We encourage female shooters to participate. We always have a few females shooting regularly\, but would like more to enjoy our sport. This match is especially good for permanently disabled persons\, as it is on a smooth-level concrete floor\, and other accommodations are made for you. For moving stages\, if you are on a mobile device\, an experienced shooter can push you through the course of fire. Come with at least 2 mags (3 are allowed\, one more if shooting Bug or Rev)\, load one to 11 and the others to 10 If you are shooting in CO/CDP/CCP/EPS\, load one to 16 and one to 15 if you are shooting in SSP If you are in another division\, we will advise you. No shoulder holsters are allowed. All variations of the Sig Sauer P320 pistol are banned from IDPA match use.

SUMMARY:2026-08-10 First Responders Hit Factor Match hosted by Firearm Logic at Phoenix Rod & Gun Club
DESCRIPTION:Firearm Logic is hosting Arizona’s only all day First Responder local match\, consisting of five full size stages with a 150 to 200 round count. There will be three start times to accommodate different schedules. If it is your first time\, it is recommended that you bring approximately double that amount of ammunition.\nThis match is built to support our first responders who are at the forefront of every emergency response. Practical shooting provides a structured environment to apply fundamental firearm skills on demand in dynamic stages\, reinforcing consistency\, accountability\, and performance under pressure.\nMatch Schedule\nMorning Match\n9:00 AM start time\nMidday Match\n1:00 PM start time\nMain Match\n5:00 PM start time\n- The main match will have dedicated Range Officers on each stage responsible for running the timer and scoring tablet to ensure smooth and consistent match flow.\n- The main match will also have a designated law enforcement or civilian mentor who will shoot first on every stage to demonstrate stage pacing and execution. After their run\, the mentor will assist the squad with stage planning\, safety\, and performance guidance.\nIf you have never shot a match before\, match etiquette requires self RO squads. This means everyone on the squad must help with the tablet\, timer\, and especially resetting. Only the on deck shooter should be walking the stage while another shooter is actively shooting.\nWho is considered a First Responder and can sign up for the match?\nActive sworn law enforcement currently employed in a position with arrest powers\nActive full time EMS or firefighters assigned to 911 response\nFirearm Logic also supports specialized units through structured training sessions outside of the match environment. Units interested in dedicated training can coordinate directly at dennis@firearmlogic.org.\nHow do I know if I have the right gear?\nYour duty gear is sufficient. Otherwise\, whatever gear you have available will work. At a minimum\, you should have a firearm\, at least three magazines\, a holster\, magazine pouches\, a belt\, eye and ear protection\, and ammunition.\nHow do I know if I selected the right division?\nThat is okay. Select any division.\nCan I shoot the match multiple times?\nYes. Multiple sign ups are allowed\, and each additional entry will receive a 10 dollar discount.\nOnly your first score will count. All additional scores will be removed.\nYou may not shoot the same time slot twice. Each entry must be in a different time slot.\nOnly First Responder competitors that are non mentors will be eligible for random prize giveaways. The match director will randomize selections after all shooters have completed the match. Selected shooters will receive prizes from sponsors and can coordinate pickup with the match director.\nThis is a pistol only event and will follow USPSA style rules using hit factor scoring with modified outlaw divisions.\nDivisions\nPractical Duty\nMinimum caliber 9x19mm\nMaximum caliber 45 ACP\nMinor power factor scoring\nOptical\, electronic\, or iron sights permitted\nMaximum magazine capacity 17 plus 1 (Flush Fit Mag/126mm Length)\nNo compensators or porting\nNo frame mounted optics\nFlashlights and lasers allowed\nMagwells allowed\nMust be a handgun\nPractical Competition\nMinimum caliber 9x19mm\nMaximum caliber 45 ACP\nMinor power factor scoring\nOptical\, electronic\, or iron sights permitted\nMaximum magazine capacity 25 plus 1 (Magazine with basepad/141.25mm length)\nNo compensators or porting\nNo frame mounted optics\nGas pedals allowed\nFlashlights and lasers allowed\nMagwells allowed\nMust be a handgun\nOpen\nMinimum caliber 9x19mm\nMaximum caliber 45 ACP\nMinor power factor scoring\nOptical\, electronic\, or iron sights permitted\nMaximum magazine capacity 30 plus 1 (Extended mag/171.25mm length)\nCompensators or porting allowed\nFrame mounted optics allowed\nGas pedals allowed\nFlashlights and lasers allowed\nMagwells allowed\nMust be a handgun\nDefensive Practical\nMinimum caliber 9x19mm\nMaximum caliber 45 ACP\nMinor power factor scoring\nOptical\, electronic\, or iron sights permitted\nMaximum magazine capacity 17 plus 1 (Flush Fit Mag/126mm Length)\nCompensators or porting allowed\nNo frame mounted optics\nFlashlights and lasers allowed\nMagwells allowed\nMust be a handgun\nMust be shot from concealment\nRefund Policy\n- All registrations are final and non-refundable.\n- If you withdraw more than 24 hours before the match\, your registration will be issued as a credit toward a future Firearm Logic match. SUMMARY:GPA Match at the Cabin August 9th 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Galactic Pistol Alliance!\nSo\, what exactly is the Galactic Pistol Alliance? Briefly\, it is an action shooting sport designed to be safe\, challenging\, fun\, interesting and easily underwood.\nGPA has been in development and evolving since December of 2022. Since then\, we have run literally hundreds of GPA matches and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Here are a few features that make GPA such a blast!\n-No concealment garment required.\n-½ second scoring.\n-Every stage may have up to 24 required shots. More shooting equals more fun!\n-Ammo management is entirely the responsibility of the shooter.\n-You can load your mags to capacity and carry as many as you want.\n-Every stage requires one mandatory reload after the first shot and before the last. You decide when and where to\n do it.\n-You dropped a magazine with rounds in it? It's legal! No PE!\n-Targets may be required to be shot while you are moving.\n-Any stage can have an unlimited number of steel targets as well as unlimited non-threats!\n-With few exceptions\, whatever equipment you are using in another pistol sport is probably legal in GPA.\n-The rulebook is clear\, concise\, unambiguous and only 12 pages long!\nSHOOTERS MUST HAVE\n- Their own firearm\n- Eye and Ear protection\n- Minimum of 100 rounds of ammo\n- Waiver on file\nSHOOTERS SHOULD HAVE\nA quality IWB/OWB hard holster for their firearm (NO Serpa.)\nA minimum of two magazines or speed loaders (for revolvers) and pouches for them\nNo soft (leather/nylon) holsters will be allowed for safety reasons\, however those without a holster (or acceptable holster) may run each stage off of a designated table or starting point.\n(NOTE: ALL SIG 320 VARIANTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THESE EVENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
