SUMMARY:Flagstaff Action Shooters Steel Challenge for September
DESCRIPTION:Ready for a challenge? A STEEL CHALLENGE! The most fun you can have with a gun legally.\n*** 9 am start ***\nCHECK-IN 30 minutes before the match Saturday\, at Camp Savage. Shooters need to sign the waiver\, pay the match fee\, and prepare for the match. Come an hour earlier to help with setup.... You must be present for the safety briefing to participate.\nThe match will be at Prevail Training Center\, and the fee will be $15 for FAS members\, $25 for non-members. Membership is $50 per year. Kids shoot free. This is payable at the range\, cash or check. We do NOT use PractiScore membership.\nDirections to Prevail Training Center: http://flagstaffactionshooters.org/location\nEye and ear protection are required\, even for spectators\, and you must be present at the safety briefing at the start of the match to participate. All shooters and observers must sign a waiver.\nWe operate under cold range rules. Do not exit your vehicle with a loaded weapon. The only time we handle firearms is at a "safe table" (without ammo)\, or at the at the firing line under the direction of a safety officer. Firearms remain unloaded until the safety officer directs the participant to "make ready."\nDue to the unique nature of the Steel Challenge\, drawing from concealment or from inside the waist band is not allowed. Also\, no SERPA or other trigger finger release holsters (unless permanently disabled and allowed by the match director or range master).\nPlan on a total round count of ~100\, many of us bring 200 rounds to be safe (or because we miss a lot).\nThis is a rimfire friendly sport. This is a beginner friendly sport. This is an accommodative sport.\nIf you are interested in the rules or equipment details\, here is a link to the rule book: https://uspsa.org/viewer/2024-SCSA-Rulebook.pdf

SUMMARY:CPS Tactical 2 Gun September 2026
DESCRIPTION:Tactical 2 Gun (T2G) is a Multigun match that uses Time Plus scoring to test shooting\, firearm handling\, tactics\, and gear. These matches emphasize the “practical” in practical shooting sports. While “race” gear is welcome\, these matches are designed around and encourage the wearing of full kit. Stages focus on plausible\, real-world tactical scenarios. Penalties are stiff\, so striking the balance between accuracy and speed is essential.\nNew shooters should read through the Tactical 2 Gun (T2G) rulebook linked below prior to match day: \n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n\nTypical round count is 150 primary\, 75 secondary. However\, due to the nature of T2G match rules\, round counts can vary wildly. We strongly suggest bringing double the typical round count.\nSetup begins at 8:30AM. Please arrive at that time and help us build stages. Safety briefing begins immediately after setup.\n==============================\nWhile T2G matches are open to the public\, they are NOT suitable for net new shooters. The manipulations required and stage scenarios simulated make these matches best suited to experienced competitors. If you're unsure of your qualifications\, contact match admins linked in the above rulebook. Observers are always welcomed.\nEvent Requirements:\n• ALL Attendees – Registration is now required for CPS events at the provided registration link. Everyone must attend the safety brief. No exceptions.\n• If you just want to observe the event\, simply show up and sign the Liability Waiver in the CPS Office. If you have any questions\, please contact the Match Director.\nOther Info:\n• Gate Code - Gate event code is emailed to the registered attendees the night before or morning of the event.\n• Directions – Posted on the COSSA website.

SUMMARY:NCRGC PRO Series Eagle Eye Qualifier Match 202609
DESCRIPTION:Northern Colorado Rod & Gun Club (NCRGC) is proud to announce that we plan to host a Precision Rimfire Outlaw (PRO) Series “Eagle Eye” Qualifier Match on Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, during our regularly scheduled third Saturday match date. Qualifier Matches replace the former Regional format and are designed to provide a more challenging\, highly competitive\, stand-alone event experience separate from regular monthly club matches. As a result\, NCRGC will not hold its standard monthly NRL22 match in September\, with the Qualifier serving as that month’s featured event.\nThe match will consist of ten (10) stages with targets extending out to 200 yards. Match setup will begin at 7:30 a.m. (please come help us)\, followed by check-in and sight-in at 8:00 a.m. The shooter briefing and match start are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Participation will be limited to 50 shooters to maintain a safe\, organized\, and high-quality match experience. Competitors must pre-register\, pay the $40 entry fee\, and squad through PractiScore. NCRGC members will receive a $5 refund at registration.\nEach squad will have an assigned Range Safety Officer/Range Officer to help ensure safety\, consistency\, and smooth match operations throughout the day. Participants can also look forward to lunch being provided (made to order Angus burgers\, chips\, drink\, dessert) as well as door prizes secured through sponsor support to enhance the overall event experience. Hosting a PRO Series Qualifier provides NCRGC with an excellent opportunity to showcase our facility\, attract competitors from outside the local area\, and continue growing the Club’s reputation within the precision rimfire community.

Stages will have multiple steel targets ranging anywhere from 25 to 100 yards. Each month is a different course of fire. There will be great mix of new and experienced shooters who love to share knowledge with others.\nMagazine fed .22LR rifles only (Air Rifles are accepted according to NRL22 Air Rifle Rules) (NO .22MAG or pistols)\nYou must use the same rifle for all stages. Rounds required: 90 + extra for zeroing & practice.\nWe will closely follow the NRL22 rules and monthly course of fire but we just want everyone to come out and try shooting NRL22 and have fun. If you have a handicap and cannot get into some of the positions\, we will make accommodations (Adaptive Class).\nCome out shoot if you are interested in the precision rim fire. We go at a easy pace and have a great bunch that are willing to help new shooters.\nNRL22 web page - https://nrl22.com/\nMonthly COF - https://nrl22.com/downloads/\nRules - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1El6Ue6G789j4mlASuwCN6fZDefPLh76h/view?usp=drive_link

Additionally\, we understand there is an element of intimidation to those first few matches\, and we encourage potentially shy shooters not to worry this community is very helpful and you are in great company to learn.\nNo rifle\, no ammo? No problem! We understand that this is an expensive shooting sport to begin with\, and acquiring gear up front can be intimidating and costly. We are able to provide a loaner rifle\, supplementary ammunition and any other necessary gear for first-time shooters. We are happy to offer this for the first few matches for new shooters\, though please do not abuse our charity! If you will require a loaner rifle\, please contact one of the match director’s in advance.\n-8:00am: match setup (feel free to show up early and pitch in!)\n-9:00am: Match briefing and zero\n-10:00am: monthly NRL22 match begins\n-matches will proceed rain or shine\, unless otherwise notified\n-Round count: 75 minimum\n-Safety equipment: hearing protection and chamber flag\n-Note: Non-members must pay a once-per-day $25 guest fee to access the SPFGA property. SUMMARY:Pocatello Shotgun Run and Gun
DESCRIPTION:Multigun style run and gun SHOTGUN ONLY match woohoo! Finally a place where shotgunners can unite in a game of who can load it fastest! Courses of fire will include a lot of steel\, flying clays\, and some slug targets. Sorry given I only have two bays this match is truly shotgun only (no PCCs/Pistols/Rimfire/etc.).\nThis event will take place in Gulleyville (the old western town at the range) with an 8:30am sign in followed by a safety briefing and shooting by 9:00am. I'm planning on 4 stages but where we only have Gulleyville we will need to re-configure the two bays after everyone completes the first two stages (this won't take long\, I have the stages designed in such a way it should be quick to do and the stages still different enough to be worth it). This will most likely result in larger squads so be ready to jeer on your buddies while you wait!\nI'm figuring a box of shells per stage so plan on bringing at least 100 birdshot (#6 birdshot or smaller\, no steel shot) and 5 slugs + slugs for spinner bonus. If you plan on missing a lot like I do you may want to bring some extras! There will of course be a slug spinner bonus at 70ish yards so plan on however many slugs you need for that if you plan to take it on! Don't sweat it if you can't carry that many shells on you\, I will try and have it setup in such a way that we can stage a box of shells on the course of fire.\n$10 entry fee for the event and $5 guest fee applies for non-members of the range.\nContact Josh Dalton at j.dalton203@gmail.com if you need additional information or have questions.
