Turn right on crushed limestone road just before Cawthorn sign on right. Proceed 1.5 miles to range.\nFrom Navasota proceed north on US 6 to F.M. 2154. Turn left and go 5.1 miles to a four way stop in Millican. Turn left and go 4.2 miles to Cawthorn. Turning right as above. From Brenham proceed east on hwy. 105 to hwy. 159 just past Brazos river. Turn left on hwy. 159 and proceed 9.5 miles to Cawthorn. Turn left just past Cawthorn sign on left.\nSee map at range website.\nFINDING THE RANGE – Be advised that the range property is on Bob Moore Rd. The thing is that there are two different Bob Moore roads in the Cawthon community. The range is accessed through the NORTHERNMOST Bob Moore Rd. 🙂\nThe correct range entrance road is right next to a TXDOT green sign that says CAWTHON – the name of the nearest community. We try to have some Appleseed signs posted near the entrance. I’ve attached pictures of the Cawthon sign and the long entrance road to the range.\nOnce on the range entrance road there is a 15 MPH SPEED LIMIT. The speed limit helps preserve the condition of the range roads. Please adhere to this speed limit when arriving and when leaving. The range owner considers it extremely disrespectful to do otherwise\, so please slow roll your bro-dozer.Follow the long\, straight gravel entrance road\, cross the NORTH BRIDGE (there is a sign at the bridge).\nAfter you have crossed the NORTH BRIDGE continue on the gravel road. Take the curve to the left past the gate. You will see some oil tanks. An outdoor hot shower is available on site but there is no potable water. A few electrical outlets are available to charge a cellphone. The range gate is normally locked: prior coordination  must be made with the event Shoot Boss to coordinate range gate opening if needed for camping before the start of the event.\nHotels:\nThere are no motels in Ramseur but restaurants and cafes are open during the week.\nSiler City is about 15 minutes east of the range. DESCRIPTION:To get involved you don’t need a DGRC or NRL22 membership – while a DGRC membership will save you on Range fees it’s not required. The NRL22 membership is only required if you want to report your score up to the National Org level because you’re vying to go to the big national level matches.\nIn terms of getting started\, you can roll with a 10/22 (there are some specific safety things that we will go over with regards to a semi-auto)…you just need to have a good scope (preferably with a X-mas Tree Reticle) and a detachable bi-pod.\nLet me know if you have any further questions! I don’t normally make it to practices due to family commitments but I’m trying to get to this one so perhaps I’ll see you there?\n\n\n1st Saturday of the month  for the NRL22 practice sessions –\nLocated at the MPR\n NRLPractice sessions runs from 9am-12pm and is open to anyone who wants to try NRL22-style shooting — If you are new\, please speak to the Practice Leader/RSO about how to shoot safely\n$5 for members with the  USI VIP card\n$10 for members without the USI VIP card\n$15 for public (non-member)
