DESCRIPTION:This is a sanctioned Tier 2 IDPA match brought to you by Average Joe's Shooting Team & Middle Tennessee Sporting Association. In honor of our proximity to Music City - The Home of Country Music\, the theme for this match will be country music dance styles - thus the Hoedown part of the Throwdown. (Dancing during stages is optional\, but very much encouraged).\nIDPA level II match\, with the following divisions:\nBUG\, CCP\, CDP\, CO\, ESP\, REV\, SSP\, PCC\nWe will operate under a COLD RANGE policy - no loaded firearms on anyone but the shooter running a course of fire (nothing in the chamber AND NO MAG in the gun). If you arrive at the range and find that you have a loaded firearm on you\, or in your shooting bag\, you MUST immediately seek out a Safety Officer and have them supervise the clearing of the firearm. Clearing a loaded firearm without SO supervision is a disqualifying event. DESCRIPTION:The Crockett Pioneers Shooting Club and the Tennessee Section are excited to welcome you to the 2026 Tennessee State Steel Challenge Championship presented by Creekside Custom.\nSTAGES:\nWe will be shooting the "Speed 6" stages (no Speed Option or Outer Limits) for this match.\nMATCH FEES:\n$50 per gun.\n*NOTE*\nTwo guns per session maximum. You may shoot as many guns for the match as you wish. But please make sure you complete a separate registration for "EACH" gun you plan to shoot. Be sure that you squad both guns together in your preferred session.\nSCHEDULE:\nFriday 8:30 AM / 1:00 PM\, (ROs/Staff embedded and competitors)\nSaturday 8:30 AM / 1:00 PM\nRegistration is open Fri/Sat from 7:45-8:15 AM and 12:30-12:45 PM\nRO / VOLUNTEERS:\nPlease email tnsteelchallengechampionship@gmail.com for details if you are interested in working as match staff.\nPRIZE TABLE:\nEntries will be randomized and prizes given to competitors during check-in for their first session.\nAWARDS:\n- Awards ceremony will be held after the Saturday PM session is complete and scores are finalized.\n- Awards will be given based on registration numbers on July 1 (one month prior to match).\n- We will recognize competitors for Division HOA and Class in a 5-10-15 format at minimum (1st\, 2nd\, 3rd) for trophy/certificates.
