This IPSC-style charity match honours three officers; Ontario Provincial Police Constable Tarun Bali\, Toronto Police Service Constable Marc Pinizzotto\, and Montreal Police Service Mark Lamine Benredouane\, lost in the line of duty.\nIn just thirteen short days\, we lost these men. Three families that will never be the same. Three detachments grieving the loss of a co-worker and friend. Three lives cut short far too soon.\nThis match is our way of bringing everyone together to honour these three men\, to give back to their families in a time of need\, and to bring awareness to the often-invisible weight not only carried by first responders\, but by their families every single day.\nPlease help us show what the community can do when we all come together. Look forward to over 1\,000 acres of unique terrain and great shooting locations.\nRun n Gun is a 2-gun biathlon. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol over a predetermined course of fire ranging in distance.\nEach competitor is assigned a unique start time to enter the course. Re-supplying once on the course is not permitted.\nCompetitors will encounter several stages to shoot at throughout the course. These stages may be rifle only\, pistol only\, or a combination of the two.\nEach stage has a unique layout including varying numbers of targets and distances to the targets. Competitors must be able to adapt to the stage\, target size\, and distance on their own in order to complete the stages.\nGenerally\, pistol targets will range from 15-50 yards; while rifle targets will range from 75-700 yards.\nCompetitors will be put in unique situations and positions that will require engaging targets they might not be accustomed to. Additionally\, some stages might require movement\, or transitions from one position/weapon to another. Safety is paramount. Competitors and ROs will ensure that shooters are moving with the safety on\, finger off the trigger\, and muzzle down range. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.\nWhile running on the course\, rifles will not be loaded or have a mag inserted. Pistols are allowed to be in condition 1 (or loaded) while holstered. Competitors will be checked at the start/finish along with the entry/exit of every stage. DESCRIPTION:5 stages of Action Steel\nSummer Schedule --  5 action steel stages for July\, August and September.\nPMRPC members: $15\nNon-members: $20\nActive Duty LEO/Military:  $10\nJunior (Under 18): Free\nCost of match is $20\, with discounts provided for Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club (PMRPC) Members\, Active-Duty Police/Military\, and Juniors under 18. All must show ID at sign-in.  Payment of the match fee is required at registration.  Reminder:  You can only take one discount.\nREFUNDS: Refunds will be provided less $5 credit card processing fee. No refunds if you cancel less than 24 hours before match start time.  No match day registration.\nCircular plates require 1 hit for score\, rectangular and square plates 2 hits.  Last shot bonus (yellow) plate hit is 3 seconds from your time for round plate\, 6 seconds for 2-shot rectangle plates. Missed plates incur a 3 second penalty.  Your score is your time for the stage.  Shot count for most stages is 30 or less.  The bonus is something that can reward good shooters without penalizing any shooters.  Verify your score after you shoot\, grossly inaccurate scores will result in a DNF for that stage.\nWe also want to remind shooters that we only allow ONE GUN per shooter.\nAlso a reminder that all center fire pistol shooters much have a holster and begin the stage with the pistol in the holstered position. Check in at pistol bays begins at 7:30\, with first shots at 9 AM.\nSanctum operates using a "COLD RANGE" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box.  Holstering to be done at identified safe tables located in pistol bays.  No ammo allowed in safe areas.  Pistol to remain holstered until you are in bays under the direct supervision of a Sanctum/IDPA Safety Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire.
