DESCRIPTION:Rimfire Pistol consists of 4 stages of fire.\nEach stage has 5 reactive targets at 15 yards. 4 regular targets and 1 stop plate target.\nShooters will shoot the 4 regular targets first and then the stop plate to stop the clock.\nEach stage consists of 5 strings of fire\, the best 4 of the 5 strings are used to calculate your score.\nShooters have 30 seconds to shoot the 5 targets. Any targets not hit before the stop plate incurs a penalty for each target. Shooters will be “coached\,” by the competition staff on rules\, walk throughs and general stage execution.\nCompetitors must bring a suitable firearm\, belt mounted holster they feel comfortable drawing from\, enough magazines to carry 30 rounds\, and 100 rounds of ammunition. It's recommended that competitors bring magazine pouches but you're also welcome to put spare magazines in your pockets if you don't have magazine pouches. No pocket\, ankle\, or small of the back\, fanny pack\, or off-body holsters.\nAll Competitors are expected to demonstrate safe weapons handling at all time. DESCRIPTION:2026 Free State USPSA Championship\nUSPSA Level II Match\nHosted by: Mill Creek Practical Shooting League\nLocation: Mill Creek Rifle Club\nMatch Fee: $150\nMatch Schedule\nSome key administrative staff will shoot the match on Thursday.\nStaff will shoot the match on Friday.\nAll competitors will shoot the match Saturday in a single day.\nPlease plan to arrive early enough to check in\, attend the shooter’s meeting\, and be ready to begin on time.\nUSPSA Membership Requirement\nBecause this is a USPSA Level II match\, all competitors must be current USPSA members.\nIf you are not currently a USPSA member\, you must join USPSA prior to competing. Your USPSA membership number must be entered in your PractiScore registration.\nCompetitors do not need to be classified in their division to participate. Unclassified competitors are welcome and will compete in the U classification until a classification is established.\nRefund Policy\nNo refunds will be issued after July 15\, 2026.\nBecause our credit card processor does not refund the transaction fees associated with credit card payments\, any approved refund will be issued less the processing fees charged by the payment processor.\nWait List Process\nEntries are awarded on a first-come\, first-served basis. DESCRIPTION:BCGC Steel Challenge – Monthly Match Schedule & Details\nSteel Challenge (SC) matches are held at the Jim Starr Long Range:\n•	1st Thursday of every month\n•	3rd Saturday during odd months (January\, March\, May\, July\, September\, November)\nSummer Hours\n•	8:00 AM – Setup & Check-in\n•	8:15 AM – New Competitor Meeting (Required for first-time participants)\n•	9:00 AM – Safety Briefing\nMatch Format\n•	BCGC SC matches consist of four (4) stages\, requiring 100–160 rounds per match.\n•	First-time competitors must attend the New Competitor meeting to participate.\n•	We operate a Cold Range\, meaning firearm handling is only permitted in designated Safe Areas or under direct supervision of a Safety Officer (SO). We shoot five 25 to 30 round stages on fixed and reactive steel targets following club range rules\, usually within two hours.​​​\nDivisions are Pistol\, Pistol Compensated and Pistol Caliber Carbine. Red dot sights may be used. Pistol holsters must completely cover trigger guards. ​\nA safety briefing will be held in the lunch area before the match.
