SUMMARY:2026 Tennessee Hoedown Throwdown sponsored by Royal Range USA
DESCRIPTION:This is a sanctioned Tier 2 IDPA match brought to you by Average Joe's Shooting Team & Middle Tennessee Sporting Association. In honor of our proximity to Music City - The Home of Country Music\, the theme for this match will be country music dance styles - thus the Hoedown part of the Throwdown. (Dancing during stages is optional\, but very much encouraged).\nIDPA level II match\, with the following divisions:\nBUG\, CCP\, CDP\, CO\, ESP\, REV\, SSP\, PCC\nWe will operate under a COLD RANGE policy - no loaded firearms on anyone but the shooter running a course of fire (nothing in the chamber AND NO MAG in the gun). If you arrive at the range and find that you have a loaded firearm on you\, or in your shooting bag\, you MUST immediately seek out a Safety Officer and have them supervise the clearing of the firearm. Clearing a loaded firearm without SO supervision is a disqualifying event. The match begins at the start of the shooters' meeting - except for competitors on a course of fire that have been told to load and make ready\, anyone with a loaded firearm at that time\, or thereafter\, will be disqualified.\nThis will be a lost brass match.\nMD: King Drummond - A51844\nAMD: Laura Medley - A271680\nMatch Hotel: TBD\nPayment of the $75 match fee is required at the time of registration.\nNo Refunds after July 15th\, 2026. Refunds on or prior to July 15th\, 2026\, will have $5 service fee deducted.\nStaff shoots for free.\nWe look forward to putting on a fun and challenging match for you. Please reach out to us at averagejoesshootingteam@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.
