SUMMARY:2026 Major Land Sniper Cup
DESCRIPTION:The Major Land Sniper Cup is one of the nation's premier precision rifle competitions\, bringing together military\, law enforcement\, and civilian marksmen for a unique weekend of learning\, competition\, and camaraderie. Competitors navigate challenging mountain terrain and tackle realistic "seek and destroy" scenarios that require target detection\, range estimation\, observation\, communication\, movement\, and precision engagement under time pressure. Targets range from close-range engagements to distances exceeding 1\,500 yards\, testing not only marksmanship\, but also teamwork\, problem-solving\, and fieldcraft.\nGuided by the motto "Learn • Compete • Connect\," the Major Land Sniper Cup combines world-class instruction\, industry networking\, and elite competition while preserving and advancing the traditions of excellence established by Major Land and generations of precision shooters.\nMatch Format:\n·	2-man sniper team\no	Primary: Bolt Gun in .308\, 6.5CM\, .260\, 6ARC\, 300WM\, 300NM\no	Secondary: Bolt Gun or Carbine in .556\, .308\, 6.5CM\, .260\, 6ARC (No magnum calibers)\n·	Both Shooters will carry pistols (TGTs 0-100 yds); Level 2 retention holsters strongly recommended\n·	Competitors will carry all gear used for the duration of the course of fire\n·	Ammo\no	Rifle: Approximately 100 rounds-ish per shooter per day\no	Pistol: Approximately 100 rounds-ish per shooter per day\n·	Teams will be hiking between shooting areas in variable\, hilly terrain. SUMMARY:GPA Match at the Cabin October 18th 2026
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Galactic Pistol Alliance!\nSo\, what exactly is the Galactic Pistol Alliance? Briefly\, it is an action shooting sport designed to be safe\, challenging\, fun\, interesting and easily underwood.\nGPA has been in development and evolving since December of 2022. Since then\, we have run literally hundreds of GPA matches and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Here are a few features that make GPA such a blast!\n-No concealment garment required.\n-½ second scoring.\n-Every stage may have up to 24 required shots. More shooting equals more fun!\n-Ammo management is entirely the responsibility of the shooter.\n-You can load your mags to capacity and carry as many as you want.\n-Every stage requires one mandatory reload after the first shot and before the last. You decide when and where to\n do it.\n-You dropped a magazine with rounds in it? It's legal! No PE!\n-Targets may be required to be shot while you are moving.\n-Any stage can have an unlimited number of steel targets as well as unlimited non-threats!\n-With few exceptions\, whatever equipment you are using in another pistol sport is probably legal in GPA.\n-The rulebook is clear\, concise\, unambiguous and only 12 pages long!\nSHOOTERS MUST HAVE\n- Their own firearm\n- Eye and Ear protection\n- Minimum of 100 rounds of ammo\n- Waiver on file\nSHOOTERS SHOULD HAVE\nA quality IWB/OWB hard holster for their firearm (NO Serpa.)\nA minimum of two magazines or speed loaders (for revolvers) and pouches for them\nNo soft (leather/nylon) holsters will be allowed for safety reasons\, however those without a holster (or acceptable holster) may run each stage off of a designated table or starting point.\n(NOTE: ALL SIG 320 VARIANTS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THESE EVENTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE)
