DESCRIPTION:In celebration of our country's 250th Birthday we will ring it in with a massive falling steel stage the morning of July 4th. It will be epic!\nLocation:\n20500 Forest Woods Lane\nMontgomery\, TX 77356\nThe schedule is as follows.\n0900 22 and 9mm show up\n1100 shotgun show up\nOr show up when your free.\nEnd time is 1200.\n$15 per division or team run. Sign up in multiple divisions!\nHad to increase the cost a little for the amount of paint this is taking;)\nOne giant red\, white and blue stage. 115 plus targets with all my Texas Stars. All steel must be shot from appropriate color box to score. Shotgun and Shotgun teams will shoot last and color does not apply. Bring a few Slugs for shotgun.\nRESETTING IS REQUIRED  \nNOT PLANNING ON LOANER GUNS.\nThree colored shooting boxes. Must shoot targets from appropriate  color box. All shooting boxes will be behind a 6 foot table. You may stage guns and mags on the table. There will be dump buckets for pistols and rifles. Bring however many guns and mags you will need for 115+ targets. After we finish building the stage the target number may increase. All pistol calibers 22LR and shotgun are welcome. If you do not have enough mags and guns\, bring a friend! We will have a team division. Shotgun and Shotgun team will shoot after all other division as they will clear the paint off the steel and will not be held to color as targets will overlap. DESCRIPTION:This is our monthly steel match at RRPC\, open to the general public.\nThe match fee is $10\, payable in cash or check (made out to "Cash") on the day of the match.  Exact change is greatly appreciated.  Match staff shoots for free.\nThe match comprises three stages and features approximately 90 reactive steel targets.\nThe match is held on the lower ranges.  Shooters check in at the Pistol Range Firing Line starting at 8:00 AM.  Shooters briefing is at 8:30 AM\, and shooting starts immediately after the briefing ends.\nEar and eye protection is mandatory for all\, including spectators.\nThis match is run as a Cold Range\, meaning no one has a loaded gun until they are at a shooting position and commanded to load by their safety officer.\nIDPA/USPSA safety rules and commands govern this match.\nCompetition divisions for this event are:\nCFPI - Center-Fire Pistols with iron(open) sights\nCFPO - Center-Fire Pistols with optics\nPCC - Center-Fire Pistol Caliber Carbines or braced pistols\nAmmo must be common pistol cartridges\, no magnums please. No steel core ammo allowed.  Bring plenty of ammo!\nScoring is elapsed time plus 5 seconds for any target not knocked over or down.  Lowest score wins.\nNormal starting position is with a holstered pistol or PCC at the low ready\, with all safeties engaged.  Pistol shooters without a holster or uncomfortable drawing from a holster may start from the low ready position but receive a 3 second penalty.\nPistol shooters without holsters and PCC shooters must keep their firearms cased until it is their turn to shoot.

DESCRIPTION:This is an IPSC World Shoot Qualifier (RQ3) -of a 4-round series of events- running separate to and concurrent with the 2026 USPSA Multigun Nationals. It will have 4 IPSC Rifle only stages\, or be rifle only adaptations of select MGN stages TBD. One does not need to participate in MGN to shoot this match and vice versa. This match can be shot on its own or in addition to MGN.\nAt the request of USPSA\, we are incorporating this alongside the MG Nationals\, but it is a separate match. Things like DQ's from one do not influence the other. We are extremely excited to host our 2026 Series Rivals and Teams event here\, as it is going to provide competitors with a great shooting experience.\nTactical Biathlon is a 2-gun biathlon. Competitors carry a rifle and pistol over a predetermined course of fire ranging in distance.\nEach competitor is assigned a unique start time to enter the course. Re-supplying once on the course is not permitted.\nCompetitors will encounter several stages to shoot at throughout the course. These stages may be rifle only\, pistol only\, or a combination of the two.\nCompetitors have 3 minutes to complete a stage. If the competitor fails to complete a stage within the time allotted\, they will receive a Did Not Finish (DNF).\nEach stage has a unique layout including varying numbers of targets and distances to the targets. Competitors must be able to adapt to the stage\, target size\, and distance on their own in order to complete the stages.\nGenerally\, pistol targets will range from 15-75 yards\, while rifle targets will range from 50-700 yards.\nCompetitors will be put in unique situations and positions that will require engaging targets they might not be accustomed to. Additionally\, some stages might require movement\, or transitions from one position/weapon to another. Safety is paramount. Competitors and ROs will ensure that shooters are moving with the safety on\, finger off the trigger\, and muzzle down range. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. A DQ will be removal from the course\, and you will be done for the day.\nWhile running on the course\, rifles will not be loaded or have a mag inserted. Pistols are allowed to be in condition 1 (magazine inserted and a round in the chamber) while holstered. Competitors will be checked at the start/finish along with the entry/exit of every stage. Failure to follow this (or competition specific rules/regulations) will result in immediate disqualification.\nOur competitions will weight your score 50% for shooting and 50% for run time\, unless otherwise specified on the event page.\nThe Series event will be a 6-10 mile course in the typical Tactical Biathlon style.\nThe Rivals and Teams event will utilize the Series course with modified stages and a lessened distance. Rivals can be ran individually or in a group. Teams will be composed of 2 members. Teams will go out on the course together and shoot the stages as a unit. DESCRIPTION:5 stages of Action Steel\nStart of our Summer Schedule --  5 action steel stages for July\, August and September.\nPMRPC members: $15\nNon-members: $20\nActive Duty LEO/Military:  $10\nJunior (Under 18): Free\nCost of match is $20\, with discounts provided for Port Malabar Rifle and Pistol Club (PMRPC) Members\, Active-Duty Police/Military\, and Juniors under 18. All must show ID at sign-in.  Payment of the match fee is required at registration.  Reminder:  You can only take one discount.\nREFUNDS: Refunds will be provided less $5 credit card processing fee. No refunds if you cancel less than 24 hours before match start time.  No match day registration.\nCircular plates require 1 hit for score\, rectangular and square plates 2 hits.  Last shot bonus (yellow) plate hit is 3 seconds from your time for round plate\, 6 seconds for 2-shot rectangle plates. Missed plates incur a 3 second penalty.  Your score is your time for the stage.  Shot count for most stages is 30 or less.  The bonus is something that can reward good shooters without penalizing any shooters.  Verify your score after you shoot\, grossly inaccurate scores will result in a DNF for that stage.\nWe also want to remind shooters that we only allow ONE GUN per shooter.\nAlso a reminder that all center fire pistol shooters much have a holster and begin the stage with the pistol in the holstered position. For rim fire\, we do not require a holster since most action matches do not allow rim fire participation -- we do for action steel so we will use the rim fire rules for Steel Challenge.\nPMRPC range rules require that muzzles of long guns be carried muzzle down (NOT UP!) and must be flagged or encased whenever carrying the gun.\nWaitlist ok -- Waitlisted shooters will be notified prior to match if they are approved to shoot.\nNo check in required.  Shooter information is available at staff table in bay 6.  Shooters can go directly to their first stage.\nMandatory shooter's briefing at 8:30\nMatch starts immediately after briefing.\nDo a roll call of your squad prior to your first shot.\nTablets and Timers stay on stage.\nKeep in mind that Port Malabar does not allow draw from appendix holster position due to club insurance.\nThe Sig Sauer P320 — including all derivative models based on the P320 platform — is not permitted on PMRPC property. This temporary suspension will remain in place until the underlying concerns have been fully addressed and resolved to our satisfaction. DESCRIPTION:Match will consist of five stages with round count of 108.  Check in at pistol bays begins at 7:30\, with first shots at 9 AM.\nSanctum operates using a "COLD RANGE" principle which means all firearms are to remain unloaded and in your gun bag/box.  Holstering to be done at identified safe tables located in pistol bays.  No ammo allowed in safe areas.  Pistol to remain holstered until you are in bays under the direct supervision of a Sanctum/IDPA Safety Officer and have been instructed to "load and make ready" on a prescribed course of fire.
