DESCRIPTION:For this class\, you must pay in advance with a credit card.  Unpaid orders for seating will not be honored. \nOur AR-15 2.0 is the next class you’ll want to take after our Intro to AR-15.  We have developed this class just for you! \nYou will need to bring your personal rifle One hundred-forty to One hundred-fifty rounds of 5.56 or .223 Remington ammunition (NO M855 GREEN TIP AMMO ALLOWED).  We recommend using the rifle you expect to use for self-defense or for target-shooting purposes; in other words\, the gun with which you want to get better!  Expect a lot more trigger time under supervised instruction.  We do limit class size so that the instructors can devote individual attention to help you improve your gun handling and gain confidence in shooting your handgun. \nIf you do not yet have your own rifle\, rental guns are available for a $10 fee from our range desk\, but you’ll be better served by learning with the gun you expect to carry or shoot on a regular basis. \nOur AR-15 2.0 class focuses on building your skills with: \n\nmarksmanship fundamentals\, sight alignment\, steady hold\, and trigger break.\nA conversation about mechanical offset\, and a verification of the 25 yard zero\, which is the most important part of the course.\nOnce zero has been verified\, we’ll shoot positions\, supported\, unsupported\, sitting/ or kneeling\, standing\, etc. exercise those marksmanship principles discussed earlier.\n\nAll in a safe and fun environment! \nAS MENTIONED ABOVE\, BRING YOUR PERSONAL RIFLE TO THIS CLASS! \nWith our instructors’ experience in teaching and hands-on training\, you can be confident that the training you’ll receive is among the best in the industry. \nImportant to Know… \n1) This class is for those who have prior rifle experience only! You must have already taken our Introduction to the AR-15 class\, or have had similar previous experience. If not\, sign up and attend our Introduction to the AR-15 session BEFORE taking this class.  If you are unsure whether you’re ready for this class\, contact our range desk before signing up. \n2) You should understand all the controls on YOUR rifle and be familiar with its safe operation. \nMaterials required: \n1) You will need to bring your own rifle (UNLOADED) AND One (1) unloaded magazine. \n2) 140-150 rounds of either 5.56 Nato\, or .223 Remington ammunition. DESCRIPTION:AR 3.0 is the next step in developing crucial rifle-handling skills that you need to know now\, to help you prevail in an armed\, self-defense encounter! \nYou’ll develop greater confidence in your gun handling and shooting. \nIt’s an opportunity to learn about and immediately put into practice: \n\nUnderstanding and employing the defensive mindset;\nContinued emphasis on safety;\nPresenting your rifle from rest to ready for defensive purposes;\nShooting and reloading;\nWorking through malfunctions.\n\nOur instructors will explain critical goals and show you how to get there.  This is a tailored approach\, providing options to the students\, based on physicality and preferences\, with recommended processes if not previously adopted. \nPrerequisites:  \nYou should be familiar with the safe operation of your rifle and have had practice in shooting it!  \n \nYour rifle must be zeroed before coming to class. Please be aware that we have a 25 yard range. A rifle zeroed to anything other than that will require adjustment in your sight hold.\n \nYou must have successfully taken these classes as provided by us: \n\nIntroduction to AR-15\nAR 2.0\n\nIf you have not taken the classes listed above\, but have other experience you believe might qualify you for eligibility for this class\, please provide your name and contact information to: training@budsgunshop.com.  An instructor will contact you to help assess your experience before you sign up for a class for which you might be ill-prepared. \nMaterials needed: You will need to bring the following: \n\nA quality rifle with sling.\nTwo (2) or more\, 30 round magazines\, or Three (3) 20 round magazines.\nA quality gun belt that firmly supports your holstered gun and magazines. You will need a pouch for at least two AR magazines on your belt.\nTools for adjusting electronic optics or iron sights (if needed) \nPersonal eye and ear protection; electronic ear protection works better for this class;\nPen and paper for note taking;\n250 rounds of range ammunition in the proper caliber for your rifle; ammunition is available for purchase at our range counter.\n\nClass Duration: Up to four hours +/-  Classroom lecture and live-fire drills on our training range!
