SUMMARY:RAGE Series (ACTION 2 gun) - 2 gun Intrepid defense Match #3
DESCRIPTION:RAGE Action 2-Gun Match — What to Expect at Intrepid Defense\nThe RAGE Action 2-Gun Match at Intrepid Defense is built to test far more than basic rifle and pistol marksmanship. This is a fast-paced\, physically demanding action shooting match that blends traditional bay-style shooting with field-style stages\, movement\, positional shooting\, target discrimination\, and practical problem solving under time.\nCompetitors should expect approximately 250 total rounds between rifle and pistol\, depending on individual accuracy and stage execution. Bring extra ammunition. You will engage a mix of paper\, close-range steel\, smaller precision steel\, and rifle steel at distance. Some targets will require speed and aggression\, while others will demand patience\, stable positions\, and precise shot calling.\nThe match will typically include eight total stages:\nFour bay-style stages focused on speed\, transitions\, footwork\, stage planning\, and efficient weapon manipulation.\nFour field-style stages requiring longer movement\, positional shooting\, prop work\, physical tasks\, rifle engagements at distance\, and problem solving across natural terrain.\nExpect to shoot heavily off props\, barricades\, vehicles\, ports\, natural terrain\, and improvised positions. Some stages may require shooting from kneeling\, prone\, supported standing\, awkward angles\, or elevated positions. You should be prepared to move quickly into and out of positions while maintaining muzzle awareness\, safety\, and control of your equipment.\nPhysicality is a core part of RAGE. Some stages may include sprinting\, climbing\, carrying\, dragging\, crawling\, or other movement-based tasks before\, during\, or after shooting. This match rewards shooters who can manage heart rate\, think clearly under stress\, and still deliver accurate hits.\nCompetitors should be prepared to use a rifle sling on certain stages. A quality sling is strongly recommended. You should also have a secure pistol holster with strong retention. Because stages involve aggressive movement and sprinting\, your pistol must remain secure throughout the course of fire.\nScoring may vary by stage and may include different scoring techniques depending on the intent of the course. Some stages may emphasize raw speed\, while others may reward accuracy\, target priority\, clean shooting\, or smart stage planning. Read each written stage brief carefully and ask questions during the walkthrough.\nThis match is designed for shooters who want a challenging\, athletic\, and practical 2-gun experience. Come prepared to move\, think\, shoot from uncomfortable positions\, manage your gear\, and solve problems under time. RAGE is not just about shooting fast — it is about shooting well while under physical and mental pressure.
