SUMMARY:GMSA TACTICAL RIFLE / PCC AND PISTOL 2-GUN
DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Mountain Shooting Association presents fun and challenging PCC/Rifle and Pistol 2-Gun matches on the first Saturday of Feb.\, April\, Oct.\, and December each year.\nRegistration is online via Practiscore only.\nCost is $25 for most\, $20 for members. Setup crew and ROs shoot free.\nPre-registration is required\, squad sizes are 12 max.\nThe match is limited to 48 shooters\, including ROs.\nIf you register and decide you cannot make it\, PLEASE WITHDRAW FROM MATCH AT LEAST 48 HOURS BEFORE HAND SO SOMEONE ELSE CAN TAKE YOUR SPOT.\n Payment will still be onsite along with sign-in at the 50yd. range shelter.\n THERE WILL BE NO PRE-MATCH STAGE WALK THROUGHS. You will\n have time to walk each stage before your squad shoots it.\nPlease bring the Personal Protective Equipment that you are comfortable with.\nThere are generally 4-5 stages with total round count being 100-125rounds for each gun but bring extra!\nPCCs and Pistols must be semi-auto in 9mm up to 45ACP.  NO Magnum calibers. PCCs may be equipped with an arm brace (regardless of barrel length)\, but the brace cannot be strapped to the shooters forearm at any time.\nGMSA is a COLD RANGE match\, all firearms must be unloaded until directed otherwise by a Safety Officer.\nAppendix carry\, IWB holsters\, and pistol sharing with other competitors is prohibited. All holsters must be OWB secured to the belt with clips/paddle\, or belt loops and worn at waist level. Thigh rigs are permitted\, and the leg strap must be worn.

So let's see those Wheel Guns.\nThough you may register in multiple divisions\, you may only register once in any individual division.\nSCORING:\nWe will use the normal Steel Challenge Scoring.\nSAFETY AREAS:\nThurmont is a COLD range.\nFirearms must be unloaded at all times except during the match under the direct supervision of a safety officer (SO).\nHandling of firearms at vehicles is prohibited. Long guns must have an EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR (Chamber Flag) IN PLACE at all times starting from the moment the rifle is uncased for placement in a gun cart or brought to the shooting position.\nPistols may be unbagged and holstered ONLY at designated Safety Areas or unbagged under the direction of a RO/SO at the shooting position.\nSafety Areas are clearly marked with signs.  If the table doesn't have a sign marked "Safety Area" then it isn't one and Gun Handling is not allowed there but ammunition handling is.\nNO AMMUNITION HANDLING in safety areas. Use of suppressors is not prohibited but the match director can not assure accurate times.\nAll pistol calibers permitted. As per SCSA rules the maximum velocity for any Handgun or Pistol Caliber Carbine shooting steel is 1600fps.
