DESCRIPTION:The NRA America’s Rifle Challenge (ARC) program offers a new\, accessible way for owners to put their rifles to use safely\, competitively and enjoyably. ​The ARC program blends  marksmanship and skills training with competition\, aiming to appeal to both beginners and experienced shooters.\n​\nWhether someone is new to shooting or a seasoned competitor\, ARC offers stages that range from simple to complex. Gear requirements are minimal.\n    A safe\, functional AR-15\n    A sling\n    Two magazines\, Three or Four is better.\n    Eye and ear protection.\n    No green tip / steel core ammo!!!\nThe goal is to break down the barriers that typically deter newcomers from competitive shooting. No charge for match staff.\n$10 for a 2nd run if an open space is available.\nPlease arrive at least 15 MINUTES BEFORE your shoot time\, and wait in the club-house until you have been checked-in and asked to enter the range. Observers are not permitted within the range without prior approval by the match director.  We run a cold range.  Please arrive with firearms unloaded. If you happen to arrive with a loaded firearm\, please inform match staff to be safely unloaded.\nNOT PERMITTED:\n• SIG P320/M17/M18 currently banned by IDPA\n• Appendix holsters\n• PCC's\nEquipment Required:\n• Pistol and strong-side holster IWB/OWB\n• 3 magazines (for most divisions)\n• Concealment garment to hide your gun and loading devices.\n• Eye and ear protection.\n• Ammunition (bring at least 100 rounds)\n• Warm clothing and handwarmers for the colder months\nWe do occasional low-light stages\, and will try to notify shooters ahead\, but a handheld flashlight or weapon-mounted light and holster may be necessary. These matches are designed to test yourself under pressure to see where your skills are at.  Are you ready to carry?  Need to sharpen up those skills? Come on out and see where you're at and see if you can beat your personal best.  Stay with us the whole season to see who has the best league scores.  I'll post the best 4 out of 6 matches at the end of the year. I look forward to seeing everyone this year and I hope you continue to have fun with these matches! DESCRIPTION:Eagle Eye Challenge is designed to test your skills in a timed\, moving and shooting competition. The courses of fire will challenge you mentally and physically. Shooters will engage targets from behind cover or from a seated position\, while also having to perform magazine changes. Your final time will be based upon hits and misses.\nSuggested Items:\n1 firearm\n2 boxes of ammo\n3 magazines\nHearing and eye protection\nLong sleeve shirts and pants\nEquipment:\nIron sights or red dot optics\n3 magazines\nAmmunition:\nStandard commercial and reloaded ammunition is permitted.\nAny type of ammunition designed for penetrating metal is NOT permitted.\nIf you are using a rental thru the SSEC you must purchase our ammunition to use thru it.\nNo steel jacketed\, steel shot\, or steel core bullets permitted.\nNo tracer\, incendiary\, armor piercing\, gas or explosive ammunition is permitted.\n**Everyone must be present for the safety brief which will take place 15 minutes prior to the timing round.\nNote for those who have competed in an Eagle Eye before who are not familiar with the changes made for the Red Dot competition:\nGeneral course of fire may be altered.\nRed dot optics are PERMITTED.\nCompetitors who wish to compete without a red dot may do so.
