SUMMARY:Flagstaff Action Shooters - Classic Action Pistol (ICORE) - October
DESCRIPTION:An action pistol match open to all but geared towards "classic" handguns. We define classic as revolvers or 1911s\, but we are very inclusive -- this is open to all action pistol shooters.\nMandatory safety briefing at ***10:00 a.m.*** followed by first shots. Sign ups open 30 minutes ahead of time\, but showing up an hour ahead of time to help with set up will be appreciated.\nLocation is here: http://flagstaffactionshooters.org/location\nWe will use the ICORE rule set for its simplicity. Scoring is based on total time (no hit factors). Poor hits or misses simply add time to a shooters score. Compared to a USPSA match\, this scoring focuses more on accuracy than speed with stronger penalties for non-Alpha hits.\nMinimum equipment is a revolver or pistol of .38 Special/9mm or larger\, a holster which holds the firearm securely and covers the trigger guard\, and a belt strong enough to carry the gun (no cloth holsters) and ammunition in a safe manner. All participants and spectators must wear eye and ear protection when shooting is in progress. Generally\, 150 rounds are sufficient to complete all courses of fire\, and about 20-30 on any given stage.\nTo keep every thing even\, all guns will shoot with the same capacity restrictions\, specifically a maximum of 8 rounds in the gun at any given time.\n$15 for FAS members\, $25 for non-members. Membership is $50 per year. Kids shoot free. This is payable at the range\, cash or check. We do NOT use PractiScore membership.

SUMMARY:CPFGC 3-Gun 26-4 "Trigger Treat"
DESCRIPTION:Our matches typically consist of three stages\, and are shot in Squads of up to 12 shooters. We have a fully covered firing line that lets us stay out of the hot sun or the pouring rain (for the most part).\nEveryone shoots in the same category\, class\, and division\, (probably because we don't recognize any of those).\nAt Country Pond\, we definitely stress the "fun" rather than the "competition". We're structuring these matches so people can learn about 3-Gun Shooting without a lot of pressure. No stress (except what you put on yourself) -- just nice people\, a good time\, and lots of "Attaboys!".

SUMMARY:78W's "Party After Dark" - 2 Gun Night Match
DESCRIPTION:78W's "Party After Dark" is a 5 stage\, Time Plus (Points) 2-gun rifle/pistol match shot under either white light or night vision with IR illumination. The course of fire will include usage of a subterranean bunker\, glowing props & targetry\, and varied artificial lighting conditions.\nThis match is hosted at the beautiful Osprey Training Facility in southeastern North Carolina.\nOn-site lodging is not available for competitors at this time.\nAll shooters must use a centerfire rifle or PCC\, as well as a centerfire handgun. A PCC may not be used in place of a handgun\, nor as the only firearm entered.\nSuppressors are encouraged but not required.\nWhite light/flashlights may be used on handguns while competing in the NV division at the cost of a procedural penalty per-stage; This is not recommended. White light usage on rifles is not permitted while competing in the NV division. HOWEVER\, written stage briefs may allow for usage without a penalty being assessed for usage on either firearm\, due to specific features of a stage; This having white light options even if you are an NV shooter isn’t a bad idea.\nFully automatic or simulated fully automatic fire is not permitted. Tripods are not permitted. No other restrictions on firearms or accessories.\nMin/max calibers:\nPistol: .380ACP - .45ACP\nRifle: 5.45x39 - 7.62x39. PPC follow same min/max as pistol.\nComplete rulebook to follow.\nWe encourage you to also check Rocktoberfest\, our 2-day AK-only day match occurring the day of\, and after\, Party After Dark!

SUMMARY:SRSC DARK Match 10-24-26
DESCRIPTION:****IT WILL BE DARK\, YOU WILL NEED A LIGHT TO SHOOT THIS MATCH***\nHit Factor/Outlaw Match\nOne type of light will be allowed in the written stage brief on each stage. You may either use weapon-mounted light\, a headlamp\, or a handheld flashlight. If you have a weapon-mounted light but not a holster\, then a headlamp would be your best bet.\n****OUTLAW MATCH - MORE COOL STUFF ALLOWED****\nIf you do not have a holster for your pistol with a weapon mounted light\, this match will allow you to take a 1 second penalty to start from low ready.\nPistol brace PCC's will be allowed\, as are SBR PCC's.\nApproximately 125 Rounds\, 5 stages\nSetup will start at 4pm\, shooting will begin shortly after sunset\, approximately 6:45pm.\nPlan accordingly. Handheld flashlights or headlamps are allowed as are weapon-mounted lights. The stage brief will specify that only one light may be used at a time. If your first light fails\, you may use a second light to complete the stage. Night vision is equal to a light.\nAll competitors will be required to wear a chem light tied to their belts. Chem lights are provided by the match\, you don't need to bring your own.\n***NIGHT VISION POLICY***\nShooters with Night Vision will be on their own squad with non NVG shooters mixed in.\nNight vision may be allowed to be used by shooters on a case-by-case basis. It will be completely subjective on the part of the match director. If you have shot our matches in the past and have participated in them safely\, and in the opinion of the match director you have a reputation for being safe\, you will be allowed to wear and use night vision. If you have never shot a match at our club before\, or this is your first match\, you will not be allowed to use night vision. The reason for this policy is that the range officer will not be able to see the gun while the competitor is shooting. Those permitted to use night vision may be required to wear additional chem lights.\nWithdrawal from the match will get a refund and will have credit card fees deducted from the refund. No refunds are granted within 24 hours of the match.
