an athlete may have to lift (meaning ground to shoulder) will be 50lb. The max weight that an athlete may have to carry (per hand) will be no more than 50lb.\n Firearms: \nAll divisions are open (Rifle and Pistol may run any optic or multiple optics and any sort of set up). All rifles must have a sling. Pistols may have a red dot and must have a holster than can retain the pistol while negotiating obstacles. Yes! You can run a surpressor! \nRifle: .223 and above. No green tip\, tracer\, armor piercing or M855A1 allowed\, this could result in a match DQ if caught using these. \nPistol: 9mm or larger. \nPlate Carriers: The weight for all the plate carriers mentioned above will be weighed empty. Empty meaning that the shooter will not have any magazines\, ammunition\, radios\, water or other gear to “make weight”. The weight will consist of the plate carrier\, pouches and either ballistic or exercise plates. \nSupporting devices (i.e.\, Support Bags\, Tripods\, Bipods etc..) may be used from stage to stage but must be fixed to the firearm for the entire course of fire. Example\, shooter decides to run a “Game Changer” Bag for a stage\, the bag must be attached to their rifle for the entire course of fire. Ammunition may not be staged through the course of fire. All loads and reloads must come from the body unless otherwise stated in the Written Stage Brief (WSB). \nRound Count: Minimum Round count will be 100 Rifle and 100 Pistol. A more specific round count will be sent to the athletes before the day of the match.\nLast day to sign up and receive a match T Shirt is August 7\, 2026.\nAwards will be given to 1st\, 2nd and 3rd for each division. SUMMARY:SHOOT SIG - World Shooting and Recreational Complex
DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re new to shooting competitions or an experienced competitor\, you’ll enjoy 3 approachable stages that can be completed with less than 100 rounds and in under an hour. Compete again in the same or another division for a discounted match fee. Bring any pistol or PCC or try out a new SIG pistol or PCC for an additional fee. You must be a SHOOT SIG member and shoot a SIG firearm to be eligible for prizes.\n*NOTE: If you want to shoot in more than one Division or multiple entries in a single Division\, you must first complete your initial registration and pay the initial $45 match fee. Then\, you must register for each additional entry and select "Additional Division" under Extras in the payment information section to receive the discounted match fee of $25. Each additional entry in this manner will allow you to pick a respective Division and Squad; this will result in multiple registrations for the same match being displayed under your PractiScore dashboard profile.\n**NOTE: As a reminder\, we operate using a "cold range" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box or holster until you are under the direct supervision of a SHOOT SIG Range Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire. If you are planning to shoot the match with your carry gun and you arrive to the range with a loaded (hot) firearm\, we will have designated safe areas clearly marked where you can safely unload your firearm prior to checking in. SUMMARY:Turkeyfoot Cowboy Action AUGUST 29TH Match
DESCRIPTION:Our club offers modified Cowboy Action Shooting® matches. Currently we have multiple categories with a few added in such as Working Cowboy/Cowgirl which is pistol and a rifle. Our goal is to get you out here shooting and having fun. If you don't have all of the gear that you "think" you need\, stop by and chat with us and we will get you started.\nWe dress in pre–1900 clothing and shoot real bullets from original or replicas of the kind of guns used by cowboys in the late 1800's. The shooting is timed and scores are recorded to determine winners. But as much as the competition\, we enjoy the friendships and just the fun of shooting. It is well organized\, safe\, family oriented and is a good place to meet some really nice folks!\nDon't be alarmed by the costuming\, there are "open" classes that are much less restrictive.

SUMMARY:2026 IDPA Omaha Outdoor Match at ENGC
DESCRIPTION:For questions about this match\, email TJ Mott (tj@tjmott.com).\nThis is the fourth annual IDPA outdoor match at ENGC! We will have 8 stages (150 rounds of ammo should be enough)\, with a lot more freedom of movement and more interesting layouts than our normal indoor matches.\nThis year's match is a Tier 1 event\, which means you do NOT have to be an IDPA member with a current classification to participate. New shooters are welcome. Just check out the FAQ at https://www.idpanebraska.com/faq/ and feel free to ask the range officers any questions on match day.\nRegistration will start with 3 squads. If they fill up and we have enough SO's\, we will expand the squads or create additional squads.\nMATCH SCHEDULE\nMatch sign-in is from 7:45 AM to 8:45 AM. We will NOT be accepting walk-in registrations or on-site payment\, so you must register here on Practiscore if you want to participate. (Spectators do not need to register or pay a match fee.)\nThe match briefing will be at 9:00 AM with shooting to begin immediately after. If all goes well\, we will be done by 1:00 or 2:00 PM.\nMatch setup will begin around 6:00 or 6:30 AM. Any and all help is appreciated\, so please consider showing up early.\nIf you are an IDPA safety officer and you're willing to help with the match\, the registration form will have a checkbox to indicate this. You will likely be bumped around in the registration to balance SO's across squads\, so if you have friends you really want to shoot with\, or are sharing gear\, let us know on match day and we'll do our best to accommodate you.\nRANGE INFO\nEastern Nebraska Gun Club (https://engc.us/home) is an outdoor range a few miles east of Louisville\, NE\, near Omaha (View on Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Eastern+Nebraska+Gun+Club/@41.0160638\,-96.1118741\,17z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x87940c55bc3772af:0x77a8e343f5e43062!8m2!3d41.0160598!4d-96.1096801!16s%2Fg%2F119vx05d6). The entrance is just west of a cemetery\, and it's easy to miss. It is at the bottom of a hill with limited visibility so please be careful when turning in\, and especially when leaving!\nYou do not have to be an ENGC or IDPA member to participate in this match. When you reach the range\, let the range officer at the entrance know you're here for the IDPA match. We will be in Pistol Bays 1 - 5 at the very end of the gravel drive.\nSAFETY INFORMATION\nAlways observe the four rules of gun safety:\n1. Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded.\n2. Keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until you are aimed at a target and ready to fire.\n3. Don't point your muzzle at anything you don't want to destroy.\n4. Always be sure of your target and what's beyond before firing.\nThis match will observe a COLD RANGE. This means all firearms MUST be unloaded and either cased or holstered when not in use. Furthermore\, there is NO HANDLING of firearms until it is your turn to shoot and the range safety officer gives you the "Load and Make Ready" command. Failure to follow this rule will result in a match disqualification.\nIf you need to inspect/clean your firearm\, test your red dot\, etc.\, you may do so at one of the designated safe areas. Bring your cased or holstered firearm (unloaded) to the safety area\, then you may uncase/unholster it while keeping it pointed in a safe direction. Do not handle any ammo at the safety areas. (You may load magazines at any time anywhere EXCEPT the safety areas.)\nIf you have a CCW permit and you brought a loaded and holstered firearm to the range\, that is fine. You will have the chance to safely unload it during the equipment check at sign-in.\nWhile you are running through a course of fire you MUST follow the 180 rule (more info at https://www.idpanebraska.com/faq/)\, and ideally keep your gun pointed at the berm at all times including during reloads. Breaking the 180 will result in a match disqualification\, as will firing any rounds over the berm. Keep your finger off the trigger while moving or reloading. Failure to do this will result in a warning on the first offense\, and a match disqualification on the second.\nFor more information about IDPA in the state of Nebraska\, check out https://www.idpanebraska.com/.
