DESCRIPTION:22LR Falling Steel Match at Sharpshooters Indoor Range (Cold Range\, make sure all firearms are completely empty before coming in the store).\nA head-to-head match where 2 shooters compete to knock down five 6"x 8" steel plates from their respective sides\, using only 22LR Rifles or Pistols\, 10 rounds max. They are usually conducted as a double-elimination match with one-time buy-ins for $5 up to the 3rd round. New shooters will shoot at least 3 times. If there are fewer than 16 entries\, we may go to triple elimination with no buy-ins. Pairing is randomized as much as possible\, but repeat pairings will occur. There are 2 separate divisions\, Rimfire Rifle and Rimfire Pistol (any sighting system). A free match pass is presented to each division winner. Sponsored shooters are not eligible. All scores will be posted on the Upstate Sport Shooting Group FB page. Minimum Equipment: Rifle must have a safety flag\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection. Pistol in a safely secured container (Holster\, Range Tray\, Range Bag\, or zippered gun rug)\, 2 mags loaded to 10\, eye and ear protection.\nYou may sign up for 2 divisions. There will be a $5 fee for a second division.\nIf the shooters tie in their round\, they will be loaded up with another 10 rds to break the tie. If all plates are knocked down in a tie\, 2 plates will be set up for each shooter to resolve the tie. DESCRIPTION:Setup begins around 5:30pm with a practice available until the safety brief around 6:50pm with the match start at 7:00pm.\nMetallic silhouette involves shooting at steel targets representing rams\, turkeys\, pigs\, and chickens\, seeking to knock each metal target over. In our casual club league indoor silhouette\, animal target sizes vary\, but all are set out to 25 yards.\nEach animal has 10 targets\, and shooters have 4 minutes to complete 10 shots in an attempt to knock them all down. Any .22LR rifle or pistol\, or .177 or .22 caliber air rifle\, is permitted in this match. The match will require 40 rounds\, plus any used during the practice shoot period or making up for misfires.\nOpen to members and the public.\n$5.00/gun for adult club members\n$7.00/gun for adult non-members\nThis match is capped at 3 relays for a total of 48 shooters. Once those spots fill\, a wait list will open here.\nIf we receive cancellations through the withdraw function of Practiscore\, those spaces will be filled from those on the wait list. Any available spaces created by no shows can be offered to walk-ins first come\, first serve.\nYou can add yourself to a relay - called a squad here on Practiscore - so that our younger members and those with early obligations can fill the earliest relays. We reserve Squad 7 for new shooters with our mentor.\nSetup starts at 2 PM for those that want to help.\nIf locked out of the range\, please call ‭(623) 363-3665‬.\n- Handguns and pistol caliber carbine only\, minimum 9mm\n- Hit factor scoring\n- 80-100 required hits (bring double the ammo your first time)\n- 3 to 4 mags or speed loaders recommended\n- No shooting allowed past 10 PM\nMatch fees are $25.\n- $5 discount for Cactus members (calculated automatically)\n- $8 discount for same day receipt from the main range (email receipt to cactuspractical@gmail.com)\n- $10 discount for Juniors under 18 (first entry only)\nThursday night classifications: After your first time (Tyro) please move to D class until you win 3 times\, then move to C\, etc. If you are already classified in USPSA\, IPSC\, IDPA\, etc.\, please start in that class (after Tyro). SUMMARY:Armory Introduction to USPSA Match
DESCRIPTION:This is a match designed for people new to practical shooting games.  IF YOU ARE NOT A NEW SHOOTER\, YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE CANCELLED..\nIf you watch this video it will be discussed and helpful: \n\n\n\n\n\n			\n								\n \n																			\n \nWe will go over the rules\, divisions\, and then run three to four mini stages all building on the fundamentals of practical shooting. By the end of the night\, you should posses the knowledge necessary to safely compete in your first local match.\nOn signing up\, if you don't know your division sign up as LIMITED MINOR UNCLASSIFIED (U)\nPlan on bringing your gun\, a good quality holster\, two spare magazines\, and mag pouches to hold them in. Bring 150 rounds. You won't need that many but it's always good to have them just in case. Additionally\, bring good eye and ear protection. Over the ear muffs are recommended as we are shooting indoors.\nWhen you come in\, remember to keep all guns in boxes or otherwise holstered and unloaded until you are in the safe area or directed by the Range Official.

Whether you're a seasoned competitor or stepping into the arena for the first time\, Top Gun Range is where you can test your limits and aim for excellence.\nIndoor match with 2-4 stages.\nThis is a COLD RANGE\, so please enter upholstered and unloaded. If you need to make ready\, check your equipment please do at C Bay (lanes 11-15).\nPlease make sure you fill out an waiver once you enter the building\, and payment is required in order to register and squad.\nThis match will be using PCSL rules and scoring\, with little exceptions to divisions.\nDivisions:\nCompetition (COMP): 2011s/SA/DA pistols. Striker fired guns are welcome too. Other than magazine extensions restrictions (no magazines length past 171.25mm). Other than that no restrictions. Compensators\, porting\, red dots and flash lights are permitted.\nPractical Optics (PO): Striker fired pistols (usually full size) as well as SA/Da pistols. Compensators and porting is not allowed. But magwells\, flashlights\, and lasers are allowed. \nFactory (FACT): Striker fired pistols as well as SA/DA pistols as well. Irons sights ONLY\, no red dot sights.  Magwells are allowed\, but porting/compensators are not. Basically as it comes from the factory\nPistol Caliber Carbine (PCC): Any pistol caliber carbine in\, that has a stabilizing brace or stock to the shoulder.\nRequired Gear\nTo ensure you’re fully prepared for the Galleria Gunslinger Match\, here’s a list of essential gear you’ll need to bring:\n1. Handgun:\nA reliable semi-automatic pistol or revolver that meets PCSL division requirements.\nEnsure it is safe\, functional\, and in compliance with range rules.\n2. Holster:\nA secure\, belt-mounted holster that allows for safe drawing and reholstering.\nShoulder\, pocket holsters are not permitted for safety reasons. Appendix and AIWB holsters are allowed.\n3. Magazines and Mag Pouches:\nAt least three magazines (or speed loaders for revolvers).\nMagazine pouches or carriers to hold your spare magazines during the match.\n4. Ammunition:\nA minimum of 150 rounds of factory or hand-loaded ammunition (ensure they are safe and reliable).\n5. Eye and Ear Protection:\nSafety glasses or shooting-specific eyewear.\nEar protection (earmuffs or earplugs).\n6. Belt Setup: OWB belt setup\, and or AIWB setup is welcomed\nA sturdy range or competition belt securely holds your holster\, mag pouches\, and gear.
