SUMMARY:BRSP Steel Challenge Match - November 21
DESCRIPTION:This is a 4 stage Steel Challenge match for members and non-members. This beginner-friendly speed steel shoot can be shot with .22LR pistols\, .22LR rifles\, PCCs (pistol-caliber carbines) and non-magnum\, straight wall cartridge centerfire pistols (e.g. 9mm\, .38SPL\, 10mm\, .40S&W\, .45ACP). This match requires 100 hits - we recommend shooters bring 150-200 rounds of ammunition and at least 3 double-stack or 5 single-stack magazines. Please arrive with magazines loaded and guns unloaded.\nWe shoot a split schedule. You can shoot the morning or the afternoon - or both! Morning setup will be around 8:30 with first shots immediately after setup. The afternoon start will be at 12:30. Maximum two divisions per shooter please. Pay here on Practiscore.\nWe run a cold range for the match. If you arrive carrying a loaded firearm\, please unload and clear BEFORE entering the competition bay. Use the designated safety table on the range to unbag and holster your already-unloaded firearm. Long guns must be cased\, or flagged and carried with muzzle pointing up. All other firearm handling on the range must be at the safety table\, except when shooting the stage.\nPlease note: we do not automatically paint targets between shooters. If you want steel painted before you shoot\, paint is available. Please notify the RO at the beginning of the match and coordinate painting with your squad mates ahead of time to help keep the match running efficiently. Please dress in bright/light colored clothing and also dress for the weather.\nShooters will be permitted to run a PCC of any length as their rifle for the match. DESCRIPTION:This is an ADVANCED SHOOTING CLASS. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION.\nThis is a 5 - 6hr course consisting of interactive instruction followed by intense training/practice on the range. Please report to the IDPA pits at the rear of the club. Please do not drive to the pits unless authorized to do so by the staff.\nEmphasis will be on teaching shooters who are new to IDPA to navigate a course of fire safely and efficiently. Students will learn the terminology and range commands used in the sport of IDPA.\nThe following skills/techniques will be taught and then practiced under the supervision of experienced and currently certified IDPA Safety Officers:\nLoading and unloading the gun while on the line;\nDrawing from a holster and acquiring a target;\nProper clearing of the gun at the end of a course of fire;\nHolstering the gun; target transitions; engaging targets in tactical priority; slide-lock reloads; tactical reloads with retention;\nShooting on the move (forward\, backward\, laterally);\nShooting strong hand\, weak hand\, and freestyle;\nProper use of cover; muzzle control while competing; and scoring of targets.\nCertified IDPA Safety Officers teach the basics at the IDPA ranges. The students then proceed to the different pits where a team of certified SOs run students through a small match. Stages are designed to complement the classroom teaching\, and provide practical illustrations to many of the rules of IDPA.\nCost is $25 for non-Old Colony members. Old Colony members are free.\nClass is limited to 20 people. 4 squads of 5.\nMinimum caliber of gun .38/9mm or larger. Please verify that you have registered in the correct Division and Category:\nDivisions:\nWe have 5 Competitive Divisions\nOpen Division - Competitors shooting a combined Rifle and Optic with a cost over $1820 USD MSRP. This is based on the manufacturer-listed $USD MSRP\, not the user-purchased price. It is only for the rifle and optic. No rings\, rails\, or mounts are to be included in the cost calculation. It is the shooter's responsibility to select the correct division.\nProduction Division – shooters competing with rifle and optics below the $1820 combined USD MSRP (as listed on the company’s website).\n•	You may not replace your original barrel unless you replace it with an original barrel with the same specifications.\n• You may bed your rifle’s action\n• You may tune your current trigger\, but you are not allowed to use an aftermarket/replacement trigger.\n• You may not replace your stock with a performance stock or chassis.\nSemi-auto – any .22 LR semi-automatic rifles\, regardless of price.\nAirgun – any .22 calibre air rifles\, regardless of price\, will compete in the Airgun division.\n• Pellets and slugs must be mass-produced and cannot exceed 49 grains.\n• For safety reasons\, tethered air tanks are not allowed.\nStealth – The stealth division is for competitors who desire to compete but require an altered string or course of fire. This may be due to range of motion issues or new competitors requiring extra coaching/assistance to adopt shooting positions or make impacts. Stealth competitors are allowed to alter the shooting position\, sequence\, and\, within reason\, are allotted more time to complete their string of fire.\nCategories:\nWe have 3 alternate Categories you may choose to compete in\, in addition to your chosen division. You can select any that apply.\nLadies – regardless of age\nSenior – Anyone turning 55 years or older at the start of the season in the season is eligible to shoot in the Seniors category.\nYouth – Anyone 17 years or younger for the entire season is eligible to shoot in the Youth category.

DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Windrock Shooting Range and Training Center's U.S. Rimfire Nation Monthly Match!\nThe match will consist of several rimfire disciplines to include Rimfire Falling Steel\, Metal Madness Unlimited\, Steel Challenge and Rimfire Challenge like stages.  The match will consist of 5 stages 2 Rifle Stages\, 2 Pistol Stages and a combination . You must shoot both guns in order to shoot for score. DESCRIPTION:This steel match will comprise nine stages\, with an estimated round count of 120.\nAs always\, bring plenty of .22LR ammo\, a 22lr rifle and pistol. Experienced and new shooters are all welcome.\nThere will be 6 strings of Rimfire Challenge\, 3 rifle only and 3 pistol only. Then 3 strings of two gun with rifle and pistol.\nMatch fee is $7 for AAFG members & Juniors\, $9 for non-members. Payment taken in cash at registration.\nArrival 9am. Registration opens at 9:20am.
