DESCRIPTION:This is our monthly steel match at RRPC\, open to the general public.\nThe match fee is $10\, payable in cash or check (made out to "Cash") on the day of the match.  Exact change is greatly appreciated.  Match staff shoots for free.\nThe match comprises three stages and features approximately 90 reactive steel targets.\nThe match is held on the lower ranges.  Shooters check in at the Pistol Range Firing Line starting at 8:00 AM.  Shooters briefing is at 8:30 AM\, and shooting starts immediately after the briefing ends.\nEar and eye protection is mandatory for all\, including spectators.\nThis match is run as a Cold Range\, meaning no one has a loaded gun until they are at a shooting position and commanded to load by their safety officer.\nIDPA/USPSA safety rules and commands govern this match.\nCompetition divisions for this event are:\nCFPI - Center-Fire Pistols with iron(open) sights\nCFPO - Center-Fire Pistols with optics\nPCC - Center-Fire Pistol Caliber Carbines or braced pistols\nAmmo must be common pistol cartridges\, no magnums please. No steel core ammo allowed.  Bring plenty of ammo!\nScoring is elapsed time plus 5 seconds for any target not knocked over or down.  Lowest score wins.\nNormal starting position is with a holstered pistol or PCC at the low ready\, with all safeties engaged.  Pistol shooters without a holster or uncomfortable drawing from a holster may start from the low ready position but receive a 3 second penalty.\nPistol shooters without holsters and PCC shooters must keep their firearms cased until it is their turn to shoot.

DESCRIPTION:BRRC is happy to announce the July 2026 Precision Rifle Match.\nOur Precision Rifle matches will consist 6-7 stages with targets up to 1016 yards. The round count will be around 75. Stages will simulate field conditions and appropriate for all skill levels.\nEquipment:  Rifle equipped with an optic that will allow you to locate and engage targets\, and other shooting gear you like to use. Rangefinders\, spotting scopes\, binoculars\, shooting rests are all acceptable.\nAmmunition limitation:  30 caliber maximum.  Maximum muzzle velocity of 3500 FPS. No steel core ammunition will be allowed.\nFees have now changed to $30 for Club Members and $40.00 for non-members. As always the match is free to active duty military.\nSafety Notes: All rifles must have a safety/chamber flag installed and magazines removed when not on the line.

SUMMARY:2026 Kentucky Steel Challenge State Championship
DESCRIPTION:This is the 10th Annual Kentucky Steel Challenge State Championship. It will be an 8-stage (all SCSA classifiers) match in half-day format. There will be 3 sessions (Friday morning\, Saturday morning\, & Saturday afternoon)\, and competitors will shoot all 8 stages in one session. A maximum of 2 guns per session\, at this time. Exceptions may be able to be made if space is still available closer to match day.\nFriday: Check-in will open at 8:00 and we will go hot at 9:00 AM\, or once the final walk through is complete\, whichever is soonest.\nSaturday AM: Check-in opens at 7:00 and we'll go hot at 8.\nSaturday PM: Competitors may check in anytime after 7:00 AM. We will go hot as close to 130 PM as possible. Saturday PM shooters need to be checked in and ready no later than 1PM so we can start as soon as the AM session is complete and everyone has been fed.\nAwards and large prize drawings will take place immediately following the match\, once scores are posted. We will have awards for all divisions\, classes\, and categories\, based on the number of entries. Placement awards will be given based on registration numbers received by July 1\, 2026. You do not have to be present to win your placement award or trophy. I can ship your awards/trophies for a fee of $10 or hand them to a proxy of your choice who can hand deliver them to you. We don't allow that here.  Zero.\nWelcome to the August 2026 Zero Lux Given Night Vision Match.  Whether you are a novice or a straight up operator\, if you are a night vision enthusiast\, this match is a great opportunity to test your gear and skills.\nGrab your NODS\, lasers and guns for a multigun 2 gun night vision match complete with a prize table sponsored by local gun shops for the top contenders!\nThere will be four stages of fun and challenging targets from close up pistol targets to the long range rifle bay wtih bonus targets out to 400 yards\, all in the dark!\nRifle suppressors are highly encouraged.\nSetup and sign ins will begin at 7:30 PM with first shots around 9:30 PM or dark\, if sooner.  Please be on time and ready to help out prior to shooting.  Please review and familiarize yourself with the safety procedures and rules of the match before registering.\nMatch fees are paid in cash at the match during sign ins. DESCRIPTION:SPECTATORS ARE PERMITTED\, BUT NEED TO ADHERE TO PERSONAL SAFETY RULES (EYE AND EAR PROTECTION MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ON THE RANGE)\nVSC Rifle and PCC Club Shoot Level 1.\nVisitors fees R150 to be paid at check-in.\nCheck-in @ Stats between 8:00 & 8:30 am. Anyone not at the range will be removed from the match strictly at 08:30.\nRange building starts at 08:30.\nShooting to commence after range building is completed.\nUNFORTUNATELY NO CATERING WILL BE AVAILABLE.\nDENEL SECURITY:\n1.	SANDF will monitor the first security gate as you arrive at Denel. If they stop you\, please tell them you are going to the Shooting Range – they will let you through.\n2.	You will be stopped at the second security check point as per normal. Please let them know that you are going to the Shooting Range. You will be asked your name.\n3.     They may also ask to search your vehicle on entry or when exiting.\n4.	Proceed to Vektor as per normal and check-in.
