DESCRIPTION:Each year Weapons Training Battalion hosts the Camp Lejeune Base Marksmanship Competition aboard the Stone Bay Range Complex.  The match is designed to increase the marksmanship proficiency of the units that participate and foster growth through a competitive environment.\nThe competition consists of 9 training days over a two-week period.  Week one will entail instruction on advanced pistol and rifle positions\, dynamic target engagement\, and individual marksmanship skills practice.  Week two will entail individual competition in the action rifle and action pistol disciplines\, unit team competitions\, and an awards ceremony.\nThe practice days will be full days and not be broken down into AM/PM. DESCRIPTION:Regular 4th Wednesday Steel Challenge at Peacemakers Gun Range. New shooters welcome & encouraged.\nSteel Challenge stages consist of 5 steel plates with one plate designated as the Stop Plate. You can shoot the plates in whatever order you like but the Stop Plate must be last because hitting the Stop Plate ends the current String of Fire. Your String doesn't end until you hit the Stop Plate so you can keep taking make up shots on missed plates until you decide to hit the Stop Plate or reach the 30 second maximum time.\nYou shoot 5 Strings in a row and your score for that stage is the total time of the best 4 Strings combined. The lowest total time across all stages wins. Most stages are shot stationary from within a shooting box\, but one stage does require you to move between boxes on the clock.\nThere are Divisions for Centerfire pistols\, Pistol Caliber Carbines\, 22 Rimfire pistols and 22 Rimfire rifles. The match includes the following divisions:  Open\, Limited\, Limited 10\, Production\, Revolver\, Single Stack\, Carry Optics\, PCC\, and Limited Optics.\nPrice:\nLRGI USPSA Range members $5 classifier fee\nLRGI Range members $10 plus $5 classifier fee\nNon LRGI members $25 plus $5 classifier fee\n(Be prepared to show LRGI membership card on request)\nPayments made at shooter check in only\, no online payments at this time\nShooter check-in opens at 5:00pm and closes at 5:50pm\, shooters meeting will be conducted in Bay 2 at 6:00pm with match start immediately following.
