SUMMARY:2026 Kentucky Steel Challenge State Championship
DESCRIPTION:This is the 10th Annual Kentucky Steel Challenge State Championship. It will be an 8-stage (all SCSA classifiers) match in half-day format. There will be 3 sessions (Friday morning\, Saturday morning\, & Saturday afternoon)\, and competitors will shoot all 8 stages in one session. A maximum of 2 guns per session\, at this time. Exceptions may be able to be made if space is still available closer to match day.\nFriday: Check-in will open at 7:00 and we will go hot at 8:00 AM\, or once the final walk through is complete\, whichever is soonest.\nSaturday AM: Check-in opens at 7:00 and we'll go hot at 8.\nSaturday PM: Competitors may check in anytime after 7:00 AM. We will go hot as close to 130 PM as possible. Saturday PM shooters need to be checked in and ready no later than 1PM so we can start as soon as the AM session is complete and everyone has been fed.\nAwards and large prize drawings will take place immediately following the match\, once scores are posted. We will have awards for all divisions\, classes\, and categories\, based on the number of entries. Placement awards will be given based on registration numbers received by July 1\, 2026. You do not have to be present to win your placement award or trophy. I can ship your awards/trophies for a fee of $10 or hand them to a proxy of your choice who can hand deliver them to you. For random prize drawings\, you MUST be present to win.\nRegistration will be $60 for each gun ($40 for Junior/Preteen shooters). You will need to create a separate registration for each division you are shooting. Registration fee includes lunch. Additional meals for family members and other guests may be purchased from our vendor.\nOnce you have paid\, you will be approved to squad. Please ensure that you squad all divisions you plan to shoot in a session. If the squad does not have space to accommodate all of your divisions\, you will need to select a squad that has space.\nIf you wish to pre-order a match t-shirt\, you may do so\, prior to July 1st\, for $20. T-shirt pre-orders will be turned off on 7/1\, and we will have a limited number of shirts available for purchase at the match.\nCancellation policy: Cancellations before June 1st will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee. Cancellations between June 1-30 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds after June 30th.\nIf you are traveling with a group and wish to reserve an entire squad (10 entries total) please send me an email prior to registering & squadding and include a list of shooters and how many guns they will be shooting. If you have a starting stage preference\, please include that as well.\nMatch Staff: Do NOT register! We don't allow that here.  Zero.\nWelcome to the August 2026 Zero Lux Given Night Vision Match.  Whether you are a novice or a straight up operator\, if you are a night vision enthusiast\, this match is a great opportunity to test your gear and skills.\nGrab your NODS\, lasers and guns for a multigun 2 gun night vision match complete with a prize table sponsored by local gun shops for the top contenders!\nThere will be four stages of fun and challenging targets from close up pistol targets to the long range rifle bay wtih bonus targets out to 200 yards\, all in the dark!\nRifle suppressors are highly encouraged.\nSetup and sign ins will begin at 7:30 PM with first shots around 9:30 PM or dark\, if sooner.  Please be on time and ready to help out prior to shooting.  Please review and familiarize yourself with the safety procedures and rules of the match before registering.\nMatch fees are paid in cash at the match during sign ins.  Please bring exact change.\nRound Count\, bring extra!\n150 pistol\n150 rifle\n4- Full size green chem lights\, 2 to be worn on your person at all times during the match.\nVis light\, handheld or headlamp to aid in scoring and resetting.\nNote:  At this time\, the prizes/ prize table will be awarded in an overall fashion\, not per division.
