SUMMARY:Dove Warm Up League
DESCRIPTION:Calling all Dove Hunters and Clay Shooters! Join the Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch for our Dove Warm Up Sporting Clays League and get into shooting shape for the upcoming dove season! There’s no better way to hone your skills\, improve your reaction time\, and get reacquainted with your field gun than a quick four-week shooting league! \nDates: \nJuly 29th\, August 5th\, 12th\, 19th and League Dinner Party/Awards on August 26th\, starting at 6pm! \n***Teams and Individuals can shoot anytime between Wednesday at 9AM and Sunday close of business each week.*** \nBasics: \nLeague scores based on 50 targets per week. \n(Practice course and 5-stand will also be available prior and after weekly rounds) \nTargets: \nEnjoyable targets will be set by Course Manager Gary Madigan and Christian Daniels \nPrice: \nPrice for league is $180 for all 4 weeks which includes the League Party Dinner/Awards (10% off for Members) \nTeams: \nA minimum of 4 shooters per team is required to make a team and a maximum of 6 shooters.  Team scores will take the highest 4 shooters including handicap for the weekly total.  Team rosters must be determined prior to the end of the first week.  Individual shooters will be grouped together to create a team. Shooters can only compete for one team per league. \nIndividual Awards:\n·        HOA\n·        HOA Runner-Up\n·        A Class First\n·        B Class First\n\n·        High Junior\n·        RU Junior\n·        1st-4th Lady\n·        Most Improved\n\nTeam Awards:\n·        First\n·        Second\n·        A Class First Place\n·        High Lady Team\n\nAdditional Info:\n\n\n• 10% off of League for Members\n  \n• Sign up before week 1 and you will be entered into drawing for 100 free targets\n  \n• League Party we will draw from the present participants for a free entry into following league\n  \n• Top 5 shooters will go into FINAL on League Party Night to determine the winner. Final 25 targets to be added to your League handicap score to determine winner.  \n\n  \nHandicaps: \nHandicaps are calculated by using the shooter’s weekly score\, then subtracting it from “par”\, which is 45 and multiplying the difference times .70 (70%) Example:  If a shooter’s score is 30 the equation is 45-30=15 x .70 = 10.5.  the product (in the example 10.5) will be added to the shooter’s score.  Handicaps adjusted each week.  Maximum score with handicap is 45. \nWeather and Bank Rounds: \nIf you are not able to make it on the scheduled evening\, bank scores must be made up by Sunday of that week or you will be given an average of 2 other weeks scores for that week.  The same for weather related cancelations. \nSign-Up: \nSign up using Score Chaser and utilize the “squadding request” function to add your teammates. ALL shooters must create a free Score Chaser account.
