For those who have not shot a Steel Challenge match before\, arrive before 9:30 for registration and let the person doing registration know this is your first match. If paying by credit card\, arrive extra early and go up to the clubhouse to pay and bring receipt to registration.\nClub level 1 Steel Challenge match. Fun for everyone from Grandparents to Grandkids. 6 stages\, 150 rounds minimum\, but bring 250 rounds or more. Five mags per gun is nice\, but not required. DESCRIPTION:IDPA is the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated “real world” self-defense scenarios using firearms that are suitable for self-defense use.  ** See note at bottom**\nOur matches usually consist of 4 stages - from very basic to quite difficult. Usually a mixture of scenario and standards.\nClub level matches officially start at 4 PM. You do not have to be present at the start of the match. You will shoot in the order that you check in once you’ve arrived at the range.\nDue to safety concerns on our indoor range\, no jacketed hollow-point\, steel core\, or Wolf brand ammunition allowed.\nMatch fees are due at signup\, $15 for non-members & $10 for NCRR members.  For members to receive the discount\, they must also be a NCRR member on Practiscore.  To become a NCRR member on Practiscore\, after applying for club membership on Practiscore\, you must confirm your NCRR membership by sending an email to idpa@ncrr.net (from the email account they use to log onto Practiscore) with your NCRR member number. DESCRIPTION:This will be a 5 stage USPSA match with a round count of between 150 and 160.\nIf you want to shoot both matches (Friday night and Saturday morning) then you will have to register in two different divisions per USPSA rule 6.2.4 and 6.2.4.1. Failure to do so may result in zero score for the second match.\n$25 with a $5 discount for verified PRGC members.\nAppendix Carry is ONLY authorized for C Classification or above.\nThe Practical Division is always happy to have new shooters at our USPSA matches but it is important that you be familiar with the rules and procedures before you shoot your first match.\nWe will cover specific rules and answer questions at the new shooter’s briefing before the match but the following general rules will keep you in compliance when you first arrive:\nA. Bring your unloaded gun to the match in a case or bag.\nB. Handle your gun only at one of these two approved times:\n1.	When in the marked safety areas. These areas are where you transfer the gun from your bag or case to your holster at the start of the match\, and where you return it to your bag or case when you are finished with the match.\n2.	When explicitly authorized by the RO when it is your turn to shoot a stage. You are allowed to handle your gun beginning with the “Make Ready “ command and ending with the “Range Is Clear” command.\nC. Do not bring ammunition into the safety areas.\nD. Guns are to be unloaded with no magazines in them at all times except for when you are the shooter and have been given the “Make Ready “ command. After the “Range Is Clear” command you are again subject to the unloaded gun requirement.
